Jamesons is the kind of place that just gets better and better every year. I highly recommend the dumplings and/or the potato skins as an appetizer followed by any of their burgers, especially the Jamo burger or Ava's (I'm a sucker for avocado). The cocktails here are better than anything an Irish Pub had a right to offer, lol, and they're the only place with novel frozen flavors that are interesting and actually taste good. My only criticism is that they are still cash only at the bar but that's an inconvenience I'm willing to deal with for the excellent service, great food, and welcoming atmosphere. read more

This place has so much potential!! I say this because the most important thing they have down packed. That is everyone is nice. Let's start, I walked in, sat at the bar. ASKED FOR A FOOD MENU, got my drink and was not checked on until my drink was completely done. That's when I ordered my second drink, and had to tell bartender I was ready to order food. (It was 5pm, not even busy yet) I get it if it's busy, I swear I do. That's was the only way I was getting my food. Because no check up was made. I got my food and the lady came to check on me. But not by the bartender. I had to call him over because I had ordered the Buffalo strips and got regular, and just asked for the Buffalo on the side. Again no check up was made after I had my food for a good 10 minutes. I had to call him over. I hate to make a big deal out of everything but Please take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt because I have a hospitality management MASTERS DEGREE. And the reason why they get a good review is because it's a PUB and I knew this before walking in. For a pub the are doing a good job.... I guess? Not sure. My review is for the owners/ managers if they want to improve. If someone asked for extra Sauce you have to charge them. Especially they size sauce cups they give you. Also asked for the check, and made it clear I was using my card, 10 minutes later no one came to check to see if I was ready. Pro tip if your coming here you'll just have to raise your hand anytime u need something. Otherwise nothing will get to you. I promise you. At least they guy that I had taking care of me. Can go on and on and on but last thing is please don't serve food in paper plates!! Pub or no pub, my salad came in glass plate so should everything else I ordered. After seeing them on Instagram, I wanted to like them more but still hold a pretty favorable opinion. If I could give a 3.5, that's probably right around where my review would be. Nice Irish pub. Came in on a weekday afternoon where it was kind of dead, but generally liked the atmosphere. Traditional pub fare menu; apps, burgers, sandwiches, salads. Nothing to write home about. I had a bacon cheeseburger - which was good. Maybe a bit overcooked, but still good. Split some wings with my sister, which were also pretty good. I believe they were Asian flavored. Good beer specials; had $3 Labatt drafts on tap when I went, which I'll drink all day for $3. The margaritas were a bit lacking. My sister didn't seem to like it, and gave it to me. Wasn't the best or the worst I've ever had. Service was good. Waiter deserves recognition for good service. While good, I think this place has potential to be better. Jameson's Pub is a great small place to go for a bite and some good drinks in the area. They have done a great job with their outdoor and indoor dining setup to abide by recent COVID restrictions. The staff takes all necessary precautions to keep customers safe (social distancing, wearing masks/gloves, hand sanitizer available at all tables) I went there on a weekend recently for their brunch special and was very happy with it. They offer a decent size brunch menu that seems to have something for everyone. We ordered the French toast, the avocado toast, and the breakfast burrito, all which were very good and decently priced. They also offer a bottomless mimosa / Bloody Mary option for $40 for 3 hours. Overall it's a great spot to stop especially in the current COVID environment for some quick bites and decent drinks if you are in the area. read more

When the food came it hadn't really fresh look, jumbo shrimps ( $14) weren't good, all crunch ... tacos were so cold ($7 each ) and tasted like raw. My coworker and I ordered two buffalo chicken wraps for lunch. I ordered mine without the bread. It came an hour later and mine was missing the lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese. I've attached a pic so you can see. They sent a new order but this is my lunch hour and I won't be able to eat it when it comes. Update: It took another 45 minutes to come and I didn't have time to eat it. My coworker did not like the chicken either, it was too spicy and tough. My friends' band played the other night at Jamesons. We happened to already be at the beach all day so this was an extra special treat to hear great live music from serious homeslices AND chill out with some beers and decent eats. When it comes to pub fare I have to have chicken fingers - and they were pretty good. I asked for 3 sauces (buffalo, honey mustard, and bbq) and out waitress didn't bat an eye, sweet gal. There were a few families and a sports team eating outdoors when we arrived, nice chill vibe. When the sun started to go down waiters lit a bunch of lanterns, tiki torches, and there were some white Christmas lights - cute atmosphere. The sound system sounded surprisingly awesome for only one speaker - they had a nice little set up and stage area. I didn't spend much time inside other than to use to the lou, but everyone seemed like they were having a good time. Kinda tacky decor, but outside cocktails in the summer - can't beat it. We played a rousing round of dice, mixed crowd, good times. If I had one suggestion it would be to get some music going outside - would have been a great atmosphere enhancement before the band began or even during meals/drinks. read more

Great local place to have some grub and drink a few beers while watching a ball game. Cozy place especially in the winter when the fireplace is on. The owners are great people and they have a very friendly and helpful staff. The loaded tater tots and dumplings are great for apps. Jamo burger, steak tid bits and the flat breads are awesome for entrees. Enjoy the frozen's during the summer months. 25 years in this business is nothing to sneeze at. I had a blast seeing the 90s cover band, Whole in One. This is a two sided bar with a sort of indoor/outdoor beer gardenesque bar on one and a large long bar on the other. When I was there is was packed. We had a blast and a few of my friends got rowdy and danced on ledges. Beers were appropriately priced and surprisingly the bartenders were fast and on top of everything. I liked the atmosphere as there was a fire place and homey decor. There were three bathrooms, one labeled unisex, which I thought was super progressive for the area. Staff was great, music was fantastic. Cops shut the music down but hey, it happens. Went for drinks and was pleasantly surprised. The interior decor is very modern and yet very "pub"ish.. I loved it. We split two appetizers and we both got a drink. My friends and I were looking for a last minute bar that was showing the champions league finals Liverpool vs Tottenham and came across Jameson's Pub. Honestly since the moment we walked in the place looked great! It has a vintage rustic look to it. The food is amazing. We got wings, tater tots, nachos and dumplings. It was amazing! The taste was fresh and so goood! Our waitress Kaitlyn was sooo nice, helpful and patient. She has a great attitude and was also easy going to talk to if we needed anything! I saw so many men who had clearly served, dressed in sweatshirts of various branches, etc. I saw nothing but unhappy faces as the service lagged and lagged. Tonight we decided to order from Jameson's Pub as the last time everything was great! This time I decided to get the Pastrami sandwich. What A Mistake!!! It was horrible. I had to spit most of it out as it was hard and grisly, and only had about 3, maybe 4 slices. I normally don't do this but when I called to speak to the manager, I was told he was in the back or in the bathroom to call back. I said no, please have him call me back and gave my number. Low and behold, No Call Back, Surprise! Surprise! In today's covid pandemic that has decimated a lot of good restaurants, those fortunate to remain open and operational should go out of there way to ensure their customers, or former now in my case, are taken care of or at least called back. Apparently, you have to be a local to get served here. We sat at a table across from the bar, waited patiently while the server helped people on both sides of us and never looked at us once. After 20 minutes of waiting, I ordered drinks at the bar, being helped begrudgingly by the bartender who was more interested in talking to his friends. My wife's mixed drink was terrible. We didn't do or say anything to make us stand out, we clearly just weren't part of the regular crowd. Don't spend your money here if you want good service and a friendly atmosphere. Wow, 2-for-1 burger deal on Wed. can't be beat! Nice decor, pleasant surroundings on a charming street near the beach. Burgers were mediocre (asked for medium-rare for both, got medium-well), and unexceptional.
