You know what makes for a great review? A great experience! Full disclosure: I didn't call these guys, AAA engaged them on whatever local service sharing network they have going. But man, am I ever glad that Almighty Tow Service took that service call! My issue was a (mostly) flat tire, low enough that I didn't want to drive the couple miles home and fix it. My stupid tires are expensive, so why make a bad thing worse by driving on a damaged tire? But I also could not wedge all my repair needs in between cars (because parking garage), but fortunately for me, the Almighty tech was totally on the job. From the time I placed my online assistance order until the time I was back in service: 35 minutes! I was worried it would be a couple of hours to get a tow tech, assess the issue, etc., but NOPE! It took my friendly tech maybe seven minutes to remove the flat, mount the spare, and air that sucker up. Absolutely phenomenal level of service! My time is valuable and, I guess, so are my tires. Almighty made a frustrating ordeal into a pleasant experience. They communicated well, arrived promptly, and had me going in no time. Cannot recommend Almighty Tow Service any higher than five stars, but they are WELL deserving of all of them. read more

I was connected to Almighty Tow through AAA. While it's never great to need a tow service, Almighty Tow is the best I have ever encountered. Frankie P. was our driver and he double checked the drop off location and helped answer all of our questions. He took the car to the dealership and dropped the key in the box, we didn't even have to follow behind. Above all else, they were extremely quick and we received service within 30 minutes of calling. I would highly recommend them if you ever need a tow! read more

I cannot rave enough about the service provided by Almighty Tow. My car needed to be towed into a repair shop, but it was a tough job, as the front wheels were locked. Dan came out and immediately recognized the need for a specific type of truck to promptly and safely transport the car. He made arrangements quickly, talking the situation over with the shop owner to coordinate. Robert arrived shortly thereafter, and he was absolutely incredible. He arrived promptly, moved the car seamlessly and quickly, and made sure to coordinate with everyone on site. However, he also brought tremendously bright energy to what was otherwise a headache of a situation. Thanks to both Robert and Dan for their amazing work today. Will absolutely bookmark this service. read more

As a AAA member, I've encountered Almighty Tow Service multiple times for roadside assistance. Although prior encounters with them have been fine, my encounter with Mike G. today prompted me to write this review. I'd been having a recurring issue with my battery dying despite it showing fine on the meter. Being a mechanic, Mike explained that due to my vehicle being newer, it tends to draw more accessory power when parked versus older models of vehicles. He recommended a deep cycle battery, which I purchased, and I haven't had any problems since then. Mike's knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond to educate a customer helped me solve the problem for good versus just giving me a jump like others had done. Would highly recommend Mike at Almighty Tow! read more

Called AAA to help me with a flat. They sent Ron from this company. Something was wrong with the bolt holding my spare in the trunk, so he gave me a tow to a tire place in my neighborhood (tow covered by AAA!). He was just incredibly kind and professional. We had a nice conversation on the way to drop off my car. From his talk about the office folks, it sounds like everyone at this place is thoughtful and helpful. read more

Phillip arrived via AAA request to start a dead battery. The battery was VERY dead. We had difficulties initially starting but Phillip was very diligent and persistent and got it to turn over. Thanks Phillip. read more

Extremely happy with Almighty Tow! They came to my office when I had a dead battery. And QUICKLY. The service on the phone when I called was great, the young woman told me what to expect, that the driver would likely leave in under 30 minutes, then call me about 10 minutes out, and exactly those things happened. Will, the driver, was great. He was easy to work with, friendly, and efficient. We directed him to the vehicle, and boom less than 5 minutes later we're back in business. Fast service, efficient, friendly, and reasonably priced. Extremely happy with Almighty Tow and will definitely use them again. read more

Almighty tow had to take my classic '57 CHEVY BelAir out of my garage & tow it in for service. Ron took such expert care off the car. He was such an expert in unloading it at the repair shop and rolling it in between two cars! Great job! Highly recommend his tow company! read more

I called them to change a tire. They told me it would be 15 minutes and the guy was finishing with someone else and would be on the way. I was on the side of 435 in the heat. 45 minutes later I called again. Said they would be there in 20 minutes because a guy was finishing up with someone else. I told them they said that before and he still hadn't showed up. Called someone else. They were there in 15 minutes, changed my tire, and I was on the road. Almighty never showed up! Don't use them!!! read more

