I talked to Jansen last week about installing my Corsa exhaust om my 2012 Corvette GS, . I showed up on the day and time he gave me. Job was done in a timely manner, charged me the price he quoted. I am very happy with the work. I will visit him again. read more

HIGHLY recommend! Friendly, very reasonable rate, professional, excellent work and quick turnaround time. Prompt responses, was able to schedule the work right away, what I was quoted was the price I paid. The car sounds amazing with my new mid muffler delete. Thank you! read more

Big thanks to Jason for cleaning up a section on my Toyota Supra exhaust! Excellent service with quick turn around.

I highly recommend Chino Valley Muffler & Performance! My catalytic converter was stolen unbeknownst to me until I started my engine! It made a horrible sound as if I didn't have a muffler. After calling many shops in the Chino area for estimates, Jason gave me the BEST estimate! He was very informative and very patient with all of my questions. I made an appointment for 8am to replace my catalytic converter and my car was ready before noon. That's A1 service in my opinion. The shop is very clean and one of his many services offered is to place a cage or shield on the catalytic converter to deter theft in the future! Great business! Thank you Jason! read more

Came here for an oil change. Paul was professional and I was very happy with the service.

Been coming here for the last 15 years, and when I saw that Tom had sold the shop I was a little concerned. But after just meeting Jason once my worries were no more. Jason did a phenomenal job on welding on magnaflows to my accord, great/fair pricing, easy to talk to in terms of what I needed, and was never pressured into buying anything I didn't need. The mufflers were positioned perfectly with the welded on OEM tips exactly where I would want them. Would recommend this shop any day of the week. read more

I came here two years ago to replace the OEM mufflers on my E class with a dynomax race bullet and they gave me the quote and we got everything set up. Everything was going well. Went to pick up my car, race bullet installed, now I just need to pay. Woops, forgot to grab my OEM mufflers. I asked for my OEM mufflers and they hesitantly agreed to let me take them back with me. I did end up with the OEM mufflers, so that's fine. Fast forward to today, I am putting my OEM mufflers back on at a different place. I tell the new guys to cut out the race bullet and replace them with the OEM mufflers. The new guy checks under my car and says, "there's no dynomax race bullet under here. It looks like the last guys you took it to just sawzalled out the OEM mufflers and welded in some straight pipe." Not only did these guys not install the race bullet I brought them, they were going to keep my OEM mufflers after the fact. That would have been a nice payday, I suppose. I was referred to Jason at Chino Valley Muffler & Performance. I was shopping around to get an exhaust re-route done on my Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4. I needed this re-route done in order to fit my new skid plates under my Tacoma for a flush/flat fit. The way Toyota currently designs the exhausts on the Tacoma's is to bend it under the transfer case which causes the truck to lose ground clearance. I cannot be happier with Jason's work. He re-routed my exhaust to bend around the transfer case instead of under. Doing this will increase my ground clearance when off-roading and have my skids fit nice and smooth end to end. I highly recommend coming to Jason for your exhaust re-route needs if you are in the market for it. He quoted me a very fair price that I was happy with and had the work done on time as estimated. Jason also offers other services as well in the shop. I recommend giving the shop a call and setting an appointment. I will also be having Jason doing the install on my rock sliders and skid plates and will review that service as well! read more

My truck had the catalytic converter cut off while I was at work. I was left without a vehicle until I could get it repaired. I spoke with John who gave me a very reasonable quote and fit me in the next day. The service only took a couple of hours and they even welded plates underneath the truck to help prevent any future theft attempts. Very pleased with the work and the overall experience I had at this shop. The welded pieces look great and make it much more difficult to get to the catalytic converters. I highly recommend this shop for any repairs and preventative measures underneath exposed vehicles. I will be using this shop for myself and my family in the future. read more

Approx 4 years ago I had headers installed on my Silverado, 4 years later no leaks running great, I posted pic then too. Fast forward to today, Jason, the owner did a fantastic job installing a Corsa mid pipe on my Shelby. My Shelby is super low and Jason took extra care to prevent damaging of my car when putting it on the lift. He did a great job on the install, was fair in price. I will be coming back and I would refer a friend. He also does some fabrication work I learned while having a great conversation. Thx again Jason, gt350 sounds amazing! Matt read more

