The front desk staff is polite and attends to your needs as quickly as they can. I do wish that physicians would utilize RNs for patient care, because medical assistants just do not have the knowledge to make relevant observations regarding patients, their needs or complaints. I have had painful office procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic injections) and Dr. Heyne performed those competently and gently. I never got the feeling he was hurrying me along, and he'd stop during a procedure in order for me to regain my wits. My hip surgery was carried out using the less invasive anterior (near the groin) approach. My only complaint, and this is not the doctor's fault, but I was booted out of the hospital way too quickly after my procedure.

Within 5 minutes of meeting him, and his review of my most recent MRI, he opined that I can continue to do the things I am trying to make work, but nothing will "fix" me without surgery.
