We went here for breakfast on our last day in town. I regret this. Their food was delicious. I didn't even get to try any of their desserts. I was so full from breakfast I couldn't even fathom taking one to go. The restaurant is a cute little mom and pop style place. I'm assuming owned and operated by a family but I didn't ask, it just had that vibe. They were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and super polite. Dale our server was great! Super attentive, not intrusive and just a pleasure all round! The service is what really brings the rating up to 4 to be honest. We tried a couple of things amongst our group, all in all we definitely enjoyed it but a pretty consistent comment was that it was a little bit dry and lacked the sauce on the savoury waffles to compliment the waffles (which were really quite tasty!) The food is decently good and so is the service. Outdoor seating on the main road seems like a bad idea but it actually works well. My criticisms would be: *the lattes are only ok *some of the Sun umbrellas are too small for their tables *most importantly, the syrup. We are in Canada, and they have little boxes of fake maple syrup on the table??? Made from corn syrup??? Gross!!! Every time I visit Jasper I see new places to dine. What's great is that they aren't necessarily all more expensive. Jasper is still there for regular people (unlike another Rocky Mountain resort town that I could mention). This café offers all sorts of waffles and some other dishes, but mostly waffles. They offer sweet or savory so we ordered savory. My choice was the Sunrise Waffle which has two sunny side up eggs with sausage and bacon . It was quite good and reasonable at $14.95. My wife ordered the Bacon, Egg & Cheese which is a bargain at $12.95. She said that the sauce was very flavourful. We also ordered a regular coffee and, if you ask, you can have a free refill. There is a lot of outside patio seating and some, but not a lot of indoor seating. They offer free password protected WiFi. Service was prompt and friendly. Parking is on the street so that can be difficult to find on weekends but is no problem on weekdays. If you are looking for a place for breakfast or lunch you won't go wrong with Jasper's Wafflato. read more

Diner style seating with nice ambience. We were the first customers of the day and they still seemed so busy even though they only had 2 of us. Service was a bit slow but friendly. The food was very good. Only issue I have with them is the coffee they give you in a takeout cup even when you're dining in. I get the convenience part of it, but that's why they don't refill coffee. Coffee should be refillable at all restaurants. It's such a cheap product to make and the markups are out of this world, why not make me feel like I'm getting my moneys worth at least. read more

Sooooo good! I cannot say enough great things about Jasper Wafflato! The staff was very friendly and polite, the decor is nicely cohesive, and the food is AMAZING! I got the strawberry delight waffle and I and with I could have eaten 12 of them. I find waffles are usually quite dense, but this one was airy and fluffy. The whipping cream was the perfect amount of sweet, and the strawberries were delicious. My husband got one of the omelettes and said that it was one of the best omelettes he had ever eaten. I was surprised when it came to the table as I was thinking that it would just be the omelet, but it came with a nice fresh salad, chunky potato hash browns and toast! 10/10 recommend! read more

The healthy banana waffles came with caramel sauce, about half a banana, and a lot of whipped cream. I'm not sure what is meant to be healthy about it, but it looked delicious.
