Oh my my! Adriane is a geek at natural healing and intrinsic balance using age old practices of hydration and living with less is more attitude. Getting an appointment through yelp was easy peasy for a 1 hour facial and she was waiting for me at the appointed time. There was a bit of confusion on finding suite C it's the door that's farther from the street but she came out to take me into her studio. The facial room which she calls 'elements' is cozy but the attentive service makes up for the space. She wants to always give you an experience based on your expectations and asked questions upfront on what I need addressed as part of the facial. After listening to them she went on to use a combination of steam, extraction, massage and hydration. She also added in a shoulder massage and hand massage which almost felt like I got a half body massage with the facial products she used were mostly natural or handmade by her! She also used essential oils and towards the end of the massage used some bells and cymbals which made the experience soulful. Post the facial I had questions on her products and she gave me a glimpse of her choices and way of life which are all about being in line with nature. Wow! One simple word to describe the spiritual massage sound therapy experience with Adriane. It's unlike any massage I ever received. As I entered the space I felt a sense of calmness due to the aromatherapy and crystals. Then she started to play my favorite Ayahuasca music and used a device called Ryobi to release the body from all tension within seconds. It's a strong device - essentially a car buffer. I felt as if I instantly transformed into jelly. Then I smelled some aromatherapy which she picked especially for me.
