Visited this place and asked them to authenticate a Seiko PADI turtle special edition. The lady behind the counter said she would be happy to help, then she pulled up Google and started looking at images. When I said, I'm happy to pay for a Watchmaker to examine my watch for a real authentication she said "I can do it." and proceeded to look at her Google images screen. Good news, this watch is authentic as proclaim by the lady behind the counter. How difficult is it to go ask one of your watchmakers for professional assistance?, Good grief,... After much research, this is where my fiancé & I decided to purchase my engagement ring - a BIG decision. We had originally planned to do a custom ring because we couldn't find quite what we were looking for, but after sharing with Cassio our vision, they were able to find something off the shelf that met what we were looking for, saving us time & money! They were extremely patient with us throughout the process and answered all our questions for first time fine jewelry buyers... explaining metal options, strength, and all about diamonds. Cassio also jumped through leaps and bounds to find side stones that matched our center stone we already had. It was a big ask (because of the color of the diamond) & they totally delivered. It's a perfect match. There were multiple items they could have done to save costs & we would have been none the wiser (a microscopic scratch on the bottom of a stone, prongs that were too small) -- but they wanted to make sure everything was right, and openly made us aware of what they recommended - making it right at no charge to us. I included pictures of the ring (one with the smaller prongs and one with with larger prongs). I'm absolutely in love and obsessed with this piece!! The price was completely fair (comparing similar places both in person and online), they were very professional, and the experience met all of my dreams! 10 out of 10 --- absolutely recommend. read more

My wife (fiance at the time) and I were shopping around for simple wedding bands. I contacted a number of stores in the area and when Craig Cassio answered the phone, he impressed me right from the start. He was friendly, straightforward and very informative. We went in to the store a few days later and were met by their son Josh (it's great to see what a family business this is!). Again, he was very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and striking that balance between helping and giving us the space to figure out what was best for us. The checked with three different suppliers and got exactly what we wanted and got it here quickly. When I came back to pick the rings up and pay the balance I got to interact with Michelle. Once again... bright, friendly and very helpful. She gave me a number of tips on keeping the rings in top condition and all three congratulated us on the upcoming wedding before I left. Horrible. They try hard, but they're amateur hour if you're trying to get a high end watch repair. If you have a watch beyond a Timex in value, DO NOT use these watch butchers. Brought two watches to these clowns. One was destroyed as they broke one of the small hands in the chronograph and the other they marked trying to pry it open. I soooooo miss Donahoe Jewelers. What a wonderful jewelry store! I dropped off my Seiko Star Wars R2-D2 watch. I wasn't sure if they would be able to fix it, but not only did they do so, but did so within a week! That may not sound like much, but it is a very limited edition and parts and service can only be gotten from Japan if they are needed. On both occasions I visited, as soon as I entered the store the staff was amazingly friendly and went over the top to be helpful, even researching the watch and calling Seiko in New Jersey for more information. While I was waiting, I was able to see some of the beautiful items of jewelry that they carry, not to mention hearing how helpful and friendly they were toward other customers in the same manner they were to me. These days it can be difficult to find a store that has employees who truly value and appreciate their customers. There is not a doubt in the world that I will absolutely be giving them my business again in the near future! read more

Just moved to the Woodlands, found tis place on yelp, needed a new battery for two of my father-in-law's watched. $15 for one battery and 25 for a battery and deep clean for the other. Much less stressful and much more professional than going to Walmart or anywhere else you think you and get a cheap battery change. Free garage parking. I would recommend! read more

A friend in The Woodlands recommended Cassio a few years ago when I needed to have an opal ring repaired. The ring was my mom's and had been made by my dad so it is a special piece. Craig made the effort to source opal and cut it for the setting as I had 3 stones that had cracked. The original opals all had a bluish cast to them and finding something to match was impossible. Craig found rough material that would work well with the existing stones, cut the opals and then reset several stones so they all worked together beautifully. I was very pleased with the work and appreciated the care that was taken. Recently I had two more rings repaired and sized. Again, the workmanship was excellent. I wouldn't trust repairs to anyone else. I've had the opportunity to look at some of the jewelry in the display cases and have some seen some beautiful items. And since they do custom work, I plan to take some old pieces and have something remade soon. read more

We first went to Cassio for repairs to my wife's wedding ring. The people couldn't be nicer and they managed to fix the ring quickly and inexpensively. They also found a loose diamond in another ring, fixed that, and also replaced batteries in two watches, including a Tissot which is very difficult and usually has to be done in Europe. LYING, THEIVING, SNOBS -- Stay away from this place!!! I took my engagement ring and wedding bands in for resizing. The receptionist said he'd have the "master jeweler" call me because he wasn't sure they'd be able to resize the engagement ring without replacing the head. I told him I wanted to keep the head because of sentimental value. Some days later I get a call from the master jeweler and am told he must replace its head to resize it. I explain to him the sentimental value and agree to the new head only if he saves the old one for me. When I pick up the engagement ring its missing the head. I politely decline to pay until the head is found. The receptionist snatches the ring and storms off into the back room. Moments later the master jeweler comes out and asks for the ring. I tell him the receptionist has it, he spins on his heal and mutters under his breath, "good." After some time he returns, hands me a packet of "scraps" and tells me he thinks some of the pieces may have been from my ring. He says I "never told him to save the head," then blames me because I "made the job so difficult." I left feeling so low and insulted. I was treated like a liar and thief and humiliated in front of my daughter. I am sure they will respond to this review with some snarky response, to which I say: Cassio Creations, you are LYING, THEIVING, SNOBS. Shame on you. read more

I had my Longines watch serviced here, and it is now running great! I noticed that the watch got new scratches on the back side of the case, presumably from the watch maker trying to open/close the watch case. After pointing this out to them, they took great care of the watch and fix the scratches so that it now looks even better than before! good as new! Great customer service! read more

Real nice, sure, but told me they would fix my bracelets in a couple weeks and it was almost 2 months. When I went to get it them, one was worse than when I took it there and the other broke where they welded it the fifth day I wore it. A ring I had sizing beads put on still spins on my finger. Another ring I had them repair has the diamonds so exposed they scratch my fingers and catch on fabrics. After having a terrible experience with another very well known jeweler in The Woodlands, we were told about Cassio. First of all, we found the owners to be wonderfully friendly and so, having already received my diamond engagement ring, we went to Cassio for our wedding bands. First of all, we were told there that the price of platinum had dropped significantly so we could get a great rate on our rings. (The jeweler where we bought my engagement ring did not bother to tell us of this drop in the price of platinum. In fact all, of the jewelry stores we went to when looking for my ring...Nobody mentioned this but the wonderful folks at Cassio) Not only did our wedding bands come out absolutely beautiful and were well priced but they were made quickly (We waited 6 mos at the other store for my engagement ring---a lot of excuses along the way.) Long story short, we will NEVER go to any jeweler BUT Cassio. Wonderful experience. Headed there tomorrow to pick up a gorgeous ring I had on layaway....LOVE going there. I encourage everyone to go meet Michelle and Craig and look at their jewelry. I promise you'll never want to go anywhere else. read more
