They are often times left where the tooth is sharp and cuts the tongue, they replaced a temporary crown sideways so it looked like a snaggle tooth and we had to go back to get it fixed. We had hoped the second time around they would do it better but again the filing is too short and causing food to get stuck and the tongue to scrape on it causing pain. The only feedback I would say is please pay more attention to the filling. Our mouths are sensitive and it makes a HUGE difference. They assume the regular dentist will get to it but that's not how it works between offices.

What meant the most to me was the level of compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern for my comfort. Dr. Fat prioritized quality care while making sure I was as comfortable and pain-free as possible. Going into this, I had a deep fear of root canals after watching my father suffer with years of dental pain -- but Dr. Fat completely changed that for me. He has a very kind and caring bedside manner and is an excellent endodontist. After my root canal, he told me to take some pain reliever, which I did, but I didn't really need it. I had no pain and like others who have reviewed him, he called me at 8:30 that night to check in on me and make sure I was doing OK. On one hand I hope I never need to see him again (lol), but if I ever have any other tooth pain, he will be the first one I call. I can't recommend him highly enough!

My 18 year old was in pain from one of his wisdom tooth, and the Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists were able to get him in first thing on Saturday morning at 7:00am. The front staff were amazing. The office was so immaculate, and the beverage bar they had was also really nice. The techs and assistants who took us back to take pictures, and go over billing details were great too. My son bravely opted to have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted the same day. Dr. Amir went over my son's xray thoroughly, and explained what the procedure was going to be like. He was kind, patient, and had a great personality. Dr. Amir definitely made the experience for my son more calming and comfortable. After the surgery, they provided my son with a "wrap around head/chin" ice pack for the swelling, which had 2 ice packs one on each side of his cheeks, making icing hands-free. So nice. The healing process went very well. Overall, Dr. Amir and the staff really know what they are doing, and they truly care. I highly recommend them!

Upon returning from my trip, I scheduled an emergency appointment with Luc Dental Care. An x-ray confirmed a large cavity in my wisdom tooth. I was immediately referred to Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists for a tooth extraction. I spoke with a friendly representative at Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists who was able to schedule a next day consultation and oral surgery. The following day I arrived to a group of friendly employees at the front desk that greeted me. Since I filled out the intake form prior to the appointment, I was only seated for two minutes before being ushered to the back. An employee took my blood pressure, administered an x-ray, and informed me that the surgeon would be with me shortly. Shortly after Dr. Fries entered the room and introduced himself. He gave me an overview of the procedure that would be conducted, asked if I had any questions, and then started a short video that informed me about post-extraction care. After the video concluded, I was ushered to another room where Dr. Fries and an employee began administering the local anesthesia. Roughly 10 minutes later, after confirming that the anesthesia had kicked in, Dr Fries began the procedure. Throughout the procedure Dr. Fries and the employee did a great job of communicating what was happening (the wisdom tooth was very stubborn in coming out) and verifying that I was not in pain (although there was slight discomfort). Three days later, strictly following the post-extraction rules, I have no pain (thankfully)...thank you Dr. Fries and the rest of the Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists team!
