This clinic does not have your best interest in mind. I provided my insurance card to them prior to…read moremy appointment for a mole to be checked and they confirmed the total cost of the service, which I indeed paid the day I went in. They had intentionally refrained from telling me that the cost is different for out of network patients and I received an additional, surprise bill from them for much more than the initial payment weeks later. If they didn't know what the total cost would be at the time that I called in to check prior to the appointment due to me being out of network, they should have at least told me that, rather than telling me my total cost is some untruthful $ amount. Their front desk is also rude and needs to be micro-managed by patients for anything to get done, such as transferring medical records from my previous doctor. Nidia constantly called me "honey" in a condescending, sarcastic tone in my communications with her. I have seen a number of other dermatologists in the past and have never felt this level of distrust or disrespect with a practice before. I miss my former dermatologist who recently retired. I'm going to switch to telehealth for my dermatology needs. The pricing is much more upfront and clear. I can have a video call with the dermatologist or send them photos of my condition to receive a bespoke diagnosis, just like in-person visits. I can also still communicate with the dermatologist for up to 1-2 weeks after my appointment via chat which is great. I don't work in telehealth and I usually don't promote things. I'm just tired of dealing with unclear costs and an unhelpful front desk.

Dr. Stephanie Martin has been my dermatologist for years and I literally trust her with my face!…read more She's performed three four Mohs surgeries on me, and each time they've healed quickly, cleanly, painlessly, with little or no scarring. Most recently I had skin cancer on my nose--naturally I was concerned--would surgery change how I looked? Dr. Martin's website shows a number of before and after images of just this kind of facial surgery and the results are always superb. In my case, she was so skilled that I didn't feel anything and the surgery was done literally before I knew it. No swelling. No pain. When the stitches were removed a week later, my nose looked normal again. Her staff is friendly, professional and efficient. I wouldn't think of going to any other dermatologist! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I wouldn't call the doctor particularly friendly or caring. This place is like a factory. I was already on the fence about moving on then when they called to cancel at the last minute yet again, that was the last straw. No respect or consideration for your time. I wouldn't recommend this practitioner. Update: it's amazing how responsive this office is when they want to preserve optics! This had nothing to do with a baby AND it was not the first time an appointment was cancelled at the last minute. Do better and respect your patients and you won't have to navigate reviews like this!

This review is strictly about the front office staff and not Dr. Ava Khosraviani, whom I found to be professional. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30 AM (March 12). When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk to check me in. Another staff member behind the desk glanced at me twice but never acknowledged me. After waiting at the desk for a while, I finally let her know I'd be sitting down and asked her to inform the front desk receptionist that I was there to check in. Her response? "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you had been checked in." This was strange considering there were only two people in the waiting room--myself and another woman. For context, she had blonde hair, and I have braids. Once I was finally checked in, my appointment itself went fairly smoothly. Mica was kind, and Dr. Khosraviani was quick, yet confident in her approach. I felt comfortable with my appointment. I then stopped at the front desk to make my co-payment, but also remembered I had another question for the doctor, and the staff kindly took me back in. This is where the experience took another unpleasant turn. As my husband and I were walking out after my second visit, the same staff member who initially ignored me, chased me outside to tell me that I had "forgotten to pay." Confused--since I had already paid--I went back inside, only for the front desk attendant to confirm that, yes, I had paid. This interaction was UNNECESSARY, EMBARRASSING, and POORLY handled in front of the other patients who were now waiting to be seen. I truly wish my experience had been different because Dr. Khosraviani was great, but the front desk staff--specifically the woman who delayed checking me upon arrival--could benefit from better training on professionalism and patient interactions.
