RENTER BEWARE! My family and I have rented from Jamison Property Management for 3 years. It is impossible to quickly explain our experience. For the entire duration of our rental, Jamison has been extremely unprofessional, and disrespectful. This is the only reason we moved out as this would no longer be tolerated. As a result you lost perfect renters, and the property is still unoccupied. Most of these reviews are positive, and comforting. However; they are mostly from home owners. While I understand not all experiences are the same. Home owners I urge you to reach out to ensure your renters experience has been nothing like ours. Just because we are renters does not mean we are poor, uneducated, and are not respectable individuals. If I pay my rent on time in full every month, and care for the property as if it were my own. I expect to be treated accordingly. We are home owners in the state of Nebraska, and are currently using a property management company too. On average management companies receive 10-14% to manage the property. If you were managing my property and I discovered how you were treating my good renters, I would submit my notice to you immediately. This company should not even be in business! Pure slumlords and scam artists. I have documented maintenance requests , photos and emails showing a full two years of complaints and nasty responses in regards to the constant flooding of this property which turned out to be the SEWAGE line backing up and flooding on us. When I asked to be absolved from our our lease before the pandemic, I was told no. When I asked after they hadn't resolved the issue for the THIRD time I was denied. But when I called a lawyer and threatened legal action, I was almost forced out of the property I never made a late payment on. Jennifer (manager) requested I leave within two weeks so they could remedy the issue, giving no replacement unit, no refunding of any of the months rent we suffered in a contaminated space, just a constant request to get our things and leave. All we were told was "we'll even give you your deposit back, which was supposed to be refunded by law and binding contract anyway. Oh and they agreed to pay the electricity bill they ran up with their equipment running in our home day and night, which they never paid by the way. This place has a ton of issues the owner & property management (and plumbing company rep - yes, they talk) knew about prior to move in and rigged by the way. Pictures 1-5 are from MOVE IN. The filters were so nasty and clogged we had a HVAC guy out the first month. Water was noted and reported the FIRST WEEK and I was told "just wipe it off." The last 3 photos are how we lived for 1 of the last 2 months of our lease because we couldn't move in 2 weeks (we were in the middle wedding planning and buying our house thank God). And when I expressed concerns that my toddler was exposed to ALL of this Jennifer insinuated I was making a poor choice as a parent. To top it off, they gave us HALF of our deposit back because we didn't shampoo the carpets... $450 for cleaning?? Stay FAR away from these people, and that includes the janky houses they're haphazardly "renovating" and selling as is - yes we saw that in our house hunting too. read more

They are deceptive. They say one thing and refer you to fine print. They left a garage full of debris when we moved in and told us to just throw it away. Their customer service and return of emails and phone calls is non existent. They withhold money from deposit in an unjustifiable way. Other than Jane, they are not nice to deal with. read more

