I got both on gluten-free bread. First off, the gluten-free bread was quite good! And at only a 1.30$ more to add, that's cheaper than Firehouse Subs. I also thought it tasted slightly better than Firehouse's GF bread. The only downside was that the bread seemed to absorb more of a papery taste from the wrapper upon for leftovers after left in the fridge overnight, but fresh it was delicious. The delivery bag was sealed well, and the sandwiches were wrapped so nicely. The Big Kahuna cheesesteak was really good, and i'd definitely get it again, with plenty of meat. The giant-sized The Original Italian was indeed giant, and I really liked how it came together. Sometimes italians can be too oily for me, but this was just right, and was very filling. Italians still arent my favorite, but this is the best chain sub italian i've had; far better than Subway's. Really good experience and they made a fan out of me!

When I unwrapped it and saw the bacon, I was upset at first, but quickly realized the mistake was mine. I went to the counter and explained my situation, just asking to order something else. The team member who helped me was incredibly kind and understanding. I chose a turkey sandwich and was fully ready to pay for it, but he gently told me he would take care of it. That small act of generosity truly made my day. As always, the food was amazing. Schlotzsky's really knows their craft--the balance of flavors in their sandwiches is spot on every time. Although the ham was fine, they were supposed to be on a croissant. Instead they were on regular bread baked in the shape of a croissant. The honey mustard dressing tasted vile. I could not finish it and chucked it. I really liked the speciality sandwiches they used to sell, but I will not be purchasing the classic ham sandwich again. I suspect they knew they were going to be busy and didn't want to waste time making the speciality sandwiches, so premade the classic one's that sat around for a few days until they sold them to an unsuspecting customer.
