Best Chinese food in town. Sushi is also much better than miso in my opinion. If you order lunch buffet to go, you can stuff as much food in there as you can for $8. It's a great deal! read more

Omg! I came in for a late lunch and I don't even know where to start. I'm speechless. The sushi was rubbery and tasteless. They kept letting it run out without bringing out more. Most of the dishes didn't have labels so you didn't know what you were eating. If you enjoy mystery meat, this is the place! The food was all dried and looked so unappetizing. I actually found myself spitting my food back onto my plate. The only redeemable things were the breaded egg plant (which I had to use a knife on), the frog legs, and the ice cream bar. The service was no where to be found. The food here is nasty. I won't be back. read more

Quite a few food items were empty even after telling the staff. Server was borderline rude. Food was so so. Bathroom was disgustingly. Definitely gone downhill read more

We've had the hibachi here and it was just fine, however the buffet side is the worst food I've ever had. No effort was put into any of it and the food is not even edible read more

The food was very good and the wait staff were great. I have been eating here for a couple of years. Sometimes it is packed and things go slow but it still is good food for a good price. I love the interior,it is very nice. read more

Good sushi. Great hibachi customerservice. I liked the show! Food taste was good. Recommend!

Good service, but the food could be better. I have eaten at Chinese restaurants all over the country. If I was to rate the quality on a scale of 1 to 10, this was a solid 7. read more

My family sat down to eat at this restaurant, on the buffet side. My grandson started choking after eating only 2 bites of his cheese pizza. He was finally able to cough out what was choking him. It was a sharp piece of rusty metal! Possibly from a cleaning brush or something. Upon alerting restaurant staff we were told "accidents happen". No apology. No concern whatsoever. Completely nonchalance. Unacceptable! We made a report with the health department and left right then. We will not be back. read more

Oishii Hibachi & Buffet - Piece of sharp metal found in pizza! - Japanese Near Me - Paris, Tennessee

I like the variety of foods. The wait staff could be better versed in English. The food is always fresh . The price is average.

Good variety of food on the buffet. Food is very good but sometimes slow on bringing out fresh food. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. read more

They got the Best sushi in town and friendly and fast service great place to get together with friends and family

Walked in, walked out. Something told me to not stay, I didn't want to be in the hospital with food poisoning!

Service was excellent from the waitress to the chef. We never had to ask for refills. Chef prepared our food to perfection, and presented a good show. Our party was joined by 2 other couples and our entire table was enjoyable. VERY reasonably priced for a Japanese steakhouse. A MUST if you are in Paris, Tennessee read more

Updated Review -- Overall the food is still good. My sushi roll was delicious but the rest left a bit to be desired compared to how it typically is. The server was excellent. However, the strangest part was how overtly unfriendly the woman at the front counter was that sat us. She seemed annoyed to even have any customers. We just walked in with smiles on our faces and said "2" when she asked how many. She didn't say anything else and looked angry. She walked us to our table and literally threw a singular menu on the table lol. So we took turns looking at the dirty menu. The table was also sticky, and the vents in the ceiling were so so dirty. We were sat in some type of overflow room, even though we initially politely requested the hibachi area. The hostess pretended like she didn't hear us, keeping with her theme. So all that to say -- aside from the bizarrely rude woman at the front and some sanitation issues while dining, I still think the sushi here is good. Will probably only get takeout though from now on. I've never tried the buffet as buffets aren't really my thing so I can't speak on that. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE. TOTAL REGRET. There was a fly cooked into my cheese mushroom and they said they'll only take off 20% off my ticket. Horrible. The fly had been in the long enough to have a second layer of cheese applied to the top layer and then cooked again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

Oishii Hibachi & Buffet - Fly-ed mushrooms... they took 20% off my meal. Unacceptable. Do not recommend this place. - Japanese Near Me - Paris, Tennessee

Garbage food for what you pay! You're better off paying so much cheaper for the same quality somewhere else in Paris. Seriously don't recommend. read more

I do not usually have much interest in buffets. This is a definite exception though. It is very clean. The price is pretty reasonable. There is a good variety of food on the buffet. It is always hot. The other part of the restaurant is hibachi. The food here is terrific as well. Great place to eat in Paris. read more

I only had the buffet side, but it was great, very affordable and they were constantly refilling. Nothing stood out as over the top but just had a general level of tasty across the board. Add to that the nice people and it was enjoyable. read more

Their Buffay is average normal Chinese buffet nothing to get excited about they have a lot of items it's a pretty big place comfortable dining not cheap nothing there's well priced it's all a little over priced there hibachi disappointing I love hibachi and those is the worst I've ever had again expensive once again Paris has no real dining experiences to get happy about go to Murray go somewhere else read more

Clean and food was hot and fresh. Service was great waitress was very attentive. Definitely always enjoy coming here.

