I had a really positive experience with Dr. Javaherian. From the first visit she was professional, patient, and took the time to actually listen to my concerns instead of rushing through the appointment. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my options which I really appreciated. It's not always easy to find a doctor who combines knowledge with good bedside manner but Dr J does that exactly. This office is legitimately a front for some kind of scams ghost office or something. My gf had an appointment on Monday where she was given a prescription that was supposed to be ready by "end of day". She went to the pharmacy and nothing had been delivered by WEDNESDAY. We called the doctor office non stop and they didn't answer but kept redirecting us to leave a voicemail but the voicemail box is full. We then just went into the office and spoke with the front office who alerted us that the doctor is only in on mondays and that there is NO DOCTOR THERE. My gf urgently needed her prescription as she ran out on Wednesday morning and the front desk lady advised us to wait until the doctor is in again on Monday so they can send the prescription out again. Idk what type of doctor's office doesn't have a doctor in on ANY DAY EXCEPT MONDAY. Sounds like some tax scam thing were they just have the worse human beings that exist on earth sitting at a desk not answering the phone until you come in and say something. I feel so cared for and safe in Dr. Javaherian's hands. She is always on top of my healthcare and has caught 6 growths in my breasts that I had no clue were there and when I told her I was feeling really tired, she did blood work and explained in my ethnic group we factually lack the proper Vitamin D, lo and behold, I was very low in vitmamin D. I began taking the 50,000IU's and my thinning hair and exhaustian faded away. It was quite a noticeable dfference. Another time, she was looking at my foot as I had on sandals to which I thought she was admiring my pedicure. No, she discovered that what I thought was a callus was a fungal infection. She prescribed cream...I used it and eventually my "new callus forming" aka the actual fungal infection went away! I've had a few emergencies and she has always been very, very helpful and available to my specialists to coordinate care! She has a lady at the front desk who is also on top of things and very aware when I have surgeries and helps with scheduling and follow-up care. Dr. Javaherian is VERY THOROUGH and I feel very cared for and appreciate her indepth knowledge. She is very efficient and clearly has a gift in practicing medicine aka she's great at it. She just happens to be gorgeous, but is also a braniac, clearly! I strongly recommend this doctor to anyone looking for an attentive doctor. read more

Dr. Jasmin Javaherian is amazing. She genuinely listens, takes her time, and makes you feel completely comfortable and cared for. I never feel rushed, and she always explains things clearly. While Dr. Javaherian was very nice to meet in person for my check-up, her office is incredibly difficult to get in touch with. Whenever I call, more often times than not, I am directed to her voicemail which is full. There have also been times when I am asked to be put "on a brief hold" only to be left on hold for 15+ minutes. This makes it extremely stressful and frustrating when obtaining prescription refills. This was my worst experience with a dr. After two months of asking for a prior authorization they put one in for Dexcom 7 not a Dexcom 6 fully knowing that was the wrong perscription to cover their ass. Them the staff tried to lie to me and say they tried to put the prior authorization four times only to realize that I called medical and know that is a bold faced lie. Now I am making it my mission to report her on every physician review and the health association. This office's front staff is appalling. Apparently they only have 1 line, there is no other way to get in contact with the Dr or the office. If the staff answers the call at all they immediately put you on hold, I've waiting a total of 30 minutes on hold from one phone call. The Md came in, wrote a Xanax prescription, didn't discuss side affects or risk factors to my client's health, barely made eye contact, gave us her back the whole time and walked out in under a minute. Super unprofessional. When she came in for my first appointment, she was just wearing street clothes carrying an iced coffee and acted as if our appointment was an inconvenience to her. I have no issue with doctors being casual, but I felt like she completely disrespected me, she interrupted me several times and made me feel like everything I had been experiencing was in my head. I actually preferred her assistant and wish she could have been my PCP instead. I've been trying to diagnose something for years now that has been greatly effecting the quality of my life. I switched to Jasmin as my last primary care provider dropped off the face of the earth, which means I had to go back to the drawing board and get a whole new set of referrals. So far the treatment I have gotten from Preferred IPA-Valley Presbyterian has been very disappointing. I am in the middle of trying to get a new PCP as we speak. read more

I wish I could give 0 to this review. The Sun Valley office is a mess starting with front desk! Horrible customer service , the staff think they're in a park having conversations instead of helping patients. The MD doesn't even stay in the room for one minute to see you . Takes forever to get you in and you don't even see the dr. To ask questions or get your answers. The only reason I still stayed was because of Dr. Talin, but she's no longer working there. Dr Jasmine Javaherian in my opinion, is a terrible doctor. Her bedside manner is atrocious. I have a condition called fibromyalgia and it has different symptoms one of them is severe pain. I was in her office today in one of the rooms and while she was writing her notes I accidentally passed gas and I told her because I didn't want her to smell it and feel yucky. She said to me that she can't be around that kind of circumstance and she stalked out of the room and went to attend another patient without telling me and had me wait for and additional 20 minutes. When she came back, I was trying to keep light and be funny and I said "well, you're not going to catch the germs of a fart" she turned around and looked at me with such anger and she said you are so rude for passing gas. I looked at her incredulously. I told her it was an accident for some reason with my body right now is passing gas very easily and can't control it. She told me, you need to find another doctor. I told her fine and I said I would appreciate my referrals. She said I'm not going to give you your referrals or your refills on your medication. I was stunned. She is unbelievable! Not only does she have a horrific bedside manner, she is rude, harsh always in a hurry doesn't have time for me or from what I heard her other patients but this is only hearsay though. I can only speak for myself. She also never wears a white doctor's coat but wears a low-cut top with a tight skirt and very high heels. She looks more like someone going to a club then being a doctor. I would say something more harsh but I will keep it to myself but I think you know what I mean when I say what she looks like. It's completely inappropriate. Her office is disorganized and frankly it seems like she doesn't care about her patients or at least that's how I feel about myself. I feel like she got her degree and just did it because it makes lots of money but there's no caring about the patient. I made a complaint about her to LA Care the umbrella organization that covers me with my insurance and I'm making a complaint now. I wouldn't recommend her if it was Armageddon and she was the last doctor on Earth. read more

