We have been eating at Jason Delhi for some time. The food had been good for some time and we have that in our mi d do we went back today. The last time we were there , we saw a pamphlet that advertised: "join today and get $5.00 off your $20.00 dollar purchased. So that day we asked how did it work. They explained that it had to be having the app. So my wife downloaded the app, on her phone. We went to eat today and when ordering my wife showed them the app; they told her we give you credit for this purchased . We sat down and wait for the meal ; then I reviewed the ticket and noticed they did not give us $5.00 off as the pamphlet said; I went to the cashier and asked her about the money off. And she told us we have to be NEW CUSTOMER ; and I asked her where does it say on the pamphlet; and the answer was. "It had to be purchased the same day as when you download the app. I told her we did it this morning; her answer was it has to be as new customer and the first time there. Spoke with the Manager and the answer was the same. And I asked the same question; "where does it say all this in the pamphlet. His answer was that is the way it is. Did a delivery and was disappointed. The potato soup had more broccoli than potatoes. The pastrami in the Ruben sandwich was tough, fatty and difficult to chew. And the pasta had very little flavor, like it was a water sauce. I paid nearly $40 for a lousy meal. Won't be eating here again! read more

This location had really dropped in quality. I'm not sure if they're understaffed. There were plenty of empty tables but they either hadn't been cleaned, or the chairs/booths had crumbs all over, or the floor around/under the table had food/straw wrappers/napkins. Not a huge fan of line counter ordering for sandwiches, but everything looked good and they had plenty of choices on the menu. They have an unlimited salad bar that has pretty good healthy choices. For $1 more you can add a cup of soup to the $7 salad bar. I ordered a cuban sandwich on a new tenera bread. It was pretty good, but by far not the greatest cuban I'd ever had. I expected the meat to be along the pulled pork or sliced shoulder type, but it was more deli style like shaved ham. The bread was actually very good. Soft and chewy. My order came with some regular potato chips. Their menu had some huge pastrami and corned beef beef sandwiches that I think ill return to try soon. read more

Why are people in Texas so darn friendly? And at Jason's Deli, they add on an extra layer of friendliness just for good measure! So to sum it up: this place is awesome. First off, the cashier was super helpful and informative; he immediately recognizes my awe and amazement at the extensive menu and correctly surmised that it was my first time patronizing the establishment. I opted to order the manager's special which comes with half a sandwich (I chose the California club), soup (French onion for me please), and fruit (which includes a delicious yogurt dipping sauce) and all for the low, low price of $7! And oh my goodness, every single thing was amazingly good! And the best part?! They exist in the DC area. I am totally in heaven right now! Went here for lunch with a group. I was annoyed that the cashier wouldn't let me order a soup and bring the bowl back for the person to choose. Maybe it is how they do business, but who steals soup bowls/ cups? The person went to the restroom, and when he came out the line was ridiculously long. Good food. Always consistent and filling. While it is not on the cheap side, the quality and amount of good is decent. They have a varied menu and best of all, free ice cream for everyone. Ok... wish there was a way to have NO STARS! It's rare that I give a really scathing review, as I normally can find the good in anyone. BUT. OH HELL NO! I went here and ordered a wrap. I am, admittadly, a militant irritating vegan, who reads every lable, and can hold up the process of ordering for my tablemates for quite some time. (After specifically stating NO CHEESE) So I went to return it, got a dirty look for the guy behind the counter... so I decided to watch him make the new one. That's when I saw the not changing of the gloves... and then saw him cut the wrap with a knife he didn't even bother to wipe after the turkey sandwich he made before me. I didn't say anything... I took the wrap back to the table, and figured my ex husband would eat it. Then my extemely vegetarian daughter and I watched... (out of morbid curiosity) to see what else could possibly go wrong. Plenty. As they filled the trays behind the counter with some unidentifiable meat... the juice was slopping into the peppers...
