This store is amazing! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly. The staff everywhere I looked were genuinely helping other customers. Though they were busy when I arrived, was pointed in the right direction for my interest in a gift. Before I knew it, a sales assistant was able to not only show me what I was interested in but had knowledge about the maker of the time piece, as well as the actual description of everything it was made of! Stay away from this jewelry store. I went 10 months ago to make my wedding ring bigger, I payed more than 200.00 dollars for the service. My ring is being with me for couple of years without no problem but now is broken for the first time after they make it bigger. I went today 02/02/22 to the store and they told me that they will not fix it because the warranty was only for 6 months. I went to Jared thinking that it was a good jewelry store to find out that is just the opposite. They did a real bad work for my ring that only lasted 10 months before broke. This is unacceptable. The sales person spoke with the manager to see if they will fix it but the manager said NO. Unprofessional place, bad quality service, no customer service. Please, if you in need to make a piece of jewelry bigger don't go to this jewelry store, they will take your money but they will not be responsible to fix it and to admit that they did a terrible job that only last for 10 months. We come here regularly to keep our wedding ring under warranty. Not sure why they keep having difficulty finding us in the system but was told recently they've been having computer issues. I don't really like the fact that we have to keep coming in to keep the warranty active but it's good to get the ring cleaned regularly and to make sure everything is ok. They're always very nice and not pushy. I ordered some earrings & a necklace for my wife on online for pick up at the Deerbrook store. When i went to pick up the gift i was told very rudely i might add that because i purchased this gift using my wifes card that she had to pick it up. I explained this was a surprise gift & i her husbsnd would like to pick it up. They wouldn't budge . Even though they've already charged the card and I have ID clearly showing I was the card holders husband they rudely hold me there was nothing they could do to help me. I've used Jared before without a problem, but my last visit was awful. Brought my wedding rings to get re-size. Specifically told them there was an inscription on one of the rings they said that should not be a problem. Was told I was going to get a call or email and rings were ready. I called to check on the status of the ring as it's been a week told me I was not going to receive a call or email but my rings were ready. After I hung up I received both a phone call and an email stating my rings were ready. (Poor communication) When I go to pick them up they were in fact not ready and they removed the inscription. I got apologies but nothing else as far a compensation. They did re-inscribe my ring for free but that was expected after they made the mistake very unprofessional very dissatisfied! never again read more

If I could give them no stars I definitely would. My fiancé found my engagement ring at Jared (willowbrook location) and had high hopes I'd be taken care of due to previous experience at other location. When we arrived, no one acknowledged us which was not a big deal, being that everyone was taking care of something. Two other elder couples and a gentleman walked in after us. We decided to look around see if anyone would free up and assist us. This was not the case. As soon as someone freed up the elder couple was assisted and then the gentleman. I admit I look younger than my age but this is just POOR customer service. One lady made eye contact with me and turned away and then said "whose next". All to say, we'll never come back here. Willing to take the drive to get treated the way we deserve by Nick and his team at the willowbrook location. Lesson learned. read more

My husband bought me a pair of expensive earrings as a Christmas gift. When we were checking out the gentleman offered to have the earnings appraised. We thought this was odd, because all jewelry stores we had purchased jewelry from before would already provide the certificate of appraisal value when we purchase the item. We went to the appraisal appointment and once it was finished they wanted to charge us another $100 for the appraisal of the earnings. We told them that we never were informed it was an additional charge. They refused to give us the appraisal unless we paid. We feel scammed and will never shop at this store again. read more

I have purchase a number of Pandora charms and bracelets for my wife. On one of the bracelets the hasp that snaps to secure it to here wrist has broken. She went into this location , where I have made all of the purchases. To see if it could be repaired and the representative told here know, that another bracelet would have to b e purchased. Mind you I did not accompany my wife for this visit and see called me to relay the clerks response. I told my wife that we would not purchase another bracelet just because of a clasp and that I would research the issue. Well after reviewing Pandora's website we found that a repair can be made and that the actual warranty is not one year but two. Also that the location where we purchase has the responsibility to return it for repair if the local store could not do it. This was completely contradictory to what the clerk told us. i believe it has to be a lack of training or they were just trying to make another sale. We will be gong elsewhere in the future. I can't believe this place has not been reviewed yet, after all, it is the Galleria of Jewelry. I must admit this location is very large and well stocked with what are the basics of the jewelry trade these days. They carry a large stock of Pandora products. They have large cases devoted to the stuff. They also have a large selection of mid range watches and some high end stuff. For bridal jewelry, they do have the usual suspects. They have many settings that are awaiting their center stones to be complete and some rings ready to go, for those folks who don't want to wait. In general, the rings are the designs that are hot today. They also offer special services to help you design your own masterpiece. Finally, in the bridal market, they have a large selection of loose diamonds in many shapes. The current favorites are well represented, round brilliant and rectangular princess cuts and cushion cuts are plentiful. If you're into step cut stones or pear, heart, or trillians, the pickings are slim. In colored stones, they have several selections from the Smitsonian collection that are relatively unique. The opals are particularly interesting as they have the contra luz varieties which have little to no color to the stone's matrix and just a lovely flash of fire. These are very lovely compared to the usual white opals. The Smithsonian items made from Sleeping Beauty turquoise are lovely and the colors in those stones are succulent. Lastly, they also carry a nice selection of Levian pieces, not just the "chocolate" diamonds that they advertise so heavily. Again, the colors in the stones are more intense than the usual fare at the main jewelry chains. I do think they could get more saturated amethysts, if they wanted to. This Jared location also has a fully functional jeweler's shop on premises, so they can help you repair broken items, change out your watch band or battery or anything else you need. Absolutely livid with the lack of competence the repair department seems to have. Dropped my watch off three months ago to be fixed. Was told they would have to send it off to Gucci. Came back a month later after no call from them to ask about the watch they didn't have a clue said that Gucci had it that was it. Was told they would call to up date ya, never did. My husband had to call and they said to him that the watch hasn't been fixed yet they were waiting for Jared's to call them. Husband instructed them to go ahead and fix it. Fast forward to today another month later no contact from them. I decide to go up there to see if it's ready. Surprise it's there ready. Informed the lady of my dissatisfaction with the lack of competence. She stated to me had I brought my paperwork when we brought it up there with the extra parts and they could have fixed it on spot. I quickly informed her I did bring it and told her The young man behind the counter was too busy with his nose in the air. We have been loyal clients of Jared's for 15 years I can tell you today they have forever lost our business. You have one job to do...do it right do it with integrity. This is a beautiful jewelry store. I mainly use it to get items for my Pandora bracelet or go in with family members to try to get THEM to purchase something for my Pandora bracelet. Just window shopping and dreaming is fun too. They have a huge selection of jewelry in just about any price range. Their watches and diamond necklaces are gorgeous. The service has been excellent every time. I do wish the Pandora selection was better (they are always out of a letter I need for my name on my bracelet), especially at holiday times.