I can NOT tell you more about her Great attitude, professionalism, punctuality, caring, on service I received from her on a recent visit for a pre-op she went above & beyond to take care of me as quickly as possible, her stuff were very nice and polite as well. It really sucks that I dont live in Socal anymore otherwise I would have had her as my family doctor. I highly recommend her and trully appriciate the service I got followed by a personal phone call during a weekend telling me she okeyed my surgery and her concerns on my blood test. Good job Dr. Javaherian, keep up the good work Dr.s like you are very hard to find. I asked my brother to come and see you for a check up once he gets his new insurance card. The Sun Valley office staff is a joke. I had to wait 50 minutes for them to fax over a form to my doctors office when they said it would only take 30. After calling in to check up on my fax they still hadn't sent it over. I called back another 15 minutes later to check up and they were not picking up my call. When I finally got through it seemed like they just answered the phone so it could stop ringing and left the phone on the table. I could hear them chatting in the background and had the radio playing but they would not come to the phone. After I hung up and had to harass them for another 5 minutes they finally sent the fax. They are very unprofessional here, they don't seem like they care nor know what they are doing. I am switching as soon as I can. Just the most awful front desk girls from any establishment I have ever been to. They are so lazy and incompetent. The doctors and nurses were helpful though, I wish they would find a better office staff. read more

Dr. Javaherian's office is terrible. She keeps you waiting for a minimum of an hour after your appointment time started, usually much longer, while she takes time to meet with pharmaceutical reps instead of her patients. Her own staff admitted that this bothered them about Dr. Javaherian also. Every single time I visit her Encino office, this is my experience. When Dr. Javaherian finally meets with me, our face-time lasts under five minutes and she writes whatever prescription or referral I ask for without asking relevant questions or engaging in critical thinking about whether what I ask for is right for me...I'm not a doctor--she is. Dr. Javaherian does not seem to care about my time or well-being and she's my primary care physician...I'm sure she treats me the same as her other patients because I see them waiting restlessly in the waiting room with me. Dr. Javaherian makes me eager to switch back to a PPO during open season so that I can see a quality physician again who cares more about patient care than pharmaceutical kick-backs. read more

Exceptional and outstanding physician a rare kind in today's world she calls me after hours to tell me about lab results or MRI results (no I am not dying that's her norm) I completely forgot this kind of personal communication between the patient and the doctor I thought it's something of the old and gold past age but she still does that to her patients she gives her personal support and fights for her patients with the insurance something I didn't experience in years. HORRIBLE Doctor. Blatant profiteering and false advertising. Charged me $70 to certify 2 pages of DISABILITY paperwork, and wouldn't even validate my parking. Rolled her eyes at me and rushed me through my appointment. Didn't even review my case, just denied me prescription refills and told me I had to wait to see another specialist. She seemed more concerned with the 4 sales reps she allowed to clog the waiting area and the money she can make off of injectables than helping a patient in need. Horrible Doctor. Doesn't care about patients. Refuses to listen. She is a quack.I had blood work done and tells me my liver is inflamed, she automatically blamed it on my weight without further testing or observation. She suggested that I take weight loss pills. I told her i'm not comfortable with taking pills for weight loss. She immediately dismissed me and stated she cannot help me. I waited for over an hour, once she came into the room she stayed for less than two minutes. I'm outraged. i'm sent home knowing i have an inflamed liver, but with no course of action. read more

I really don't know if I can call her a doctor. She gives you service based on your type of insurance. First time we visited her office as soon as she walked to the room she mentioned that she is getting paid only $35-$45 for each visit from our insurance so she has only 10 minutes to spend on us. She wrote us a blood exam and after the result no one called us and I was the only one following until the very nice, professional and caring lady named Keith help me to get the result over the phone and schedule another visit with the doctor. Second visit she walks in and tell my husband that he is in critical condition and he needs to start the treatment and we need to go under a strict diet. When my husband asks her what kind of diet he needs to follow she offers the $2,500.00 plan that needs to be bought from her. My husband had also some x-rays and ultrasounds that the doctor was too busy selling us her money maker plan so she forgot to even mention the results to us. On the same day we paid cash (personal Check) to their office to have another blood drown. We never heard of them any more for a month and when I called after a month with my husband having trouble with one side of his entire body, she informs me that she is going to vacation by end of the day and she cannot do anything until she is back. She also gives me permission to take my husband to emergency room if he had any stroke. She has opened a business to make MONEY and ONLY money. She is careless about any kind of patient care.
