I was devastated & hysterical at how badly my face had broken out, with just 10 weeks until our wedding! Dr Noodleman, & his amazing staff, put me at ease IMMEDIATELY, promising me that, not only was their primary focus to alleviate my pain & discomfort ASAP, but to have me looking my best well in advance of wedding day. I knew right away that they cared about me as a person, & understood how important it was to me to have clear skin on my wedding day! At this time, I didn't have insurance, & Dr Noodleman made sure whatever prescriptions & treatments he prescribed were something we could easily afford. He & his staff worked tirelessly to try to get me in touch with a pharmaceutical rep who could (hopefully) get me on a trial run of a new FDA drug that would essentially shut down my eczema altogether. He said it was my best option for long term treatment, but he would continue to do everything he could get me past this breakout & through my wedding day. Thanks to Dr Noodleman, & every fabulous office staff member, not only did I get a trial run of the wonder drug (it saved me!) but he has continued to follow up with me to make sure 1) I was feeling confident the week before my wedding 2) that I was able to get the new medication & it was working for me 3) that there was nothing more he or his staff could do for me to make sure I was feeling & looking my best Never have I ever had any type of doctor who I felt was so genuinely invested in my care, my needs & my quality of life. Such disrespect and condescending natures among the staff members here--it's absolutely abhorrent. My mother was here recently seeking the medical services and advice of Dr. Bert Tardieu for some unsightly shoulder pain as a result of an injury she sustained. However, rather than any useful medical advice, what she received instead was a large serving of horrendous bedside manner and a side of disrespect. Dr. Tardieu failed to treat my mother. During this appointment--a whopping 15 minutes at best, mind you--He proceeded to talk over her, belittle her and even talk down to her. Whilst cross examining her symptoms to the image report that he received he made my mother feel extremely uncomfortable. He down played her pain and borderline made her feel like it was a fabricated event. By the end of the appointment, my mother was practically racing for the door--and I truly don't blame her. When I asked for the names of the PT's that he was referring her to, he responded simply, " Well, I don't know their names but I know that they're probably pretty good." How on Earth does a doctor not know the names of the physical therapists IN HIS OWN PRACTICE that he plans on sending a patient to?? Dr. Tardieu is incredibly arrogant. I sincerely believe that he would benefit greatly from some re-education ON ALL FRONTS... because he is the LEAST patient focused individual I've ever interacted with in the medical field. With that said, if you choose to "receive care" at this location--be advised--you are not entering a care facility. You are being churned in and out of a patient factory that cares more about what your insurance will pay versus alleviating the pain you are suffering from. There are a few caring souls sprinkled throughout the facility, but most are impatient, will ignore your questions and be unnecessarily rude when they speak to you. Six days post injury I was in surgery with Dr. Mark C Howard at the surgery center in Monterey. I was very nervous as it was my first major surgery. The nurses and staff at the surgery center were great at my bedside and helped me relax. Following a successful surgery I was routed to physical therapy. Kevin was my main PT Doctor and he supported me on my journey even when I didn't have faith in myself.
