I should have known that being able to get an eye exam appointment the same day was a red flag. My…read moreinstincts were correct. This is simple a storefront to charge you outrageous fees. Exam covered by insurance ok. $189 "fitting fee" to keep me in the same exact contacts I came in with. What a joke. Also, a $39 fee for using the latest technology and not having to dilate my eyes with drops. Been wearing the same contacts for 30 years. Also tried to tell me I have dry eyes three times so they can sell me overpriced drops I guess. In my 59 years on this planet I have never complained about or told that I have dry eyes by any optometrist. Left with a $205 bill and didn't even order contacts. This place is a joke and a scam. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO THIS SCAMTOMETRIST. 0 stars if I could.

I can't say enough positive things about the staff at Visual Eyes. From the moment I approached the outside glass office door I was greeted by Lindsay with a big smile. I knew then that this was going to be a very positive experience. The rest of the staff was incredibly friendly, approachable, patient, and readily available to answer my questions. They made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer and a person and this is now my go-to store for all my vision issues. Blessie, who does the preliminary exam, took her time to explain the process and what was going to happen using the new technology, Dr. Small who was incredibly kind and patient, provided the best and by far the most thorough eye examination I've ever had and I'm pushing 80 and last but certainly not least there is the very patient Tim who helped me pick out two pair of glasses based on my color and financial preference from their fantastic selection of eyewear. I was never rushed nor was I pressured to buy anything. Actually, I was going to purchase three pair but Tim didn't think the third pair was needed and in hindsight he is correct. I apologize for the long review but I believe this group of people deserve to be recognized for their wonderful customer service, professionalism and patient care as this is sometimes lacking in other stores I've shopped in. After this visit I believe I can highly recommend Visual Eyes and their staff to others.

Pros: Victor (owner) does seem overwhelmingly friendly... at least before they get your money…read more thats about it. Cons: The selection of frames is VERY limited. Compare this store to a real upscale optical store and you will see the difference. Most of the frames they do carry are close-outs. In other words they specialize in older style frames that they acquire at huge discount. However, it does NOT reflect their prices. Their prices are even higher than at most other stores. I made a huge mistake by filing my RX prescriptions at this store. They were supposed to get done in 3 days. When I stopped by in 3 days they told me that they were overwhelmed with orders and simply didnt have a chance to work on my order yet. Another week passed... they never called. When I confronted them again, they actually told me that they lost my frame!!! VERY dishonest people. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Take your business somewhere else.
