They have water bottles and hot tea for you while you wait or for after your session. I checked in at the front and was immediately taken back to a massage room. The room is very nice and clean with relaxing music playing in the background as well as nature sounds of water. The lights are dim to your level of comfort. You can remove as much or as little clothing as you like. I laid down on the comfortable table and waited for my masseuse. You can choose a male or female masseuse when you make your appointment. Laura came in and described what she was going to do. She asked if I had any areas on my body that were bothering me. I let her know my low back is an ongoing issue. I really appreciated that she asked me that and how much pressure I would like for the massage. I have to say, this was one of the best massages I have ever had. She did a combo of deep tissue and Swedish massage all over my body and also focused more on my low back. The hot stones felt really good and the heat level was just right. It was so relaxing and therapeutic. I really liked my experience with Laura. She helped my back feel better which is a miracle. I will definitely be coming back here again for more services. Parking is fine with three spots in front of the business and more areas to park on the sides. It did not seem like a busy area and parking does not seem to be an issue here. Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. Now, she isn't going to be everybody's cup of tea, especially if you're expecting a relaxing pampering massage to fall asleep. I appreciate that type of massage, but this time I came in with acute back pain. She honed in and went right to it. Honestly, at first it seemed rougher, but it was clear her expertise provided the relief I needed. I did not even mention any other pain points but as she worked, she identified three other pain areas that I've been dealing with for months. That's how I knew she has a keen understanding of how the body should move and feel, and the skill to guide my muscles/fascia back to where they should be to be able to function properly and without pain. She adjusted her technique as she felt my body could tolerate (e.g. she threw in some Thai massage technique to lengthen and stretch at the end). After 60 minutes, my pain levels reduced significantly from 7/10 to 2/10. I couldn't believe it! My heel pain of six months was gone! I greeted the receptionist when she answered, but there was no greeting in return. I explained that I was calling to schedule a new-client appointment, and her immediate response was, "OK, what date are you looking at?" I then asked what the schedule looked like, but rather than answering my question, she continued asking what specific days I was looking for. She also interrupted me while I was speaking. The issue was not necessarily the question she asked, but the tone and manner in which they were communicated. It came across as very abrupt, dismissive, and as though assisting me was an inconvenience. At one point, she said, "We are open 7 days a week, so what days are you looking at?" Again, it was the tone and delivery that made the interaction feel unprofessional. At that point, I decided not to move forward with scheduling an appointment and chose to look elsewhere. I understand that everyone can have a busy day, but when someone is calling as a potential new client, a basic level of courtesy and professionalism can make a big difference. Given the positive reviews I had seen, I was expecting a much better first impression.

My daughter was unaware of that and did not use the gift card "in time" I am more than aware of legal codes as I will be taking legal action against them. California Civil Code 1749.5 states that it is unlawful for any person or entity to sell a gift certificate to a purchaser that contains any of the following: (1) An expiration date. Having an expiration date on the card goes against this law and I will be filing a complaint with the California consumer protection agency against this business. I called to let them know about this and they claimed they could not survive in business if they honored the gift card. How is that possible if I pre-paid for a massage, did not get the service, and now they have my money? How can they run a business without knowing basic law concerning businesses? I will never return here but will be getting my money back one way or another. Attached are their exact text messages to me after our phone call.
