Troy was perfect at reassuring the process, as well as explaining the process. His Team at Dales Collision helped me make sure I had all of my things and even taking the license plate just in case it was totaled. The team (Matt, John, Dean and all others would talk and give me updates on the progress. When I picked it up, Dean explained all the services and parts which were replaced. He also explained the guarantees. Tanner was friendly in bringing my car. Everyone at Dales is professional, friendly, and compassionate! Excellent work and Excellent customer service. Two stars for beating USAA in coming to tow my car and two stars for the way you did it. I was forced to use this company because of the icy road conditions were not safe for me to be on the side of the road. Speed was great but I rather also get my car up the tow bed with care too... I did not get a good look inside to see what all was broken but I do believe that they did do extra damage to my car by dragging it up and I could see my tire twist and twist in the most disturbing way. Also never was the guy concerned about anything other than his job. If it's anything but a quick and easy fix or if you're forced by hand then try avoiding this company. read more

One of our company cars was broke down in South Olathe and our office manager was a little freaked out that she was stuck without anyone she knew. She called around and got a hold of Dales Tow Service who promised they would have a truck right out to help. The driver showed up in less than 10 minutes, figured out the battery cable was loose and got her back on the road quickly. They treated her right, were fast and they took payment via credit card which made it easy. Late afternoon on Mother's Day and my front passenger tire is destroyed. Just moved to the area. Due to a lost key fob, we had to have our car towed to the local dealership for programming. The fun part was the wind chill at the time was -22 degrees. Even though our situation was not an emergency, the tow truck arrived super fast. Our Charger was hoisted up on their flat bed with ease, the driver took extra time in the frozen tundra to make sure the car was secured perfectly for transport. Every Towing Service has one job ... it's in their name "service" ... as in customer service. Dale's may have "service" in their name -- but apparently not in their employee training. Exorbitant fees are nothing compared to employee ineptitude. Dealing with them proved more hazardous than the accident. I can't say enough nice things about this company. They were completely professional, courteous, and efficient, & I considered it reasonably priced! They took care of EVERYTHING! Backstory: I bought a new car and needed the old trade-in P.O.S. towed in. I scheduled a tow with "Tim" from ASAP Tow who never arrived or answered their phone. The next company I scheduled a tow with, Recovery Tow--surprisingly--also never showed up. Every time they answered their phone they told me "About one more hour. I'm just waiting on a guy to show-up," or "You'll get the next guy." That happened for about five hours! I called this company after reaching out for quotes on Yelp, and asked to schedule a tow (it was about 7:00 pm at this time) as I did not think I could possible have the old crappy car towed and delivered before the dealership closed at 8:00 pm. Not only did Dale's Tow Service reach out directly to the dealership to organize a possible after-hours drop-off, they were completely understanding of my anxiety about if they were going to follow-through. Everyone who was apart of this process with me was nice, understanding, and friendly. I was misquoted the price and they even honored the misinformation! From the woman on the phone who spoke clearly and directly, to the man who showed up at my door (professionally dressed in a clean uniform--something I have NEVER seen from a tow-truck driver before) every step along the way they made me smile bigger and bigger until I was grinning from ear-to-ear! If I could do a 0 I would. So typical tire blowout over a pothole. Only going about 30 in a residential area. I phone Volvo OnCall and they send out Dale's Tow service. The driver showed up in about 30 minutes...not bad I thought! He proceeds to remove the lugs and get the car jacked up....then the wife phones while he is working and he tells her he is on his last call. He then is unable to get the tire off....I suggest a rubber mallet...surely you would have one on your flat bed in one of the 6 containers on that beast...NOPE. He then says well sir, I can't get the tire off you have two choices A) Leave the care here or B) Call another tow truck. To which I responded can't you tow me to the dealership on YOUR flat bed that is exactly 6 feet behind my car? By know I have been outside in 35 degree weather with this guy for 1.5 hours. He responds to my inquiry with "It is against the Dept. of Trans. rules for me to stay on this service call any longer" Me being an attorney inquired which rule is that?...No Answer as he starts packing up his tools. So I phone back Volvo OnCall and they ask to speak to him. They inquire as to why he is leaving and for him to hold while they get a supervisor on the phone...he just exits the car (I was on Blutetooth) and continues packing up. I then call his dispatch and she informs me that he shouldn't be leaving you and there is not DOT rule like that. She is extremely nice and apolgizes and says she is going to call him on his phone and tell him to tow my car to the dealership. By then he is climbing in his truck and just pulls away into the night....leaving me there on the road with my donut on the street and other jack tools strewn in the back of the car. Yep....just left me out in the cold....A Tow Truck Driver refused to tow a car. The dispatcher calls back and gets another of their drivers out there who was amazing and 3.5 hours later I was home with the donut on the car....yea new guy had a mallet and popped off the tire. I will refrain at this point to name the driver but may in a follow up post. read more

Wish my experience was as good as Robert's. My car would not shift out of park yesterday, so I needed to have it towed to the dealership. The dealership recommended Dale's Tow service. The driver said he would meet us at our car in one hour. It took him 2 1/2 hrs to show up! Will not be calling this tow company in the future. read more
