I was tempted to stop into the store several times but I thought it would be a traumatic ordeal…read more One has to be in the right headspace before trying to find the perfect pair of jeans...and my searches had not yet ever led me to the perfect pair. After talking to my stepmom about how much she loves her Madewell jeans, I decided that as soon as I returned home I was going to do it. Not only that...I was going to ask an expert to help me on my mission. That is where Claire came in. With minimal information from me (approx size, styles I like and do not like) she grabbed 2 pair of jeans and put me in a room. I tried in the first pair (10" high rise skinny)and they were made for me. To quote Marie Kondo, they "sparked joy". These are my perfect pair. They are long enough and the little areas that I felt self conscious about in most jeans were no longer noticeable. Could it really have been that easy? I had anticipated trying jeans on for at least an hour and still quite likely not loving a pair enough to spend almost $150 (with tax). But I had success immediately. I need the long length and it's just great that they have some in the store. Such an amazing feeling when your pants are the right length. These pants don't fall down throughout the day at all despite having a ton of stretch. This is the first time in forever I'm not having to wear a belt. I'm in my upper 40's and, despite being thin, I struggle with my stomach area a bit. My body looks great in these and I feel so confident. I am grateful for the return of high rise as it helps hold everything in comfortably. While these pants are speedy, they are 100% worth it. I wish I'd bought them sooner. Instead I bought numerous pairs of jeans that I don't love, that don't look as good as they could and aren't comfortable. The price of these easily exceeded the cost of 3-4 pair of Madewell jeans. These are timeless, good quality and will last forever. They are actually a great deal when I consider all of that. Go on in and find your perfect jeans! I'm sure Claire or anyone else working there will be happy to help you. PS Did you know they do free alterations for you?

The style here is crisp yet relaxed and casual and I love looking goooood while feeling comfortable and not overdone. Madewell does the trick! Unfortunately for me, madewell is on the more expensive side. But also fortunately, madewell has tons of sales to get the price point down to a... somewhat more reasonable level. Still not quite enough to be sporting madewell daily uniforms any time soon, but you make it work. Also! The student discount here is the bomb. With just your school ID, you can tack on an extra 15% off so definitely take advantage. As for comparing this madewell with others, it pretty much fits the bill for your average madewell. Like exactly... in size and layout and service. Very consistent across all locations. This one is situated on 29th street mall, which is nice because it seems you don't have to fight the usual crowds of indoor malls. And it's the very new and only store in Boulder so I'm super thrilled I don't have to make the drive down to Denver anymore!

Ordered an item that I needed within five days, paid an extra $25 for 2-day shipping fee, only to be updated by UPS that the item wouldn't arrive for nine days. Three calls to Athleta customer service where they totally blamed it on UPS. Called UPS who confirmed that Athleta never assigned the item as expedited shipping. UPS is not paid by Athleta until the product arrives, so they could not change the order status. Call back to Athleta who responded with nothing more than "so sorry." Off to Nordstrom's, or perhaps even Lululemon. Never again Athleta!!!

Great store, perfect customer service and beautiful clothes…read more I shop Athleta mostly online because that's where you get the sales (the selection of items on sale is very limited on Pearl Street.) And you can return whatever you don't want to keep at the store in Boulder. The clothes are a little pricey (especially if it's just for exercising),but beautiful and very comfortable. Although Athleta carries mostly athletic apparel, a lot of it is so pretty that I also use it to work. And this morning, they opened the store early and offered breakfast to celebrate back to school day,how great is that?

She was rude the entire time, and "pushy" with the higher end colognes. Every 5 seconds, she'd ask "did you even like any of those", with a very smug, rude voice, seemed like she just wanted the sale to be done and over with. I mean let's use common sense here if I didn't say anything about liking it , then that means I didn't like it. At times I saw her go up to her co workers and talk about me, I knew she was because the co workers would look straight at me after talking to her. If you need cologne/perfume, go to the other one by the Nike, better staff there.

While I was…read moreshopping, I overheard a group of teenage girls talking about an associate behind the register that they said they didn't like. They were actually planning to leave negative feedback and Google reviews about her. It honestly made me feel bad for the employee because she was just doing her job, and personal issues shouldn't be taken into someone's workplace. After reading the reviews later, I noticed several negative ones posted around the same time, which made me wonder if they were connected. When I visited, I was greeted, helped when I needed it, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Let's try to do better and keep personal vendettas out of the workplace. Employees deserve fairness too.

I drove 40 minutes in rush hour to get it and when I got home, I saw the lightener was not in the bag. EVERYTHING else was that would hint a person is highlighting their hair. The woman even checked over my bag and said nothing. So I check my email and after I left the store it said "item unavailable" now wouldn't it be really simple and easy to let someone know when they are at the store something was excluded??? So now I had to ration the little lightener I had and I'm sure there's going to be patches. All because someone couldn't simply say "oh this was unavailable, do you want another size?" Cause they had other sizes!!!!!!

I go on Sat., 50% off most tags day. I always find something, might not be on my list, but always something. I especially like the layout, its is easy, large signs designate the areas and clothes are by size AND color, so easy! We often find brand new, tags still on clothing or items like the hydration pac my husband found today. We have found brand new, never worn pants and jeans for him as well. This place is the best for fake florals, especially if using outdoors. My score today included the exact pillow that matches one I already have for my bed, SWEET!, and a cute little RAE DUNN vase for a dollar! But don't charge 379 for a used vase unless it's actually of some value. Your employees don't wear name tags. The 20 something rude man needs to be fired. You know who I mean. Far too many of your items are broken. I constantly find empty boxes or containers because the items have been removed and stolen. You have a severe stealing problem. I could go on and on about this ARC Longmont. There is zero security in this place and it needs it, desperately. I'm done donating and shopping here.