I recently had my catalytic converters stolen off my RV while stored at McBride's RV Storage in Chino. After filing a police report and dealing with Insurance, I reached out to Chino Valley Muffler and performance to get an estimate. Jason responded quickly with his initial estimate. When ready to get the replacement installed I called Jason to schedule. He said I could drop it off in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. I told him I lived in Orange County and he immediately found a day and time that I could bring it in and wait for him to do the work. I brought the RV in at the scheduled time, Jason was there to greet me. He told me it would be about an hour. I decided to walk and get some breakfast while waiting. I came back to the shop about 30 minutes later and work was done. Jason also shared valuable information about catalytic converter theft in the area. Really appreciative of the customer service. Thanks Jason. read more

I had my catalytic converter replaced a few months ago. I found the best price here. Jason is awesome. He provides great customer service and he is responsive. Jason is a great dude, clean shop, quality work, and fair prices. Highly recommend and will return for any future work.

I went through weeks and weeks with my insurance and a competitor to replace my catalytic converter. I wish I found this place sooner. The previous place told me several lies forgot to call me did not send in photos and made up some story about how I had to pay extra costs. I found them on Yelp and they seem reliable. I can't believe the number of businesses that don't even answer their phone anymore and I have to follow up myself. These guys specifically Jason picked up the phone on the first ring and was professional throughout my entire experience which by the way only lasted within 24 hours. It is very refreshing knowing that this place exists and that if this unfortunate circumstance were to happen again I know who to call and what to expect nothing short of Excellence. read more

What an awesome shop. Tom is such an awesome honest person. Called him to install new exhaust on my Dodge Challenger. Took them maybe two hours. He never tried to upswell me. Had code P04020 on my daughter's 2000 Toyota Solara. Had Magnaflow muffler replaced on my pickup years before but It changed ownership. Called Jason for a quote drop off the car and was done at time he promised. He replaced a manifold catalytic converter. I figured I bring it here instead of my regular mechanic Price wise don't really know if it's competitive since I didn't compare with other shops. But I know based on the work done he did an excellent job by himself he works alone. Will come back again For future muffler and catalytic converter needs. Highly recommended. read more

This shop was listed by Chino PD as one of the muffler shops to get your VIN # engraved on your catalytic converter. After dealing with rude people on the phone for the first 3 calls I did not expect much. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did he take the time to answer all my questions, but he also worked with me to come up with a good appointment time. When we arrived for the appointment, he was friendly and helpful. We asked about having a cage built around the catalytic converter and he was able to quote us a prive and finish the work same day. His price was reasonable and he completed the job in no time at all. Would definitely take my vehicle there if I had muffler problems. read more

Been in Chino forever!!! Great job and service everytime. Told Tom what I was looking for as far as sound and tone. I wanted a deep tone that will quiet down once on the fwy. Job took about an hour which wasn't bad at all if you want it done right. Tom took it around the plaza so I could hear it perform. Sounded great. Great sound as I accelerated from a dead stop. Sound eventually tones down as I start to cruise. Couldn't be happier. read more

Owner Jason is a super nice guy. Replaced my stock exhaust (cat back) on my 20Mustang, price was more than fair!!. Also heard him talking to someone about a cracked frame and rather than try to fix, he told them it was not something worth fixing! Honestly! This guy deserves your business! read more

I came here to see what was wrong with my exhaust system. Tom said he needed at least 20-25 minutes before taking a look at Sheila (my car's name). I went out to get breakfast while waiting and about 30 minutes later, he gave me a call saying that a pipe came off and all that was needed to do was a simple weld. He didn't try to sell me a part nor try to give me some cock-and-bull story about needing something else. I got my car before the time he said it would be done. On the drive home, my car sounded quieter then it did before. Sheila is a manual car and I change gears by rev noises alone and I kept going over my normal RPM to switch because of how quiet it is. I'm not complaining at all. He did a fantastic job with Sheila and was honest about it. I highly recommend this business if you have any needs for your exhaust system. read more
