    Chicken bacon ranch sandwich

We rode out here for lunch to try these "gourmet burgers with attitude," and yeah... they're not lying. We grabbed the Glazed & Confused (solid 8/10), the Smokey & The Bandit (easy 9/10), and the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich (8.5/10). All were stacked, sauced, and worth the trip. Sidewinder fries, sweet potato fries, and the okra all slapped. Special shout-out to the okra--hard fried, not soggy. That's a hill I'll die on. Already planning our next ride back. Highly recommend.

Great lunch experience. They had so many creative burger options it was tough to decide. Me and Mrs Picky spilt the regular cheeseburger with cheddar cheese. The fries were great as well as the onion rings. Sat on the patio which was perfect weather and some music. Staff was super friendly. They do have an inside dining area as well.

Delicious food at this cafe! My son recommended it to me. The cafe is pretty large for a local small business, with a patio and quite a few tables. Our server was very attentive. I loved the country western decor and the location has beautiful views. The food was great. We started with the mozzarella sticks & fried pickles. I had the Yellowjacket. The bacon is thick, burger cooked perfectly, fresh veggies, tasty bun and yummy sauce. My family each got different burgers, and all were fantastic. Thank you!

Chicken Fried steak, fried zucchini and onions, and garlic potatoes with corn pancake. YUM!!!

Great burgers! Love the different choices of meats. Not to mention all the different malts and shakes they have.

One of our favorite places to eat when in Glen Rose. Great section of sandwiches, soups and salads…read more Have tried most of menu and haven't had a bad meal yet. My personal favorite is the club sandwich. Cant leave out that have to top off every meal with cobbler and ice cream, I like the blackberry, wife likes the peach. Have a lot of books and kids play area inside. Very comfortable setting and the employees are always friendly and attentive.

Such a beautiful environment with a bookshelf wall complete with rolling ladder! And if that wasn't enough, the food is great! Fresh squeezed lemonade! Not too sweet, not too tart. The most perfect lemonade I've had since I was a kid. I had a half Rueben and apple broccoli slaw and I would have it again! And again! The sandwich was loaded up and delicious on grilled marble rye. The corned beef was better than I can get in Dallas. The Apple broccoli slaw so good! AND THEY HAVE HOMEMADE BUTTERMILK PIE!!!! It may the best I've ever tasted. The food here took me back to better times. Truly like grandma, or for me, Nana used to make. The food, the dessert, the friendly coziness. If you're in Glen Rose you have to visit this little gem of a place!

Bloody's were very good. Not sure what was in the pitcher, but they were not made by pouring out of a bottle of Zing Zang. (which I do like btw) This is in a very rustic, hastily put together space, and now that the problem child is gone. it is time for some upgrades and a makeover - as John has suggested. You have your proof of concept, now just dress it up. A suggestion on the sound. It was pretty much inaudible upstairs. I could hear that ya'll were talking - just very hard to make out the words. Which was a shame because I really wish I could have made out the Q&A Session better. I saw speakers everywhere - they just were not sending words to me. Not sure if it was better downstairs.

On a trip for business I found myself in Walnut Springs Tx.. As I was driving I remember wishing I…read morehad my Bike with me to take that ride. Once I arrived I knew I was right by the amount of Harleys that were outside. Some Custom some Stock. Even the parking out front was reserved for Bikes. If you like riding to Strokers in Dallas you will love Roadhouse. If you are in North Texas and you head here you will not be disappointed. From what I understand the establishment is under New Ownership. Management, from my experience is killing it. The menu has a lot of options and literally everything wa appealing. I'm a Wing guy so that was a given. Big Wings cooked and seasoned perfectly served with what might be the best hand cut Onion Rings I had in a long time. If I remember there were like five flavors and I'm sure there was no bad choice on flavors. There is also a Steakhouse from what I'm told serves a very good Rib Eye. I should also mention the Burgers were said to be the best around. The Bartender Jennifer was very nice and made some tasty Cocktails. They also had a very good selection of Beers and some that seemed to be Texas favorites lol. I had a chance to talk to the Manager Reggie who was a nice guy. He said they have live Music some days. The place was.complete with a Stage and an area for Dancing. He said Ted Nugent was there recently. Definitely it my thing but to each his own. It's off the beaten path but as I said a great place to go to get away for a few Hours. Next time I'm in Fort Worth I'll probably go again. Especially if I find a business that Rents Bikes. Still thinking about those Wings. Lol. Yallhollatchaboy'.
