530 on a Thursday - we'd been soooo looking forward to trying Jamison's out! Waited 10 minutes at a 1/2 empty bar to get service while the bartender gabbed. 15 minutes to get a beer. Then another 20 for a standard Manhattan - while the bartender served & cleared other patrons! Service was cold, not even courteous: what do you want? Didn't even ask if we'd like a menu. We are heartbroken and have zero plans of giving Jamison's a 2nd chance. PS the $12 Manhattan was Not even done correctly! :( read more

The food was good. The service was great! Everyone was welcoming and friendly. I want to especially thank one of the staff members that came after us when we were on our way out because we did not see anything on the dining room menu that we wanted(burgers). She chased us to see if there was a problem then explained that there was a different menu at the bar. She went out of her way to check if there was something she could do and then had us immediately seated. Thank you! read more

This review is purely regarding the high chairs. They have wheels on them, which is convenient until your toddler pushes from the table and glides half way across the restaurant while you're trying to cut your steak . Good food and service. Tried a new place on my restaurant list last night. A little bit of a ride from Hudson but well worth it. Very busy but they got us in in just a sort bit. Started off with the cheese board enough for 4 to share. The entree's were beautifully plated and tasted even better. The pork chop melted in your mouth. I highly recommend that dish. The stuffed statler chicken breast was delicious. Service was great we would definitely go back again. They even have live music in the bar. read more

I get it, it's a new place, staff isn't up to speed but we waited 45 minutes for appetizers and 30 minutes for a drink order. Waiter was very apologetic and we were very understanding however the menu is very limited and my specialty sandwich was no more than a cold meatball sub I didn't send it back because it took so long to get food and I haven't decided but I think they use frozen meatballs. Not impressed. My daughter got pizza and said it was good. Maybe we will wait a few months and I'll try it again, definatley not on my radar anytime soon. read more

We usually sit at the bar and the service and drinks are very good. Very limited menu and a bit pricey for flatbreads.

We stopped in during their opening earlier today. We had delicious Reuben egg rolls and tasty buffalo chicken wings for apps. Split the Jamison's signature pizza which was great. Huge beer selection included some locals like Stoneface/Great North and standards like Ballast Point/Founders. Friendly and attentive staff behind the bar made sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of TVs as well makes this a good spot to watch any games. read more

Atmosphere is great, service was good but will not be returning. Menu extremely limited and very expensive. Food was fair at best. Dark meat only in the pot pie, salmon was undercooked twice even after return, rice was blah though asparagus was good but not for $23 at lunchtime. Went on St. Patrick's not a seat open but near the door. It was freezing. Ordered Irish nachos maybe 3 pieces of corned beef on it. Green beer was fun and free tickets for prizes and bud girls. So loud couldn't hear the dj or even ourselves talk. Shepards pie was disappointing and it was on the special. Overloaded with brown gravy. It shouldve been offered on the side. Never brought our side salad til we asked. We never got the stuffed peppers we orderd and never got even an apology..The icing on the cake was when the hostess asked if we were leaving yet. We still had our drinks. 5 minutes later she comes back and gives us "a parting gift" from the owner or door prize! They didntg care about us as repeat customers. They wanted friends and family in apparently. We wanted to celebrate, have some drinks and a good meal. She kept coming back and put reserved on the table before we even left. Overall epic fail. Sorry to say, we were so disappointed in our first time at Jamisons. Food was average at best, no taste, bland. Lisa our waitress was fine but seemed to focus on a family of folks that she knew. there were only 2 other tables busy with 2 waitresses but no one thought to ask if we wanted bread before our meal (I finally asked) Very disappointing, won't be going back. "Filled the hole" as my mom used to say as we were both hungry. I made sure i told Lisa how we felt about the meal. prices were fine but the cole slaw was bland, no seasoning, nothing (come on how can you screw up cole slaw?) . Spaghetti sauce, way too sweet, couldn't taste anything other than tomato sauce and sugar. We so wanted to like it! We've been hoping for a good local restaurant since the Village square closed. Two out of Five Stars at best. read more

