One week later my hub completely failed when going over a mountain pass. We were very lucky nobody was seriously injured or worse. The hub and axle were completely destroyed, costing more than $3k in repairs. When I called to ask what size bearings were installed, they admitted that they only squirted grease in the fitting. They charged nearly $140 for squirting grease into the fitting. What a joke. I called the shop and the manager complained that I was being mean because I was angry. He wanted to argue everything I said and wouldn't listen. Steer clear of this crooked shop.

I've bought many trailers, in different states. Some good, some not so good experiences. The…read moretrailer I picked out was so new my lender could not determine the replacement value. Big Tex worked by correcting PO's and providing information in order for me to close my loan. Thank you! I did not know they closed at noon on Saturday and had to race from Austin to pickup in time for us to use this weekend. They were nice enough to stay open just a little late so I could close the deal. Thank you! So lets talk value. They were very fair and competitive. In searching for other dealers with the same trailer to get valuation for the lender, I asked if they would price match. Yes.... that is until I gave them the price. Then they declined! So much for that "we'll beat any price" BS. I think it really just depends on what you are looking for. Definitely worth shopping here if you are looking for a cargo trailer. They have my vote.
