Oh the JOY of another ARC, and one closer to me! This one opened April of 2019, and I love it! This coming from the consummate thrift store shopper. Great deals on amazing items to be had. I go on Sat., 50% off most tags day. I always find something, might not be on my list, but always something. I especially like the layout, its is easy, large signs designate the areas and clothes are by size AND color, so easy! We often find brand new, tags still on clothing or items like the hydration pac my husband found today. We have found brand new, never worn pants and jeans for him as well. This place is the best for fake florals, especially if using outdoors. My score today included the exact pillow that matches one I already have for my bed, SWEET!, and a cute little RAE DUNN vase for a dollar! This has been my go to thrift store for many years, and so thrilled to discover the ones here in CO. read more

Your prices are ridiculously high make no sense at all. You have shelves and shelves of flower vases, most of which are crap that came with delivered flowers. They're worth virtually nothing, yet you're charging $3.79 and similar. Put the crap on the lower shelves and charge $0.25, $0.50, $0.99. Have the things that are actually nice on the upper shelves. But don't charge 379 for a used vase unless it's actually of some value. Your employees don't wear name tags. The 20 something rude man needs to be fired. You know who I mean. Far too many of your items are broken. I constantly find empty boxes or containers because the items have been removed and stolen. People rip open bags of multiple items and take out what they want, obviously not paying for them since they don't have price tag on them, leaving a partially full bag hanging there. You have a severe stealing problem. I could go on and on about this ARC Longmont. There is zero security in this place and it needs it, desperately. I'm done donating and shopping here. read more

second time I've gone to this place to recycle items and the items - children's storage bins and children's toys have been refused. absolutely worthless organization! the entire point was to recycle vs dumping at a landfill. not sure if the employee is just lazy or is trying to only take items that generate larger amounts of money. waste of my time, will never attempt to donate there again! read more

They have the rudest employees I have ever seen. I bought a few items (shoes, 4 pair pants , a couple shirts) I havent beeen able to go shopping in at least a year and the Arc was all I could afford. I did not know I would need to bring my own bag. I am disabled from severe arthritis that has made my hands completely deformed and its not something you do not notice. I also had to take the bus. The clerk said sorry "no bags" and walked off, didnt offer me any other alternatives and kind of laughed when she told me. I was struggling to carry it and I didnt know what to do. I wouldnt have bought more then I could carry if I would have known this. After standing in front of the store in the heat and trying to figure out how to carry my stuff I went back in and the first employeee I saw was the loss prevention guy who was in the same spot the enitre time I was there. But as soon as I smiled at him an started to walk his way he glared at me, hands on his hips and wouldnt stop glaring. His ego and chip on his shoulder certainly wouldnt allow any compassion and his cover was blown already when I was shopping to half the people in the store from him and the other loss prevention lady talking very loudly about how they "got" someone who was stealing and they were laughing. Apparently being a loss prevention officer at the ARC is the big time. Even though he saw me check out and standing outside the store strugging with my stuff, I could tell he could care less about anything except his inflated want to be a cop ego and he kinda scared me. I ended up walking to Big Lots and buying a bag from them so I could carry it. It was embarrassing and degrading. I felt like I was standing with my laundry outside the store and trying to hold two pair of shoes on top of it. They say they employ and help disabled people? As a disabled person I have never been treated so badly by employees in a retail store. I spent over 50.00 on second hand clothes and was laughed at and humilated. One of my favorite thrift stores! Some prices can be a bit high, but I feel like that is every thrift store now. I always find my favorite pieces here - vintage levi's, cardigans, home decor, books, etc. If you enjoy thrifting you could spend hours in here! read more

Great set up. This is a better version of our Salvation Army Thrift stores back home. Better layout, better customer service, and great merchandise to choose from. I love shopping at thrift stores, specially ones like this store. Everything was cheap and mainly in great condition. So much to look at I wasn't able to stay long enough to look at all the women's clothes. They had a huge selection. Will try to go back and visit them again before we leave Colorado. read more

It's rare to come across such an organized thrift store! The books are organized by genre & everything in the home goods section was organized by color and what the product was. Everything was also really clean & in good condition. I came on a 50% off Saturday and I was pleasantly surprised that there were 4(!) different colors on sale instead of the typical one! I have never been so uncomfortable in an Arc Thrift Store in my life than at the Longmont location on Main Street. The manager Katrina has made my experience horrible every time I have entered the store. I am a frequent shopper and I have not been in the store once that I have not heard her be disrespectful to myself and other customers. She has used racial slurs and has cursed at customers who are simply just shopping. She is so unpleasant that I dread even entering the store. This unprofessionalism is not a good look for The Arc. I will not be back to this location. read more

I love this thrift store - I could shop all day! Today makes my second time here and it just seems to get better and better. They have an awesome women's clothing section although some areas are not broken down by size like the others. A lot of new and barely used items, some prices seemed high but today I was lucky enough to find 2 50% off tags, then you can't beat the prices. All of their departments are well marked and well stocked. Their housewares department was especially delightful. I spent 1 1/2 hours there and could have shopped longer. Great store. read more
