The doctor is really nice but after 6 root canals it's clear that the temporary fillings are the one thing he can improve on. They are often times left where the tooth is sharp and cuts the tongue, they replaced a temporary crown sideways so it looked like a snaggle tooth and we had to go back to get it fixed. We had hoped the second time around they would do it better but again the filing is too short and causing food to get stuck and the tongue to scrape on it causing pain. The only feedback I would say is please pay more attention to the filling. Our mouths are sensitive and it makes a HUGE difference. They assume the regular dentist will get to it but that's not how it works between offices. read more

We ended up not even having to o a root canal which was great and I appreciated that he did not do something that was not necessary! He was very personable and did not make me feel rushed at all. Dr Nazeri is great! He's very particular at his skill. His communication is very effective, patient, and clear. He shows compassion. He wants to make sure you get a full understanding of everything needed. In my case I came to him with an issue of referred pain on some recently crowned teeth. When chewing food transient random discomfort. Once fully examining my teeth (including x rays)-he concluded 2 teeth suspected to have cracks. He explained the difference in cracked tooth pain and actual related root pain issues in teeth. Two different types of issues with very different symptoms. A root canal in my particular type of issue is not going to address this type of pain. And potentially could make my pain worse. He gave me my options to chose, explained the risks, and the outcomes and why he elects not to warrant these as needing root canals. Although my pain issue isn't resolved I am impressed with this doctors complete honesty. That is a rare quality these days. I would highly recommend seeing him. I have nothing but high remarks for Dr. Nazeri and his staff. Having a root canal is not a pleasant experience, but to honest, it really was a pleasant experience thanks to their team. I was extremely impressed how well Dr. Nazeri and his staff worked together. At times Dr. Nazeri would just "head nod" to one of the specialists and she knew exactly what he needed - iindicates to me they've been working together for awhile...A very nice touch, was when I was getting shot up with the numbing agent; the specialist gently massaged my right arm while the needle was in my gum. It's the little things that do it for me. Also, the front desk person was very nice too. I really, really hope I never have to have another root canal, but if I do, hands down, going to Dr. Nazeri again. read more

We came to the clinic to do the root canal retreatment. We then received a bill because our insurance denied paying the bill. Insurance denied it because it doesn't cover retreatment to the same tooth done in less than two years. Unfortunately, Advanced Micro-Endodontics Inc never called our insurance before the procedure to see if the procedure is covered by our insurance, and they didn't notify us that we might end up paying in full because it is retreatment done in less than two years. We ended up paying out of pocket for the procedure. read more

We all dread these words: "You're going to need a root canal." I no longer fear those words. Dr. Nazeri was professional, polite, and did an excellent job. Same goes for the front desk staff. I'm about a week out from my root canal, and I don't feel any pain whatsoever. His office was able to book me on one-days notice and handled everything from insurance to getting a prescription set in case any pain did happen (which, none!) I am a veteran of dental procedures and have had many root canals performed. This was by far the best experience I have ever had. At first I was quite opposed to the idea of IV Sedation, however the doctor assured me it was necessary for my case, which was a re-treatment of two previously botched root canals now infected. I am so glad I went through with it because it was 100% painless. The staff was genuinely very nice (not the fake over-the-top customer service type of friendly) and very professional, making me feel totally at ease both during the consultation and on the day of my procedure. The next day I received a call checking up on how I was feeling and whether I had any questions. I was so pleased to find out that Dr. Nazeri was able to give me a permanent filling and no crowns are needed! Yay! The relief is overwhelming and I am so thankful to have found Dr. Nazeri's practice. Nobody wants to find out they need a root canal, but if you end up in such an undesirable situation, Dr. Nazeri and his staff are a pleasure to deal with. I've been having some tooth pain since I had a crown replaced a few months ago, and I was referred to Dr. Nazeri by my general dentist (whom I love). They were able to see me for a consultation the very next day. Rather than go right in for a root canal, Dr. Nazeri adjusted the crown and had me give it some time to heal (for the swelling to go down). He said it may heal on its own and I wouldn't need a root canal. My insurance covered my consultation 100%, so I paid nothing out of pocket. Unfortunately, my tooth continued to be sensitive, and I called Dr. Nazeri's office, in pain, a few weeks later. They scheduled me (again) for the following day for my root canal. The receptionist was so nice, taking into consideration my work schedule and fitting me in on a Friday afternoon so that I'd have the weekend to recover. They already had my insurance information, and she was able to tell me what my out of pocket cost would be. I've never had a root canal and I'm not going to lie, I was a Nervous Nelly. But his staff were very reassuring and even Dr. Nazeri noticed my nervousness and explained that I had nothing to worry about. They were wonderful when they numbed me. As he injected me, the dental assistant massaged my arm in a reassuring manner. They kept checking to make sure I was okay before they started the procedure. The dental assistant stayed with me and we had a short conversation while we waited for my mouth to numb completely. During the procedure, they play the Pandora station of your choice. Dr. Nazeri explains what he's doing every step of the way and talks you through any nervousness. And he and his staff work together seamlessly. After my root canal, they explained my after treatment and even gave me Dr. Nazeri's cell phone number in case I have any problems over the weekend. I was referred to Dr. Nazeri from my regular dentist because my root canal on my abscessed bicuspid was going to be too difficult to do without the microscope. I've had root canals before, and for the most part they're mostly painless if you can handle the vibration in your head when they're grinding the inside of your tooth away. I was in and out in literally 30 minutes. They did a temporary filling as I am going back to my regular dentist in a week. They were very fair with me on the price as it was an emergency procedure and I don't have health insurance through my employer yet. I felt ZERO pain and the dental assistants were very nice, they played music, and were very attentive to my needs. Also you can ask for the shot that doesn't contain the epinephrine such as I had to do because of my sensitivity to stimulants. Highly recommend if you need very specific and complicated dental work. I will probably be back to get my compacted wisdom teeth out :( read more

