I picked a few items and, after a great deal of time spent debating, decided I couldn't wear any of them (too small, too thin, etc). Cassie, who was taking items off the dressing room rack, engaged me in cheerful conversation about why I didn't like any of those items. After a few minutes of looking around, Cassie walked up with a style of shirt she had personally purchased from there and recommended it to me. It was the perfect size and fit! Thank you to Cassie for making me feel better about myself, and for being energetic enough at 9 at night to talk to customers. I did the self-checkout option--a huge help--and a woman named Dorothy was walking around. She took the metallic tags off my clothes and collected my hangers, and engaged me in similar pleasant conversation. Thank you!! Love the Kohl's staff and their general support.

At the fancy outdoor mall in Rochester Hills in the north burbs of Detroit, this is a really friendly Buckle store with some great goods, and if it wasn't so expensive I would give it an even higher rating. This BB is part of Somerset South. However, it has its own entrance (big plus). It has two floors and a classy, refined interior. Dress shirts and ties are on the ground floor. One thing that immediately distinguishes this store is service. You don't feel like salesman prey when you walk in here. However, the staff is quite knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Amy, the person who helped me, explained that the store has only non-iron shirts in stock but offered to order the non-non-iron kind for me free of shipping cost if desired. After doing my homework on the BB non-iron process and cloth, I decided to try the shirts. Nevertheless, Amy said that she didn't want me to be unhappy. She said that I could wash one of the three shirts I bought, try it on and return the three shirts for an exchange if the washed shirt felt bad (happily, it did not). That's service! I recommend this BB store to those looking for a quality, un-harried clothes shopping experience.

New job, formal company, so since arriving in MI mid-March of this year, I've spent more than $5,000 at this Brooks Bros. One $200 sweater I purchased came back from its first dry cleaning with 3 visible marks where the fabric had torn away. I took it in today simply to swap out and (without even looking up my account history!) was confronted while waiting in line at the register by a guy who looked at it and immediately told me to go pursue reimbursement from the dry cleaner!! I told him please let me get to the register so you guys can look up my account, and he got more firm with me that they're not going to do anything for me. What a flawed business strategy by a high-end retail chain. My money will be well spent elsewhere going forward.

I had some trouble wheeling my mom into the store. The poor ol' building is set aside pretty much all by itself with no other real shops nearby. Everything is neatly arranged. Mom and I each selected one item to purchase but the line was not only long but there was just one cashier who took a lot of time to ring and bag things up. With people ahead of us with plenty of items in their carts we decided to abandon our items and not purchase them. My one beef, and this could just be a me thing that really gets on my nerves, is the entire 45 minutes that we were there someone was vacuuming in this small store. OMG, in that small of a space it sounded like a friggin leaf blower. It rattled my nerves after 20 minutes and I couldn't wait to get out of there! We were there on a Saturday at 1pm - you would think they would blare that vacuum during a more opportune time, like before the store closed. Because it is a smaller store, I swear to God, the vacuum followed me where mom and I decided to look. It was awful, I thought I'd shift sides from the machine and look at women's jeans and dang if she didn't come down that isle with her ear-shattering vacuum. OK, enough about the vacuum, right? I could go on but I know you want me to stop -- aha you are starting to feel my annoyed drift now. LOL Sigh.
