I love about an hour away from Park City but on occasion I'll drive down just so we can grab ice cream and nick nacks from Java Cow! This place is Cow themed and it's adorable. I love the Olympic memorabilia it has! I was in the second grade when it took place so I don't remember a whole lot, but I love that it's so nostalgic! They have really good, fun flavored ice cream, and a wide variety! This isn't a place you want to pass up! Make sure to look up at the air vents when you get there. Thank me later. ;) read more

Love the honey lavender ice cream. Not too creamy nor sweet. The kiddy size was just perfect for me after dinner. The shop does gets busy though, expect a little bit of wait. I also tasted coffee. It was super good coming from a coffee addict. If I come back I would be getting the coffee ice cream or even a milkshake. Definitely try this place!! read more

I got a chocolate shake here this afternoon Jan 2nd 2021, it was all milk, you could barely taste any chocolate. $9.00 for a 16oz glass of milk. I'll stick with Häagen-Dazs for the rest of my trip. read more

Surprised to see there is not a coffee scene in Park City. After walking around and stumbling to other coffee shops that were either tiny or closed for repairs there was no other option but to go inside Java Cow. Their Cappuccino left a lot to desire; there was a lot of foam, no pretty art, and was served in a disposable cup. read more

My husband said the chocolateice cream was okay. They are not accommodating for food allergies. So I didn't feel it was safe for me to order anything. Very disappointed. Also during busy dinner rush they closed the majority of their seating. read more

Follow the smell of fresh waffles .... Fresh baked waffle cone. Omg yes. Great variety of flavors for every person. Dairy free options. One scoop is plenty especially after a meal and lots of walking around Park City. And if someone doesn't want ice cream they have lots of coffee options. read more

Trendy shop for my 8 year old to find some ice cream and fun trinkets. I love that fancy coffee is available too. Small tables to sit and enjoy your "fuel." At least a dozen or more flavors to choose, and they let my kiddo sample some spoons too. Waffle cones and coffee aroma permeated the air. One Scoop adequately shared by my 8 year old and me. It was HOT outside, so it was nice to cool off and get caffeinated. Buy some caramel, mocha, and munchies. read more

Oh. My. Goodness!!! So good!!! The decaf drip coffee was OUTSTANDING! Smooth but bold and flavorful. I also had the Body Builder açaí bowl and it was PHENOMENAL! So yummy. I am going back again tomorrow! The service was good. I love that they take Apple Pay too. We also our used Fourth of July sugar cookies but I haven't tasted those yet. read more

The ice cream and waffle cones at Java Cow were outstanding! So creamy and fresh. There is usually a line and it was totally worth the wait! The staff was so nice and let us try multiple flavors. They were also very quick once you placed your order. I was sad though because I am a big fan of "fruity" flavors and they were out of the both the mango and strawberry. I ended up getting their honey lavender- very different but very good. The cones were freshly made and probably the best waffle cones I've ever had! I high recommend ditching the cup option and getting your ice cream on a their waffle cone (they have so many different options too). Next time I am in the area, I'll be stopping by for some ice cream. read more

This place definitely lives up to its name when you think of "Cow Creamery" because everything here is super super rich. I didn't get any of their coffees here and I wanted to get a crepe but didn't see it on the menu despite them having crepe machines... so I went for a sampling of their ice creams before selecting a nice delicious waffle cone. They also offer fruit smoothies which are all fruit and no dairy for those of you who are lactose intolerant! They didn't really give me any gripes about sampling more than 1 ice cream flavor, in fact, I sampled 3. But then again I already ordered the smoothie.... either way. The staff was friendly and I liked my ice cream very much. I highly recommend the oreo cookies and cream. YUM! read more

1) Don't mix politics with business. I am surprised that the owners of this business, especially in a town with 80% tourism during the winter, including international customers, wouldn't take into consideration that people of different political views. Purchasing mints that criticize our president and then selling them to customers? Really? You've definitely made your statement. And I'm not even politically associated but as a member of the military, having something like that that criticizes my boss is unacceptable for a business. Keep your political views to yourself. 2) $3.21 (that's without tax) for the smallest scoop of ice cream I've ever seen. I bought it for my daughter and she's only 2 and it was even too small for her. Ridiculous prices. I have supported Java Cow many times but today will be the last. Ice cream was nothing special and very expensive for not a large portion. Was there Saturday and the two girls behind the counter were extremely rude to the family in front of me who didn't realize samples weren't given (which is ridiculous to me when you're paying that much). They then turned to each other and bad-mouthed the family in Spanish. I understood every word and was extremely upset by their lack of professionalism and decency. Would not go back read more

