Laser tow has been called by more than one person to please remove their flat bed tow truck off of our street on Glenwood and 83rd. They are doing business off of our street here in Kansas when their company is in Missouri. The truck is a hazard for anyone rounding the corner And you have to watch several people swerve to not slam into the back of it. The truck has no reflectors at all, making it even more dangerous. When they park it farther down the street overnight. It's very dark and people are still swerving because they don't see it in time. This is disrespectful. They said that the tow truck operator lives near that street and the only reason it was parked there for the first day was because that operator was home sick and then it would be gone the next day. When they do start the truck up, they zoom down our street and the speed limit is only 25 mph. read more

While bicycling in Lenexa yesterday afternoon I had a close encounter with a Lazer-Pipes tow truck. Too close. The driver was on his phone, texting. I caught up with the truck at the next red light and yelled to the driver to get off his phone. His response was a tirade of expletives that went on until the light turned green. He obviously has some anger issues in addition to not being very bright. It's just not very smart to be an a-hole in traffic while driving a truck with your employer's name emblazoned on the doors. He's out there not able to see through the car, can't get his thing to work, so he just leaves cause he can't do his job. NEVER have I ever had this problem. my car was stolen and the police had found it and gotten it towed by this company but the company didn't call the night they gotten it. they had waited 1 week to tell me that they had it. When i called they told me that the had it since 09/06/2023 it it was going to be $150 to get my things out of the vehicle, they wouldn't tell my the condition of the car until my sister curse them out and yeah, so they basically waited for the price to go up $50 everyday it was in there which made it $250 to get it out, to call and let me know they had it. the police waited to tell me the same thing. I will be contacting my lawyer as soon as possible. the price to get it out is now about $500 plus getting it towed. read more

While pulling onto i35 south in Kansas City, Kansas, truck number 112 decided not to yield to us and instead accelerated to get in front of our car, making us have to veer off the road while at a high speed on the on-ramp. I had my whole family (3 kids, wife, and dog) in the car. When I called the company to complain, they acted ignorant, never apologized for their driver's recklessness, and only said they would "talk to the driver," which I highly doubt they will. OMG! This place sucks! Got locked outta my car so I called my insurance company for roadside assistance. They set me up with this company saying they would arrive in 90 minutes. I get that no one is typically going to be pleased with a tow company. But generally, you expect a business to be run with even the slightest bit of professionalism, right? Apparently this company hasn't even the slightest concern with their image as a company. The woman that works in their office had the nerve to call me an idiot, and their drivers did not even have the decency to listen to me when I was trying to give them money. They completely ignored me and stood next to me, smoking, wasting their time, and obviously mine. I've seen some pretty slimy companies in my time - this has to be one of the worst. read more

I have never had a worse experience with professionalism and work ethic. Joe in truck 086 on july3rd came out to get keys out of my car. And tried for maybe 2min at best before he decided my seats were pressure seats before he called in and tried to get any info on the car. From there all he could do was say the car is fully loaded and who knows what the Japanese would do. While we were waiting he was making jokes about how the keys missed the bag. His words were maybe you'll play basketball better. When you are out on a call the last thing you should do is criticize the client. He called in to have another truck come out. While he was waiting for the other truck to come out he stood around doing nothing. Then Billy in truck 408 showed up jokes were made about him having a bigger member and better tool for the job. There was no mistaking they were making reference to the male anatomywith my wife standing right there. Billy other than making a crude joke was quick and did his job rather than stand around and make fun of the client. read more

My battery needed a jump start. I called my insurance company, which in turn called Lazer Tow Service to jump start my car. Technician showed up, and unfortunately he has charged the battery incorrectly. He put positive to negative, negative to positive, and tried jump start the car. Car immediately made huge alarming noises multiple times. He tried one more time keeping incorrect positions. Car made noises again. He realized his mistake later and put positive to positive , and negative to negative again. Since he did this incorrectly, it shot my car, and caused great damage. My car wouldn't start now,and who knows how much of electronics got fired. Honestly, I am deeply disappointed that a pro can do such a rookie mistake. I hope Lazer Tow Service takes this seriously and make sure that this will not happen in future for other customers. I have informed my insurance company, and hopefully Lazertow and Geico will resolve fixing the car with least inconvenience and damage to me further.
