My husband had the red sauce, mozzarella, banana peppers, sausage, pepperoni, and green peppers. I had the signature white sauce, mozzarella, spinach, green peppers, and olives. We haven't tried the New York style yet. My husband and I are now big fans. We grew tired of our favorite go-to joints and decided to try something new. We are glad we did! The service at the pick-up window on the side of the restaurant was friendly, and the pizza was ready when we arrived on time. I will definitely keep this in rotation.

I wish their bootleg bread was a little bigger for the price, but again this flavor can't be beat! We had the stockyard pizza, house, salad, pepperoni bootleg bread, and we ordered an extra container of branch to take home with us. I will also note that both times I've gone to two cities, the young person at the counter was genuinely kind and courteous. It was just enough to mention that I noticed, because many times anymore that is missing from customer service in general. Looking forward to our next trip to the Cincinnati area and hoping to dine in for that experience.

I used to come here for their buffalo soldier pizza. Our service was slow to start but eventually was better towards the end. We tried their wings and potato skins for apps. The wings had sort of a funky taste to them not sure why. They were cooked well and had a nice crisp though. I used to come here all the time and it has been probably been 2 years since I've been. The Italian margarita was great still and they seemed to be busy. I would come back to try a different pizza.

We ordered a Sicilian pep (which actually serves probably closer to two people, not three) and a Mr. Brown. The Mr. Brown had great mushroom flavor, but I couldn't appreciate any truffle at all. The cheese was also crispy rather than my preferred -- gooey/stringy. I also sampled my friend's Sicilian pizza. The crust was lacking the pillowy chew (I expected a slightly firmer foccacia texture), and instead had a harder crunch. Overall a great experience from a service standpoint but I think I'll try satisfying my future pizza cravings elsewhere

Okay, I understand the hype! Bourbon House Pizza does Chicago deep dish pizza perfectly. My husband…read moreand I split one of the supreme pizzas and got Italian sausage and mushrooms in it. It was honestly so delicious, and oddly enough was even better reheated the next day! (Reheated great in a toaster oven) It also came out quicker than I expected. (With it being Chicago deep dish, I was prepared to wait!) We also got their appetizer sampler. The items were good, but the pizza balls definitely stood out! The dough was so fantastic and clearly homemade. It was perfectly buttery and flaky, yet firm structural. The sauce was also delicious. A must: pairing everythingggg with their house made ranch. My brother got a steak hoagie and was pretty disappointed when a small sandwich with a meat patty and a side of potato chips is what came out. It just didn't match the caliber of the pizza at all. We also got to Italian sub style hoagies, and those were both small and underwhelming as well. The dining room had a bit of a disheveled feel but I couldn't quite put my finger on what was off. The servers were attentive and kind. We parked at the Levee and walked over. Overall synopsis: I actually can't wait to get pizza here again!!!

We stopped in before a show at Southgate House. It was a Friday and we made reservations for 5:30…read more Reservations at this time were not needed; it was not crowded. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. They have outside seating, which could be nice in the right weather, though the area is just feet from the main drag. Our server was fine. I have no real recollection of them. We ordered a deep dish, looking to find a pizza as good as Zachary's in California. Bourbon House Pizza is not as good as Zachary's, but it is the best deep dish pizza we've tried in the Cincinnati area since we've been back in Cincinnati since 2021. We made our own pizza in an attempt to match our favorite - spinach and mushrooms. It was good. I enjoyed the sauce on top. Under the sauce, the cheese was very thick making the overall taste of the pizza very cheesy. We had a similarly cheese deep dish in Chicago. Our pizza at Bourbon House was better. I will say the crust is thick. I would have eaten the crust if there had only been two pieces per person. Since I was faced with potentially eating four pieces, I opted to skip the crust. One of our group asked if she could order from the kid's menu. The server had no issue with the request. Oddly enough, her meal was huge! We were all surprised it was a kid's meal. Our fourth ordered a small pizza. It looked like it had pineapple on it. I didn't ask how it was, but he ate every bite. It must have been a small and it was the perfect single serving size. Oh... we ordered a medium deep dish. It was eight pieces and was too much for two people. Because we were going to a show after dinner, we didn't box up the leftover two pieces. This size pizza would be great for four people to share. We will continue to look for great deep dish pizza, but we definitely found a good one at Bourbon House Pizza.
