Outstanding Bill's Tow Service in Killeen, Texas…read more I had an excellent experience with Bills Towing. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. The towing vehicle itself immediately stood out -- it was clean, new, and honestly one of the most impressive -looking tow trucks I've ever seen. It gave me confidence right away that I was dealing with professionals who take pride in their equipment. The driver Justin truly made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly patient, efficient, and clearly very skilled at what he does. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a surprisingly enjoyable one thanks to our conversation. He shared some really fascinating stories about his life background, which made the whole process feel much more personal and memorable. If you're ever in need of a tow (rental car broke down) in or around Killeen or just off the 35 going towards Austin, I highly recommend Bill's Towing. Professional equipment, outstanding customer service, and a driver Justin who truly goes above and beyond. Hands down one of the best service experiences I've had.

1/5 -- Horrible Customer Service…read more Service Experience I would not recommend Bill's Towing, its manager Joseph, or the driver Cody to anyone. My experience was extremely unprofessional, stressful, and disappointing from start to finish. When I arrived at Chuck's Garage, the manager at the front desk appeared visibly frustrated that I had brought in a towed vehicle and gave the impression that he did not want the business at all. This made the situation uncomfortable from the beginning. After receiving the quote, which I felt was extremely high, he seemed to pressure me into continuing with the service despite my concerns about the cost. When I decided not to move forward, I stepped outside and was on the phone with Bill's Towing. At that point, the manager came out and said he would charge me $75 if I was going to keep my vehicle there, in a passive-aggressive tone, even though I had already made arrangements to tow my vehicle to another mechanic shop. Pricing Issues Additionally, the company they work with, Chuck's Garage, tried to charge me approximately $700 just to inspect my vehicle and diagnose the A/C problem. I had previously been given a much lower estimate over the phone, but once I arrived, the price was significantly increased, which felt misleading given the circumstances. Wait Time I then waited an hour and a half in 102-degree weather for Bill's Towing after being told the wait would be about 30 minutes, which added even more frustration to an already difficult situation. Staff Behavior Cody the wannabe tough guy was very rude and said it was policy that they could not give rides to the next location; however, after a call with the manager, they said it was not a policy at all. He did not provide me with a ride to the next location and left me stranded. Then, only about five minutes after arriving, he threatened to have my vehicle impounded while I was still on the phone actively trying to arrange payment for the towing service. Overall Experience The entire situation felt rushed, disrespectful, and heavily overpriced. Based on my experience, I would 100% not recommend this business and strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

Beware of Phil's Auto Repair. In my experience, this shop is dishonest and will overcharge if given…read morethe opportunity. Low ratings exist for a reason. I've gone there several times for alignments. During my last visit, they told me I needed wheel bearings and gave me a written estimate of about $1,300 for parts and labor. I asked if I could supply my own parts, and they said yes, explaining only that they wouldn't be able to warranty customer-supplied parts. I specifically asked what the labor would cost and was told $645. I ordered the parts and, a few months later, called to make sure the labor price was still the same before bringing my car in. They assured me it was. When I arrived with my parts, instead of pulling up my original estimate, the employee created a new estimate with the labor increased by nearly $300. I stopped him and asked him to print my original estimate. He hesitated and only did so after I repeatedly insisted. The manager then came out and claimed the original labor price was only discounted because I was supposedly buying their parts. That explanation made no sense because I had already told them from the beginning that I would be supplying my own parts, and at that time they still quoted me $645 for labor. They never said that price depended on buying their parts. It felt like an excuse made up on the spot to justify charging me almost $900 in labor. To make matters worse, the parts they wanted to sell me were marked up by more than $500. I bought the exact same brand-new parts myself for only $170. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Make sure you get everything in writing, compare prices, and don't assume they will honor the estimates they give you. After leaving I discovered that they also have complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well
