Earlier this month I went it to purchase two gift cards: one for a newborn girl and one for a little toddler girl. I noticed that the store only had two types of cards on display: one that was gender neutral and one for little boys. I would've purchased the gender neutral card, but both were going to the same family and I didn't want the parents to be confused about which card went to which little cousin. I asked the manager if they had any other designs to choose from and without hesitation she enthusiastically searched around until she found two brand new designs - one of a little toddler girl and one with cutesy zoo animals. They were perfect! The manager and the sale associates on the floor were a welcoming crew and I left the store eager to return :)

But this location was a pleasant surprise! They've set up a really nice central area dedicated to home decor, and it actually feels thoughtfully arranged. There are even a few fun jump scares throughout the store to add to the Halloween vibe. The aisles are well spaced, clearly organized by movie themes or costume types, which made it super easy to find exactly what we were looking for. They also had a lot of extra Halloween themed goodies like blankets, socks, and other fun home items, not just the usual costumes and props. The prices were competitive, and the selection was still strong when we visited. I'm guessing things will get picked over the closer we get to Halloween, but for now, it's definitely worth checking out. Today, the store manager decided it was prudent to eavesdrop on a private conversation I was having with my disabled daughter. This "store manager" made outrageous claims and threatened to inform her district manager about me. This same "store manager" refused to provide even her first name. The issue was that the so called manager was demanding the other associate to help customers while she stood behind the counter appearing to not be doing anything. While waiting in line another customer jumped the line and this "manager" helped them without any delay. When my daughter looked at me questioning what was happening we began talking. The associate ordered to help customers was struggling with basic tasks such as inputting a customer phone number for their rewards program. She was friendly, but slow and appeared to need additional training. Training, service, and the issues my daughter and I observed were discussed while waiting for the associate to retrieve my paid order. My primary concern is the disrespectful behavior and unprofessionalism of this supposed nameless manager. Not only did I call her out for discrimination when she claimed it was acceptable for her to interrupt our conversation, but also claim I was being loud. Perhaps a loud whisper is her definition of loud, but when my daughter has multiple disabilities including hearing loss, this "manage" is discriminating against the customers of the store. Then to threaten to tattle about my concern to her DM is just comical. I'd LOVE to speak to her DM! 0/5 stars. I would never recommend this location due to this middle aged blonde "manager" and her behavior. I will not shop this location ever again. I love finding "finds" in the clearance section, sometimes you can get a super good deal. The only thing I think that can be worked on is the fitting rooms. They need an update because they look really run down and smell really weird. It's hard to try on clothes when you desperately don't want to touch the ground, walls or bench.