Went there today with my two daughters- Hostess was not very friendly. The food was was okay - nothing special ,but passable . Our waitress never came and asked us if we needed anything- and when we called her for drink refills , it seemed to irritate her to no end. There werent' many people in there so there's no excuse for the poor service we got. We were in there back in Feb on Valentine's day and the service was much better .. Don't think I'll be going back unless there's no other option when I'm in Paris. We didn't leave any tip either. no way was I gonna tip for being ignored . read more

I was overcharged for a buffet and I wasn't even very impressed with their food. These people had absolutely no clue about the order of people waiting in line for their mediocre food. If I could give a 0/5 stars, I definitely would. Sorry not sorry. Get your crap together Oishii. read more

Don't fooled yourself by looking at the big billboard sign on the road ................so I did head over to the restaurant usually my first impression is 98% accurate the first thing I notice when walked into the place was dead was empty 96% no good at all I had the chance to walk out the door but I prefer to try it and see it for myself ......I guess my instincts was accurate the food was so dry and old and lost my appetite that's a good way to loose weight and I shouldn't know better than that and is hard to find a good authentic Asians restaurants here in the southern states.! read more

This is the best Chinese food I've had in a while. I recommend you to go there . All the food is cooked just right and best taste.

This is a Chinese super buffet, hibachi grill, and sushi restaurant. It looks unassuming on the outside, but it has tons of seating inside. It's really nice and clean inside. The Chinese buffet is awesome. It's fresh and the selection is great. The hibachi is excellent as well, but I've never had bad hibachi. To me, the sushi is what sets it apart in paris. This place has amazing quality and presentation on the sushi rolls. They have the type of sushi you'd hope to find in a major metro area. For comparison, it's way better and cheaper than Jasmine in murray, miso's in paris, or the sushi place in Union city. I thought it was better than any Asian place in Jackson as well. I cannot say enough good things about Oishii. By far, the best sushi and Chinese buffet in all of West tn/ky. read more

Buffet is absolutely disgusting.. chicken is all fat. Hell.. even the ice cream is all freezer burnt.

Great place for buffet. Two of my boys (ages 8 & 16) love it. Their lunch buffet is good but their dinner buffet is even better with additional selections like steak, oysters and mussels. Both the lunch and dinner buffet have sushi and stuffed clams which my boys love. We will have to try the grill sometime. My wife even likes this buffet and it is sometimes a challenge for her to try something diffferent. We both love the bourbon chicken. The fried rice is great also. Try this restaurant and I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

The food was amazing. The kids loved everything to. It is so clean. Also, very good service.

What happened to this place? Bugs and soured sushi and the crab sad had water and hair in it! So disappointed.

The food is good, but not the greatest. Staff is quick and kind. I wouldn't make this my first pick to eat, but definitely not the last.

All of the buffet food is delicious. This is the best Chinese restaurant in town. Their fried rice is perfect. The hibachi side is fantastic too read more

beware that oishii japanese buffet is not a japanese buffet at all. it is a mediocre chinese buffet. anything japanese (except sushi) is alla carte! for a bowl of mizu soup you would have to pay $2.00 extra and same thing with the hibachi food, which i did not date to inquire. the service was okay. friendly waitresses. bathrooms need cleaning because some patrons can not aim properly at the toilet bowl. the lunch menu was a fair price of $6.99. there was small shrimps and the regular traditional chinese cuisine items. nothing special about it. so if you are a bait for japanese food...beware that the switch will cost you ectra bucks. oishii, which means yummie in japanese, is far from delicious. it is a regular chinese buffet, or if you come from florida, you would find it to be comparable to the worse chinese buffet down there. i will not return to oishii. lunch at your own disappointment if you crave for japanese food other than sushi. or at best, be ready to pay extra dollars for your japanese cuisine. read more
