It's obvious that she has a lot of loyal regular clients for all of her services and I noticed that she even has several male clients that get facials. Although my skin is in fairly good condition, I do have some pores that have congestion. I was a bit reluctant to try but since I trust Nancy and she's gotten great reviews, I decided to get a facial. I have no idea why I assumed only women got them but I did. Since it was my first time I asked Nancy to let me know what she was doing as she went along. Every step of the process, Nancy explained what she was doing and why. She even told me about the products she was using. I really enjoyed that and appreciated the extra effort. Not only does she take good care of your skin she adds a shoulder, neck and arm massage to really complete the overall experience. I couldn't believe how smooth my skin felt right after my facial but also for days to follow. It was very refreshing, relaxing and my pores were clear. The facial was definitely beyond my expectations so I was extremely pleased. I will definitely continue to get facials in addition to getting my regular massage therapy sessions. I was optimistic that I'd find my go-to local facial spot after reading reviews, however I had an…read moreunpleasant experience with Nancy, for multiple reasons: 1) She was 15 mins late for our 10am appt 2) I happened to mention at the start of our appt that I had a massage scheduled for later. Nancy let me know she provides massage services as well. Despite expressing I'm happy with my massage therapist, she spent the entire appointment prying about him (location, experience, etc) in what seemed like an attempt to convince me she is better. Even when the subject changed, she repeatedly came back to it. 3) She prides herself on including a complimentary neck and upper back massage as a part of the facial (mentioned it to me on the phone and text). However, when I requested more pressure during the massage portion, she became defensive and said, "This is a facial, not a massage" and that I should schedule a massage if that's what I want. I did not feel like my muscles were massaged at all. If you're going to include a massage of your own accord, why be so defensive when the client makes a request regarding pressure? It was uncomfortable. 4) I got two dark spots on my face where Nancy did extractions. This has never happened before. I texted to ask about it and she insinuated it's because I'm Indian and Indian women tend to have hyperpigmentation in general... despite my saying I've never had this issue. Overall, I did not feel she was professional or knowledgeable and did not appreciate her attitude. Giving 2 stars because the products seem like high quality.

I do understand that every person has different skin types and healing processes. This is why Monica requires you to fill out a form prior to you first appointment to inform her of any existing skin concerns, what products you are using, and what type of of results you hope to achieve. I love that Monica is able to personalize every treatment based on my current concerns without pushing anything outside of my comfort level. Along with facials, I have done the body sculpting service twice. One was before attending a wedding and another was before a vacation. It was perfect because I had already been exercising regularly, so the results of the body sculpting went well in my situation. It was super relaxing and I could definitely feel a difference in my stomach area. After the body sculpting, the bloating reduced and my core area was definitely tighter and more defined.