Adorable setting. Will find something for everyone from ice cream, coffee, and crepes to breakfast sandwiches and pastries, not to mention lots of little keepsakes and toys to look at while waiting. Many different ice cream flavors. Milkshake wasn't very sweet but perhaps using a different chocolate syrup. Ice cream texture was smoother, like custard. The ice cream is delicious! Creamy, flavorful, and full of interesting ingredients, this is the ice cream I crave on a hot day. The single scoop is about $4.50 & it is a generously sized scoop. Add a few cents and you can upgrade to a waffle cone or a waffle dipped cone (highly recommended!), both of which are made in house. They have over 20 different flavors, including chocolate based, vanilla based, fruit based, and even coconut milk based flavors. I tried the Zowy Cowy (vanilla ice cream with Heath bar, dark chocolate chunks, & a caramel ribbon) & it was very rich and wonderful. In the end I went with the banana ice cream with Reese's chunks because hardly do i ever find good banana ice cream. You know, ice cream made with real bananas, not artificial flavoring, so it's a hint if gray & not bright yellow. This banana ice cream flavor is legit! The line was fairly long when we arrived & remained long when we left, but they still allow you to sample flavors & serve you quickly with a smile. I ordered a double scoop - one with pistachio. The other scoop was pralines and cream. My daughter had a kiddie cup of strawberry banana sorbet. She said it was the right ratio of strawberry and banana (a little more banana than strawberry because she think strawberry is a little more flavorful than banana). My wife had a dark chocolate chips with caramel and brownie pieces. I thought my ice cream was good - just like most private places that make their own ice cream. I'm having a hard time deciding between a 3 or 4 star rating. It's really a 3.5 for me, but I'm giving it a 4 star because my daughter loved the decor of the store. I went to Java Cow to get ice cream with my family. While I was speaking to my sister, I used profanity. No kids were present. The scooper loudly and publicly, in front of more than 20 customers, told me, "Whoa, ma'am, watch your language!" After being publicly shamed and embarrassed, I left without ice cream. The same scooper then proceeded to say shit in front of everyone, including my family, after I left. None of my family enjoyed their ice cream, beyond average for the price, so needless to say none of us will be going back. read more

This place is great! Had a hot Latte in the morning which was very creamy and foamy, incredibly tasty. We went back for ice cream in the afternoon after trying a taste in the morning. They boast all natural ingredients, and the flavors are amazing. I had a double scoop of Butterfinger crunch and Vermont Maple Syrup. The flavors were very smooth and subtle, even the cotton candy flavor. I always get hot chocolate from here whenever I visit Park City. I've been getting it for several years now, and it's so good. Their chocolate dessert is also yummy!! The only thing that fluctuates is the customer service. Sometimes, when we come in, we'll have someone greet us and be ready at the register. Other times, they'll be in the little nook and be on their phones and not acknowledge us. We were loud enough for them to know someone was there, but after finally calling for someone, they didn't seem too happy to help us. We weren't even rude but felt as if we bugged them by making them come out of their nook to work? I don't get it, but not gonna let their negative vibe stop me from getting my hot choco~ read more

Whoever opened this place really loves cows. As Sofia M has pointed out in true Dr Seuss fashion they have plenty of cows here. And they have plenty of coffee, which I didn't try myself...but my dad claims is so good that "it's better than starbucks". And plenty of ice cream as well. What Java Cow doesn't have is low fat ice cream flavors, although I should note that they have vanilla and chocolate soft serve frozen yogurt. But I was looking forward to some good low fat ice cream here...instead I settled for butter pecan ice cream with fat free, sugar free hot fudge. I try not to indulge too often in real ice cream (I save the extra calories for chocolate cake), but next time I'm craving the real stuff in Park City I'll go back or at least for coffee and cow browsing. read more

Such a great spot on Main Street. I came by for breakfast during Sundance Film Festival later in my visit, and I am honestly sad I didn't know this existed earlier in the week. They have everything! I enjoyed an acai bowl and my dad had a green eggs and ham crepe. Both were really yummy. The sandwich, pastry, general food selection is so vast that there is really something for everyone. There is a cute seating area in the back, and it made for a really nice way to escape the cold. I'd love to come back to visit in a warmer time of year to try out the ice cream, too. The service all around was great. The team answered all questions I had (the acai bowl base is apple juice btw) and all in all, the fast casual dining experience was terrific. Cool little store with great hot chocolate! My wife and I walked up Main Street in the snow with our drink it was picture perfect. The only thing that kept my from leaving more stars was the customer service. We walked in and didn't receive a smile or a hello. We walked up to the counter and the employees were eating soup...i asked for a small hot chocolate she told me the price, and I gave her my card. Her giving me the price was LITERALLY the only thing that any employee said to us... I'm really big on customer service. I think it's even bigger than the quality of the drink. First time came here for hot drinks on a freezing nite for Sundance. The line was long but not too bad. I ordered a caramel macchiato with almond milk. It was undrinkable. It just left an awful after taste. The next night, we tried for the ice cream instead..that redeemed the drink experience. They had a galore of a selection. The ice cream server was super nice and replaced my ice cream when my cone broke on my attempt to eat with a spoon. No wait so that was a plus. read more

I had the Espresso Martini and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly balanced, rich, and smooth. I also tried the Bramble Barrel, which was amazing as well. The blueberry and pomegranate flavors paired so well with the gin and lemon. The lounge itself is really cozy with a stylish, living room type feel. Great lighting, comfortable seating, and overall just a really good vibe. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. While we were there we saw a cocktail class happening, which looked really fun. Definitely something I'd love to come back and try next time. Small detail, but I also loved the bathroom products. It's those little touches that make a place stand out. Overall the drinks, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. One of my favorite cocktail spots in Park City.

The coffee is were I have a bit of a issue it is very inconsistent I always get the same 12oz honey breve and it's always different sometimes it's one of the best Ive had and other times it's one of the worst coffees I've had. I also tried the matcha they have and I am particular about it was like really thick and grainy so I would say no to the matcha.

I ordered a broccoli ham soufflé thing and not only did it take 15 minutes to get, it came with the center still cold. Hopefully they can turn it around, clearly just staff issues, as the vibes are pretty good.