I am relocating and needed my property managed. My real estate agent recommended this company, not sure why. Upon our initial conversation a week ago, I was told that they would get some information over to me. Two follow up phone calls and a week later, nada! Poor customer service/interaction. Amazing experience with Jamison Realty. Paul took the time to visit with my wife and I when we decided to sell our home earlier this year. He coached us through staging, marketed our house with excellence, and got us under contract in four days after over five offers. Unlike many realtors, Paul kept answering the phone after we went under contract. He held our hands through inspection and appraisal, and even when a few things didn't go our way was there to help us keep the big picture in mind. After we sold our home, Paul was exceptionally patient with us as we had very specific desires for our future home. He went above and beyond to answer our questions, even helping us out with making an offer while he was on vacation. Service doesn't get better than that. In the end, Paul found us the exact home we had been hoping for. We cannot recommend him highly enough, and I hope that you will give him a call the next time you need to buy or sell a home. Rented a house from the web site. We moved up from Greenville SC. The web site listed the home for $1400 per month. We looked at the house and were preparing the deposit when we were informed that the "home owner" now wants $1750 due to the quickness we wanted the rental. I declined. I really needed a home for my family. So I called back a few weeks later and offered $1550 for a one year lease. They agreed and we moved in. This house is 70+ years old which is fine with us. No grass in the yard, no keys to lock or unlock some exterior doors. paint peeling, stucco cracked all over the walls, multiple pains of glass cracked or missing. The house was rough but we needed it so we moved in. In fine print on the lease agreement the renter must give 60 days notice when moving out. I sent an email in June asking about month to month which I was not replied to. At 30 days out before out lease was up I called Jamison Reality and let them know we would be moving in August and our lease ends 8-31-14. They walked the property and said we would receive 100% of our $1550 deposit and all was well. The GM of Jamison seemed like a nice enough person and professional like my self and we got along well. When I called the office several times the front desk person said the check was cut and in the mail on 3 separate calls. The GM was never in the office and would not return my calls. Strange...Jamison says we forfeit our lease agreement by not giving a proper 60 day notice. Here is the kicker. We moved out 8-31-14. Jamison said our move out date was the end of the following month and we owed another $1550. The house was empty. While they were expecting payment from me they were doing a major over haul to the interior of the home that lasted the whole month. I took photos with time stamps for legal reasons. We lost out to the bully. Life is full of bullies $1550 is not worth my time to deal with a business that $1550 is all that matters. Just like the other reviews repairs and maintenance were a joke and they blamed me for damage to a shower room wall. The stucco in the shower where it meets the tile was black with mold and deteriorated when we moved in. They took their own pictures. They said the home owner was not interested in repairs. All the blame from Jamison perspective is on the home owner in this case. I asked what are you doing working with a home owner that makes your business look so bad? I plane to let every one know what kind of rental program they run. read more

Renting from them is a nightmare. They don't understand the language in a lease agreement and take much too long to respond to any repair requests, if they do at all. Be careful dealing with them. Have enough money for an attorney and a good one. read more

Mr. Jamison and I had a disagreement concerning a business matter with my rental property. Maybe with a bit of discussion along the way, Mr. Jamison came to me and admitted that he was in error and asked for my forgiveness. On that day, I discovered what is a beautiful soul who cares deeply for others all the time. We all make mistakes at times, its how you respond that means most going forward. We used the group to buy and sell us a home 6/2016. They did an amazing job at selling my home but didn't follow thru with our contract during our purchase of the new home even through I kept asking about these things via phone calls, emails and texting. We ended up with $4000 of major repairs after closing because all they wanted to do was close the deal and NOT represent the client in the buying process. read more

The worst rental agency ever. They expect you to fix any problems that come up in the rental or they want the neighbors to do it so they can save some money. I was out of town one weekend with my parents and because we drove my car and my parents left theirs at the house we had call after call as to why their car was parked at the house. The homeowner to the house makes unannounced visits. This has by far been the worst ever renting experience. read more

I would never recommend this business to anyone. When I rented a house from them, the house wasn't ready on move-in day. I advised them of what needed to be done, including painting and several repairs. They promised to get them done and never did. My roommate broke the lease and they kicked me out. After several emails, they said I could stay but my children had to leave. They were adults and not on the lease. They had me have them apply to be on the lease, pay the fee to apply and then rejected them. They didn't give a reason. They told me I would get my security deposit back in less than 30 days. They took the full 30 days and then deducted $285 for cleaning even though I scrubbed the place clean before I left. They don't care about people. I would think twice about renting someplace if they are involved in any way. read more

If could give this company a negative 5 stars I would!! We just moved out of a rental that we have lived in for 4 years. Every 4 months they would send out a maintenance person to check to make sure the house is being taken care of and if their are any problems. Never had any issues.. we just moved out in the beginning of June and we waited a month to hear about our security deposit.. we called and they said the check was processing. Now we receive a letter in the mail stating that we didn't clean the unit,they need $1100 to paint and fix wholes in the walls that were there when we moved in.. Thank the heavens we have pictures of all the problems documented prior to moving in time stamped and dated. We even had the unit professionally cleaned prior to moving.. their chief maintenance consultant Chieftan is a complete rude and unprofessional individual!! Do not use this company they will try and gouge you to make money off of you regardless of if you can eat off the floor!! Find a better company to deal with.. Not worth the hassle that we will have to deal with now to get our security deposit back read more
