I would not use this company again. They are not timely or professional…read more This company wasted my time, put me in harm's way by failing to lawfully follow through on the tow service, which was required. This created unnecessary conflict. The tow operator's refusal to comply with a lawful tow directive escalated a problem scenario rather than resolving one. I called this towing company because, upon my arrival home late in the day, an unfamiliar out-of-state car was parked halfway in my yard over the curb and halfway in the street, where there were no other cars around. I called the police to my home so they could verify whether the car was stolen or not, verify the encroachment, and try to notify the suspect neighbor to ask them if they knew who owned the unfamiliar vehicle it was painted grey and the back fenders had been changed out to be white and the front fender was primered grey. The officers approached the neighbor's house and attempted to make contact with the neighbors, but no one answered the door to assist them. The officers then told me they could tag the car with a 48-hour warning to move it, or I could contact an impound tow company to have it towed, and I elected that option. As directed by the KCKS police officers, I contacted this tow comany and asked if they tow impounded, and they said yes, and would I be charged a service fee and they said no. I told them I needed a car that was parked in my yard to be towed. I gave them the police incident number and verified with them that the police had run the plates and confirmed the car was not stolen. I gave the description of the vehicle and the license plate number. They said they would be out in 45 minutes to one hour. After an hour and a half the tow operator arrived. He did not come to my door -- I did not expect him to -- yet he was not setting up to tow the car but walking around it and stoping in the back of it, and I wondered why. After a few minutes of this, I contacted the tow company and said the tow operator had arrived, but he was not doing anything, and asked should go out to talk to him. They said yes, so I did. Apparently, once the tow operator got to the car to be towed, the neighbor, seeing a tow truck, came out of their house and discussed something with the operator. I then came out of my house and walked up to the tow operator and identified myself as the property owner asked why he was not setting up to tow the car. oddly, he did not answer me. I then walked over on my proprety to talk to my neighbors, who had now come out of their house and apparently knew the owner of the vehicle as someone visiting them. I told the neighbors it was unlawfully parked in my yard, and I asked if they had a key to the vehicle so they could move it off my property. and they said no. Then everything went south; they did not tell me that they spoke with the tow operator, and they ( the neighbors and the tow operator) were waiting for the owner to return to move the car. I called 911 because the tow operator did not inform me of this and was not working with me, and I needed to make sure that the police would be able to intervene and tell the person that parked in my yard that it was unlawful, to reassure me in some way that it wouldn't happen again. and also so the police would protect me from harm because I was 1 against 5, and my neighbors were making me out to be the brunt of their aggressions. The police arrived and were able to tell the owner when he arrived, it was unlawful, although the owner continued his tirade. The owner was irate, and the neighbors were happy to hop on the bandwagon. I encouraged him and my neighbors to come to look at the car to evidence how it was parked on my property, but they didnt want to, by their unwillingness to do so and be civil, I'm guessing they already knew.