Dr. Nazeri was referred to me by my dentist since I had an infection growing under my a root canal that was done years ago, He was very honest with the results and my options. I was really nervous about the procedure mostly because I hate the needles and who can stand the drill noise. My procedure was pain free! Yes, it was and the drills didn't seem to bother me much. Before I knew it I was done, the time just flew by. I really enjoyed the music (which they ask you if you would like a particular type of music) The music actually made me relax more and take my mind off the drills. The dental assistants were very sweet and made sure I was taken care of and I left with all the information to take care of my tooth until I returned to my regular dentist. I highly recommend especially if you are getting a complicated procedure or if you would like the peace of mind of knowing you will be taken care of. I live in Roseville, but I had to come to Dr. Nazeri because he was the only one who accepted my insurance. I am SO thankful and feel that the drive was completely worth it. Not only is Dr. Nazeri very kind and professional, but his entire staff was phenomenal. During the consultation I had to bring my one month old baby and his staff was very kind even when my son started to fuss and held him for me while I got my x-rays done. I wouldn't normally bring a child to such an appointment, but with his age and breastfeeding, I didn't really have a choice and they were very understanding. This was my first root canal and I was pretty nervous. I would have liked Dr. Nazeri to explain each step as he did the procedure because I like all of that stuff and I'm sure he would have had I asked, but I forgot and it was too difficult to ask once he had his hands in my mouth. He did however, explain a few things at the beginning and towards the end, which was very nice. Before the procedure began I had a few questions that Dr. Nazeri's assistants were able to answer for me in detail. They all seemed to respect and enjoy working together, which was a very nice environment to be in. The staff and Dr very very kind and knowledgeable. I had a panic attack when first getting my shot just thinking of the hell I endured at another dentists office for my bicuspid root canal. I was dreading it because I kept thinking it's going to hurt and be a very long procedure, boy was I wrong! From the time I got there to when I was leaving it was 50 minutes, in and out. I went in for a re-treatment of a bicuspid that has an abscess. I didn't feel the shot although he did say I might feel a little pinch. During the procedure he kept asking if I was ok and did a fast and very thorough job. They also played classical music that was very soothing. I had a 9 year old bridge that developed a crack a few years ago. I ignored it, didn't get it fixed when my dentist wanted me to, and over time started developing really bad toothaches under one of the teeth. My general dentist suggested I get a root canal to ease the pain and prepare the teeth for my new bridge. I got a referral to Dr. Nazeri for a consult and he took X-Rays, did some other tests to see if a root canal was needed, and talked me through what he feels is happening and what options I had. He was very thorough in describing the source of the pain and what a root canal exactly is and what he will do to the teeth if I got one. He offered me two choices for treatment. He can do the root canal through the bridge to immediately ease my pain, or since I'm getting the bridge removed and replaced at my general dentist he suggested I wait and see what the tooth looks like underneath the 9 year old bridge. It's possible (20% chance) that the tooth decay underneath the bridge when cleaned will relieve my pain and I could avoid getting a root canal all together. I felt that Dr. Nazeri was not looking after his bottom line but was looking after what's best for my dental health. He said that if we can avoid doing a root canal, then we absolutely will. I went ahead and got my bridge removed by my general dentist and it was pretty clear that the tooth beneath my bridge was in bad shape. She contacted Dr. Nazeri letting him know that the tooth would definitely need a root canal and much to my surprise, he took me in immediately within only a few hours to get it taken care of. The actual root canal process was more comfortable than I could have expected. I was numbed up really good (the shots didn't hurt at all with the q-tib applied ointment they use) and he talked me through every step that he was taking, what to expect at any given moment, if there is any chance of slight discomfort (which I never had), etc. It took almost an hour to finish the root canal as there is a lot of work that takes place on the tooth, but I was very happy by the time it ended. Dr. Nazeri said to expect mild pain for a few days while my teeth heal and that's exactly what happened. My teeth were pain free again. He even texted me personally (which I appreciated vs calling) and asked me how my teeth felt. I liked that personal attention and the ability for me to get in touch quickly with him if necessary. I highly recommend Dr. Nazeri if you need, or suspect, that you need a root canal. If I ever need one again (which I really hope I don't), I will absolutely come back to Dr. Nazeri. read more

This was was my first time getting a root canal ever so I don't have any prior experience to compare. Their staff were all extremely sweet and the two dental assistance were very nice during the whole procedure. Dr. Nazeri made me feel incredibly well taken care of and as scary as getting a root canal sounds, I would not want to trust any one else in my mouth. I had an abscess above a molar with cavities in my tooth under a crown, he fixed 5 roots on one tooth, and said everything went well. I came here for a consultation, but sadly my tooth was not salvageable. It seems like my general dentist over drilled my tooth and now my tooth is split. Unfortunately, there's nothing Dr. Nazeri can do. The only solution is to extract the tooth and get an implant. Dr. Nazeri was really nice. He gave me great advice on how to approach my dentist about what happened and some valuable advice. Go to an endodontist for a root canal and never settle for a bridge! Always get an implant. However, it cost me $161 for the consultation since my insurance did not cover the consultation. Quite pricey when all was done was a quick x-ray :/. These dental visits are NOT cheap.
