I must say that normally the Mediterranean food outside of Seattle has not been enjoyable due to the fact that they don't use fresh hummus and pita bread. The ambiance was very lowkey which I like because the super hyped up places never have great flavor I've noticed. This is a small place in a strip mall near Totem Lake in Kirkland. We have got food to go many times and every time the food has been excellent. The.menu is along the lines of Mediterranean and let me tell you they deliver. I love the whole chickens and swarma plate but the Greek salad is always a favorite. The flavors are plentiful, portions are large and prices are reasonable. Those are probably the main three reasons we are always here getting food. This place has really good rotisserie chicken, chicken shawarma and falafel sandwich. The garlic sauce is yummy too! They always serve fresh, soft pita too. I do wish the plates were a little cheaper but they do let me a few meals so it works out fine. With extra garlic sauce they come out to like $16 bucks. Recently had food from here delivered via one of the online platforms. I'm so glad to finally try this place as it was on my list for ages! In usual fashion, I ordered a few different menu options so I could try a variety of different flavors. Chicken shawarma plate - I was not expecting so much food! It was all very flavorful and fresh! The hummus was tasty, especially when dipped with the pita bread! The rice needs some more flavor, maybe some zest of a lemon or something to make it more fragrant! That's my perspective though! Best Greek spot on the Eastside. My go to order is beef and lamb gyro plate or the chicken schawarma plate. Portions are huge, you get at least 2 meals out of it. Plenty of meat, delicious HOMEMADE hummus and tzatziki, warm pita. I tried their Greek fries the other day and it had so much flavor. Staff are all friendly and fast. This is a small place located in an area with many other small restaurants nearby, one also serving Mediterranean style food across the street. So lots of competition around. Today was my second time and I ordered a chicken shawarma salad to go. I super appreciate the generous size with lots of chicken and the delicious garlic sauce. The chicken tasted really fresh but I must say it wasn't as flavorful as I had at other places and it was just a bit dry. That's why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. The food is pretty standard in terms of quality, and generous in terms of quantity. I love the garlic sauce; that's probably the one thing that makes this place stand out. The hummus was nice and creamy and went really well with the pita bread, which was thick and fluffy with a light chew to it. However I found the 14 dollar price tag a bit high and the chicken to be too dry. In sum, I would not go out of my way to eat here, but if I were hungry and in the area, I would recommend checking them out! The garlic sauce here is indeed dope, so glad I tried this place and it'd most likely be my go to Mediterranean place on the east side from now on. I ordered the mixed gyro plate and the chicken shawarma plate via Uber eats and the food came well packaged with two warm pitas and the sauce in separate containers. The shawarma came with the garlic sauce while the gyro plate came with the tzatziki sauce. Both sauces are great and the pitas are pillowy soft, hummus is on point too. There's also plenty of flavorful meat and rice that lasted us another meal. I hope they can do a mixed gyro and shawarma plate so I can have all my faves in one plate rather than pick and choose. Oh yeah if you don't mind your breathe afterwards, definitely opt for the garlic sauce it's so worth it. Otherwise tzatziki is the way to go, both are very tasty. I was initially worried because there was literally no one in the restaurant when we got there Thursday evening. I was so glad that I was proven wrong. Food- huge portions and quite tasty! I went to Jasmine Kitchen for lunch the other day and ordered the Beef and Lamb Gyro Plate. It came with hummus, rice, a salad and pita as well. I smothered it in Tzatziki sauce, which might be my favorite sauce in the world. The meal was great! I couldn't get enough of it, but at the same time I couldn't finish it because I got too full. I wanted to try their Greek Fries as well because they look delicious! I definitely will have to come back to try them soon. For a beverage I grabbed a bottled Pepsi, they also have a soda fountain as well. Employees were friendly and service was quick. I love Mediterranean food and Jasmine Kitchen does not disappoint! Better than average falafel here. Falafel is properly crisp on the outside while being soft inside. It's really hard to find good falafel in this area, so that alone is a reason to visit. Good falafel but the rest of the menu is average for the area. Portions and prices are reasonable. Based on business owner response, which I appreciate, I've modified my review. I didn't think the hummus was very flavorful, but I'll accept that they make it themselves. Parking was easy and food was ready quickly. This is my go-to Mediterranean spot for yellow rice. They are consistent and their yellow rice isn't as greasy as what you'll get at other Mediterranean joints at similar prices. I love their hummus and the mini salad you get with the kebab plates. Their garlic sauce is also super good. We order from here all the time and love it.
