I really like the Thai tea there. These are some my favorite dishes : Jasmine chicken salad (with ginger dressing), Tom Yum Soup, Chicken teriyaki (with mixed vegetables), Steak teriyaki (with French fries). Very disappointed in the tuna Nigeria I received here tonight. I eat Maguro Nigiri almost every single day I can get my hands on it, driving an hour, sometimes 2 to pick it up. Crazy I know but I love it. Maguro, which is tuna, isn't suppose to taste or smell like fish at all and it has a firmer texture. The color can vary from red to pink depending on freshness or whether it has been gassed with carbon monoxide to keep its red color to appear to fresher than it really is. The carbon monoxide isn't harmful to ingest like this BTW. I dont usually eat at Jasmine, but from where I was it was the closest option to get the quality meat I prefer. Sometimes its Eastern Peak Bellevue and other times my money is spent in Dickson at Ichirio. Tonight at jasmine I ordered 12 pieces which is normal when I order from Bellevue or Murray, KY because of the size they normally are and thr price which doesn't bother me as long as it is what its suppose to be. Tonight I might as well ordered Sashimi, which I dont care for since I order the other for the rice. I about cannot even feel the rice in my mouth because its such a small amount compared to the piece of fish which is the normal size as usual. It also has a bit of a fishy taste and isn't as firm as it should be in my somewhat expert opinion considering how much of this I have been eating a day for almost two years now. They also have these packets of Wasabi you can barely open for take out orders now where I guess they are trying tobsave money that are not very good and of course not fresh at all. I shouldn't have to ask for fresh made Wasabi. It should be given for take out just as it is dine in. If I didnt have this Wasabi though I couldn't eat this tuna. I have started buying buckets of ginger because even if you offer to buy a container of ginger from them thet won't let u. Eastern Peak in Bellevue will but they barely give u any for 5 dollars. Asking for extra ginger is like pulling teeth at either of the 2 restaurants though. It's all about money at these; not customer satisfaction. I think from now on I'll only be spending my 350 dollars a week pkus in Dickson at ICHIRO who has the best quality tuna nigiri hands down everyday. With such high expectations of this place everytime I go, I am greatly disappointed in them tonight and its not the first time. I will not be returning from here on out. Some of the pieces look kinda gray as well. I hope I have better luck with the lettuce wraps. Almost 70 dollars wasted and an hour drive wasted!!! read more

5 stars for the ambiance. When I pull my car into a strip mall, my expectations drop a little bit. But once you enter the actual restaurant, you forget that you're in a strip mall. It's a very welcoming, modern, attractive space. The food was decent. Murray is a little too far from an ocean or an airport for me to be willing to try the sushi, although the list of special rolls sounded quite good. So, Thai food it was. The pad thai wasn't particularly spicy. Some places have a spice scale where you can order your food with more or less heat depending on your tastes. This was only offered the one way, and I thought it could have used a bit more kick (but that's just me). There was a slight ketchup taste that I couldn't quite get my head around. It wasn't what I'm used to, but it wasn't bad either. I wouldn't go to Murray to eat at Jasmine, but I would eat there when I am in town. read more

I've made a good review before, which you may see below, but it's been really frustrating the last few times I've been. You basically end up praying that you get put in a good section, and for whatever reason we have not. It takes about 7 or 8 minutes for someone to even come up and offer us water, and then when we order drinks from the bar, the drinks don't come until about 3 minutes before the food does. We spoke to someone who seemed like the manager but didn't get any kind of discount. That same manager walked by about four times and saw us just waiting for someone even to acknowledge us. There were only about three tables with people in our section, and none of the bigger tables were full. In the future, I'm just going to walk in, order drinks from the bar myself then ask to be seated. The food here is good; it's one of the better places to eat in Murray, but I almost wish I could order at the cash register rather than deal with their service. read more

I have eaten at this location on several occasions over the years. When they first opened they were delicious and new. To have a sushi restaurant in the area was awesome and they did a pretty good job making delicious sushi. Over the years however their service and quality has declined. I don't think they have ever bought new plates. The ones they use are either poorly cleaned, or so beaten up they appear to be so. They've invested in the interior, but not in their staff. The sushi has become mediocre at best. I'm guessing they have a college kid making it. I no longer go there because while the quality has gone down the prices have gone up. Save your money and pick another place to dine. read more

This very well may be the best sushi place in this area. That being said, it is NOT good sushi. The bad: Bigger is not always better! That is especially true of sushi rolls. The rolls here are way oversized. You should be able to eat each piece in one bite with no trouble. Also, both rolls were soaked in sauce. The quality of the fish should be showcased, not drown in various sauces. While we are at it, let's chat about cream cheese. It's in almost every roll, and there is a ton of it! The good: design and atmosphere are nice. It was clean. When the wait staff were around there were friendly. The kitchen items that we ordered were good. I love the Beef and Broccoli at Jasmines. What I can't stand is the 6.20$ Covid charge for carry out orders. I found the pick up order portal encumbersome and chaotic. Love this restaurant! I ordered the shrimp and avocado salad and asked for the dressing on the side. The dressing - a ginger fresh made is amazing. I also asked for peanut dressing on the side and I used both! My husband ordered a green curry that was delicious too! The wine selection is nice as well. My service was very bad. First I had hair in my friends food and then mine. Then the waitress shook her head at me and my friends then walked away like she didn't know what to do. Then a couple weeks ago I went with my friend and the same waitress forgot her water and my soup and then she was no where to be found for like half an hour. I absolutely love Jasmines, this is hands down my favorite place to eat in Murray. Even before the remodel this place was way ahead of its time for Western Kentucky. The remodel gives Murray a joint that has a hip and modern feel like a place in a major city. I love the Boston Roll, I have not been able to find a roll comparable to it anywhere, I've asked some sushi places to custom make the roll for me but it always tends to fall short. I average about one visit per week. I enjoy the Thai curries and crab salad. I only tried one sushi roll, but I did not like the special (sweetened) sauce that was poured all over the roll. We went to Jasmine to eat-in for the first time as we had always gotten to go in the past. The food is as always was really good and can say nothing bad about that. You don't get huge portions, but you don't feel totally ripped off either. My only complaint is the sever we had was slow and while there is a call button on the table, we used it and no one ever showed up as we sat there with completely empty glasses. I finally had to call down another server who couldn't do anymore than say they'd get our server which they didn't as I could see I server socializing at a table and the server we asked never went near them - why one server can't gets drinks for another server is beyond me - I get the zones, I get the tips but a server is there to serve - period. I finally had to resort to my ever so obnoxious very loud slurping of my glass which got the head server there in about 2 seconds flat and our drinks were refilled and they stayed refilled after that. The food was very good, it was a little slow getting to the table and it wasn't because of a packed house and my only real complaint was the somewhat poor service but it is a college town and the servers are mostly college students who have yet to develop a decent work ethic and their small tip reflected it. An important part of a good restaurant experience for me is customer service and Jasmine's does a really great job. Everyone is very nice, and even though it was very busy, they were handling things with ease and fixed my problem right away!
