They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It was such a sad situation. However, they remain closed during Covid as dictated by state law, and even had all of their hairstylist agree in writing to not do haircuts, even at home or in the garage for friends and family. They even compensated people to hang in there, and their people did I've been a customer there, obviously, since before Covid And returned immediately upon their reopening. The salon is very stylish, always spotless with a big team of Holly Professional stylists. The ownership is amazing! Always going out of the way to accommodate customers. It is not uncommon to see at least one of the owners on the desk, taking calls, make an appointment and greeting people. That's a very hard thing to find these days. currently, I'm at home in a wheelchair recovering from a stroke. I made one phone call to the salon and asked about "accommodations" so I can get my haircut and stop looking like a homeless guy on the street! Lol they immediately began to offer options for me to come into the salon and apply those accommodations to make sure that I had excellent service, that I will be safe while on the property transitioning from wheelchair to shampoo station to the stylist station, etc. They did so without a fraction of hesitation . Ashley was 10 minutes late to the 10am appointment which was the first of the day. She entered the room without introducing herself and was gruff. I didn't even know her name until I saw it in other reviews! As she went about washing and brushing my hair out, she was very rough, yanking through tangles without concern. When I yipped a bit she lamented about my "sensitive scalp" but did not soften her touch or change her approach. She cut my hair okay, however, it was no different than the inexpensive cuts I receive from the common walk-in salons. She proceeded to do the straightening process and was again a bit rough to my taste. Afterward she provided recommendations on care and hair products (which I had to go to Ulta for because she doesn't carry them there). She completed the appointment on time. Upon checkout she notified me that she had given me a 20% discount on the cut, though I had been under the impression that the cut was included with a keratin process. This may have been my misunderstanding. She charged $100 an hour for the keratin process. She does not take checks, and when I went to check out on her phone credit card app it automatically assumed I wanted to give her a 23% tip! There were two other options of 18% and 20% that you could change it to. If you don't like those options you have to manually edit the charge amounts. Just fyi. I was not completely happy with this experience. My hair is still as curly as it was before and I still have to use the straightening iron daily. I followed instructions to the letter on washing and products. As a working parent who rarely gets time to pamper myself, I was looking forward to a soothing and pampering appointment. Unfortunately that was not my experience with this salon.