Theyre fine if there isnt a flake of snow. Called at 10 a.m promised 830 pm then 15-20 minutes then 930. We called the driver and he refused to pick up his phone, then picked it up for three seconds before hanging it up. No one was any help. They are a contractor with AAA. Aaa agent was belligerent obstinate and rude. They struck out in every aspect. Looking for reimbursement and an alternative. read more

Someone lost their tire on the highway and unfortunately I found it. I was on 435E and cars where going by at 80mph not getting over. Bronco came to the rescue! My daughter showed up shortly after he had my car ready to tow and he took the time to make sure I got in to her car safely! He was very nice and helped to make me feel safe. I would absolutely choose Almight Tow to help me or my children in the future! Bronco went above and beyond to make sure that my safety was priority! I needed someone to tow a classic 1950 Special Deluxe to the shop and then DMV for an inspection since it was not quite road ready. Almighty Tow took care of it and went out of their way to make it painless, fast and easy. Very happy using them again for a unique need, the flat bed tow driver was able to get in my parking area, pickup the car and deliver it with no problems. read more

The tow was fine, but I'll never call Almighty. And, remarkably, they blocked my car into place, requiring the towing (!) of two cars for me to get out. These cars had to be towed into place to block me in as they weren't driveable cars. Just hard to imagine that kind of disregard. But even that isn't my beef. Just check your bill when you get checked out. You'll see that if your car is on the lot for 62 hours (as it was in my case) you'll be charged for 4 days of storage. That works out to a little over 2 and a half days, but they charge for "calendar dates." You will be charged "one day" for any period of time before midnight the day of arrival then after midnight the day you take the car! I could understand them charging per day "or portion thereof," but this is simple gouging. You can see why I'm not a fan. read more

I pay for a AAA membership and they dispatched one of the drivers from almighty tow to come assist me. The driver had no idea how to get to where I'm located even though it's off a major highway. He was extremely rude when he called me to tell me that he can't get to where I am from where he was located. DO THE PEOPLE WHO DRIVE FOR A LIVING NOT HAVE A FUCKING MAP???? Never again will I have anything to do with this shitty company. read more

Almighty Tow was dispatched thru AAA for a battery or possibly a starter issue I had on an extremely cold, 9 degree morning. Phillip was the technician and he was very professional and knowledgeable in assessing that the issue was the battery and not the starter. Definitely rate him and company 5 stars! read more

I needed a short tow (about 2 miles) from point A to point B. Called them and they were polite and courteous on the phone, the wait was about 1 hour from the time I called. The driver was on time and towed me w/o problems to my destination. Almighty is a city-approved tow operator in KCMO and won't rip you off. My car was towed by Almighty tow this past weekend after an accident. I went to obtain my belongings from the car today, my first impression of the office was that it was a bit strange that their office is in the same office as Maaco, and there is nothing directing you to the correct desk. The woman at the desk had no document of my car being at their lot, but another employee walking through confirmed it was in the lot. She sent me around back alone, and without keys (which at this point I had requested). My car was unlocked, window rolled down and absolutely drenched since it had been raining throughout the night. I again requested my keys from another employee working in the shop and he told me I had to walk back around to the front. At that time, the woman told me she did not have my keys and the police probably still had them. I explained that I witnessed the passing off of keys. She called someone, and after several minutes explained that the person who towed my car still had my keys (2 days later)! I requested that I have some plastic to cover the window, it was going to rain again but she assured me he was on the way with the keys. I'm sure my car is still sitting there with the window down in the rain:-( Very unorganized and disinterested in doing the right thing for the customer. read more

You might get lucky, or you might end up with damaged property that the company refuses to take responsibility for. Go on... Roll the dice!

Logan was amazing. Costco f*%#ed up my car when they were putting on tires and broke the bolts off. Costco insisted on getting it towed. Logan called the Costco techs out and told them it was their fault. So grateful for honest people in this world. read more

Bryan helped us out tonight. He was very courteous, quick, and respectful. He is one of the best employees you have!

I called for a flat bed tow truck and was told it would take about an hour and a half. Given it was rush hour, I wasn't surprised. After an hour and a half, I called the driver (Joe) back asking if he was close. I was told fifteen minutes. After another forty-five minutes passed, the driver stopped answering my calls so I called dispatch directly...who told me my tow request had been canceled. After more than two and a half hours of waiting, I was stuck by the side of the road and forced to call another company. Unless you enjoy waiting on the side of the road, I HIGHLY recommend you call another company read more
