It's so hard to find a good Oral Surgeon. And I've been looking for one. The office is really clean and it has a relaxing feeling. Behind the front desk is Adali. She's so helpful whether I'm on the phone or in the office. Before removing my tooth, I went in for a consultation. So all my questions were answered. Dr. Hu made me feel as relaxed as I could be. He cares about the details. He removed the rest of my tooth fast. They're prices are resonable. And they took me back at the time of my appointment. No waiting! The dental hygienists are always amazing, and excellent at dealing with people who are anxious about dental care or very sensitive to dental pain. However, today I had an experience where Dr. Wallace and his staff really went above and beyond that I really wanted to share. I had a filling come out last Friday, and when I called Monday morning to book an appointment, was told that I would be seen for diagnosis only, and the treatment would have to be scheduled in at a later date. You can imagine my surprise when upon looking at the tooth Dr. Wallace said he could take care of it today. He and his assistant got me very well numbed, got the filling replaced and got me out of there in less than 40 minutes. Thanks to them I am now pain free again AND was able to still make it in to work on time today. They easily could have scheduled me to come back at a later time, and their willingness to do this today made such a difference in my life this week. I cannot recommend this dental office and the entire team there highly enough, you all are amazing!!

If I could give them zero stars I would…read more Backstory: This is my childhood dentist. I went to college to get my degree in accounting. I got my accounting degree and had a job with the state a few years later I quit my job to become an entrepreneur. With that being said, I recently signed up for Medicare. I was having a headaches, sore throat and toothache. My doctor suggested that I went to my dentist because it's been a while since I've been there. I get to McDowell's office and they instantly tell me they don't take Medicare but they will see what they can do. Optimistically I go to the back get my x-ray and Dr. McDowell explains that the doctor that I went to prior was not telling me the truth and that I just have two cavities. McDowell ensured me that my tooth with a hole in it (that hurt when air was placed in it) is not the cause of my pain. He told me to start brushing my teeth and flossing and I should be fine. We later begin to talk about getting a filling in my cavities. Dr. McDowell understanding my situation told me that although they do not take Medicare he would allow me to make payments and he would talk to the front desk to have it arranged for me. I go to the front desk and Pam automatically begins to talk about me needing to find a Medicare dentist. I told her Dr. McDowell said that we could set up making payments. Pam arrogantly begins to slightly roll her neck and says it would be best that I find a Medicare dentist. I told her that I refuse to go to a Medicare dentist because I'm not comfortable as I've been with Dr. McDowell my majority of my life. Pam begins to smirk and ask how I will go about funding. I told her I work just not as an accountant anymore. Pam continues to smirk after I repeated again saying I can make payments. Pam began to question me about my career, how I would go about making the money and who I worked for me that made me sure I'd be able to have this money for payments. Once I sternly told her I was self-employed and had my own establishment she then began to lighten up. Pam explained that she "would not want to go to a Medicare dentist as well". Feeling attacked yet optimistic I asked her for an invoice so I could be ready to make the payments. After rolling her neck, giving me a questionnaire and made it clear she felt like I couldn't afford this procedure She only wanted me to show up with $200 for my first payment which is not hard at all so I didn't understand her dramatics. I went to sleep for the next two nights with terrible headaches and pain. This morning my mother called another dental organization they took me in the same day did my x-rays realized I had tooth decay which hit a nerve and I needed a root canal immediately . I was able to pay the money out of pocket without any problems or belittling (paid it off at once even thought it was over $1000.) I realized that Dr.McDowell and is team was my childhood dental office, but it is in fact time for a change. Their miss information and failure to detail could have caused me a month worth of torture. I will happily be leaving this establishment and taking my family with me.

I need some dental work done and was not happy with my previous facility so I called and made an appointment here. The earliest possible appointment was a month out and I was fine with waiting a bit to have a good dentist experience. When I spoke with the receptionist to make my appointment I gave her my insurance information and she said that they take my insurance and I would be good to come in and use my insurance. Today I get a call (just a few days before my appointment) with them saying that they actually don't take my insurance. When notifying me about how they don't accept my insurance the woman on the phone was explaining it to me as if it were my fault that I didn't give my information correctly the first time, which is not true how would I give my insurance info incorrectly when the woman found it perfectly fine on her end that makes zero sense. When the first woman I made an appointment with took my insurance information shouldn't she have seen that and told me that they don't accept it? Why did I only get notified about it just a few days before my appointment? Wasted my time waiting for my appointment here when I could have made an appointment elsewhere. Looks very bad and unprofessional on their part. Don't go here.