Their food is really good... when they have it. They're ALWAYS out of something on the menu, and they're constantly out of beer. It's like they buy baby kegs or something. I live locally, and have been here a whole bunch of times - I've literally never gone without SOMEONE in the group being told the food/beer they ordered wasn't available. They're a little pricier than they should be, and the bar side is loud even when it's mostly empty - the dining side can sometimes give you a hard time about ordering beer from the bar menu, which is crazy since they have such a great selection over there. The service is usually TERRIBLE, a lot of the servers are rude and unattentive (on the bar side - the service is usually ok on the dining side). The food quality is good, the pizza is the best around - if the service were better, the prices slightly less, and if they actually had what was on the menu (a couple weeks ago someone in my group ordered meatloaf - they were out. Shepard's pie instead, they were out - pretty tough for a bar menu that only has like 5 entrees to be out of 2. Someone else ordered a beer, and they were out of that too) it'd be awesome! read more

I went not too long ago- this place is phenomenal. The atmosphere is contagious- everyone is up beat, fun & the mood is uplifting. Huge selection of beers, tap selection is outstanding. (BOOMSAUCE is delicious). Waiter was attentive, helpful, funny, and made our experience even better as it was our first time- answered any and all questions we had and even gave recommendations (if you go, highly suggest requesting Anthony if he's working). Food was great- I had the salmon meal which was seasoned great and my Memere had pizza- off the charts. Would recommend to all my friends and family, experience was all around outstanding! Place is awesome since the redo- love the sports bar theme although still highly modern. read more

I am so livid I am writing this after my experience here tonight. Keeping in mind we had many options for restaurants in the area, I went in here for a nice dinner with my family. We waited 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, waiter came over and apologized...said they were having a band tonight and it just got crazy. Waiter was very nice so we moved on from that...took 15 minutes to get our beers, fine. Enjoyed our meals, were excited to hear what the band was like. It seemed as though the majority of the people coming in were friendly with the band members and a lot of people knew each other. We finished our meals, my parents ordered another beer. Kristen, who was a manager/hostess (?) came up and asked us if we were here for the band. We told her we were eager to hear some songs. She removed our empty glasses and went on her way. We noticed the front two tables closest to the stage were leaving and right away the owner and another employee were clearing the tables and putting chairs up so no one was being seated there. It was obvious to me at that point that they were trying to clear these tables for a "dance floor." Minutes later I noticed Kristen turning around and looking at our table multiple times while speaking to a group of people. Honest, I knew what was coming next. Next thing I know, she was walking up to our table. She approached us and came over to say, and I quote..."It's totally fine if you guys are here to stay, but I just want to let you know that there are people who are here for the band that are looking at your table." I am going to paraphrase the rest. My mother went on to say that she could see that we were being eyed at by multiple people which was not cool...she said well yeah I know, I hope they aren't making you feel uncomfortable. She went on to add, well everybody here knows each other. What does that have to do with anything? We are PAYING PATRONS, at your restaurant (that we are NEVER coming back to). This is not your first Yelp review where people were rushed out of their tables. I don't care which Tom, Dick or Harry wants to sit down, never in my life have I ever been approached by an employee and told that people want to sit at my table in a restaurant. If you are going to reserve tables for bands' friends, put reserved signs down. If I have a time limit for how long I can be in your restaurant, I should have been told before I was seated. If you are going to rush people out of their tables to create a "dance floor", do not put tables there. What would Bar Rescues' John Taffer say???? Kristen did not walk up to any of the other three tables surrounding us, which confused us even more. We later approached her to let her know that she made us feel very uncomfortable. She then tried to tell me that she only approached us because "people were eyeing our table asking when we were leaving or if we were there to stay" and that I was "staring at her" and she wasn't not going to approach someone who was staring at her. What? I am a patron at your restaurant. She then went on to say that she did in fact walk up to multiple other tables in the restaurant asking how long they were staying (never heard of this in my life)...because people were coming in who wanted to be seated. Sorry, is that how the restaurant business works? You approach customers in your restaurant asking when they are leaving? I have never had an experience like this ever. We felt targeted, picked out of the crowed because we didn't seem like we were there for the band, it was uncalled for and extremely rude. We had every right to be there tonight, as did every other paying customer. And can someone answer why you dowse your $16 cheese platter in honey? Back to the Pasta Loft I go. read more
