Moving Day! I received my U-Haul here just 2 days prior to my moving date. I had changed my moving date, and specifically requested a 10' Truck with a Tow Dolley for my move. The locations in Killeen didn't have my requested truck, so I had to drive 30 min to Gatesville to receive my truck. U-Haul gave me 30 free miles to compensate for the drive. The employee on site was very compassionate, helpful, and assisted my dad and I with the equipment. Lots of Fire Ant Beds... The Computer Software did crash twice, had to put in the info, and resubmit my identification cards ect. I needed a Tow Dolly, but the software said be back by 3:45 pm. I was moving my Mom's car to transmission shop in Gatesville. The signage was very hard to find as we passed by and turned around.. We got the Tow-Dolly at 9:40am, and got back by 1:30ish. I got back $16.00 bucks as my deposit. I stepped into some fire ant mounds and got bit on my legs.. Yet, I took photos of the tow dolly and brought it back. Me and my friend now have to re-rent the tow dolly to move another car to part puller company for some cash.. My first real experience dealing with U-Haul.. However, I rather go with B&W than Vernon's in Evant. read more
