We had just arrived in Brookings & started setting up the trailer when I found out our gray & black water pipes had broken & we would not be able to connect to the campground's sewage line. What perplexed us even more was the fact that we would not be able to use our trailer's bathroom, as the black water pipe had broken BEFORE the valve & any use/flushing would lead to raw sewage on the ground. In a panic, we consulted Google & found RV Mobile Repair & Service. Jim Anderson arrived shortly & took a look at the problem. A quick trip to the store & he returned with the part we needed, then set to work. Within a couple hours, our sewage lament was solved & our weekend away was saved! Jim was pleasant, knowledgeable, quick working, & extremely professional. He explained the repair, how he was going to take care of the problem, & then dove in! Well equipped to handle virtually any emergency, I'll bet he gives his brother a hard time for letting his glue dry out! LOL! We have other friends, our next door neighbors, who also enjoy taking their trailer on adventures up the Oregon Coast. Jim gave us a couple business cards & I'll be giving one of them to our neighbors, just in case they have a problem when they're in the Brookings area! Thanks a lot Jim, for your prompt & quick work that saved our weekend getaway! Jim, Carole, & Silas read more

I had a few problems with my travel trailer. I called up Brookings RV Repair and talked to Jim Anderson, he came out the next day. He did a bit of trouble shooting and was able to fix my heater problem, he had the parts on hand which was really nice. The other problem I had was that my pilot light would not stay lite for my hot water heater plus it was leaking. Jim was able to determine that my water heater was needing to be completely replaced. He showed me what the problem was and explained everything along with answering all my questions. I ordered a new hot water tank kit and as soon as it was delivered Jim came out the very next day and installed it. He was on time both days and was proficient at his job. He had a great attitude and was friendly, I would recommend his services to anyone needing this type work done. Thank you Jim, I"m going to feel a whole lot better about this winter knowing the repairs are done right. read more

BEYOND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Second review for RV Mobile Repair and Service (Joe / Jodie). The day they had repaired my rig, later that evening I was in Brookings, OR (approx 20 minutes from my home), pulled into Fred Meyers only to find out that I could not restart my rig. This was an issue completely separate of what they had worked on. This was later in the evening, after business hours when I called to see if by chance, they could help me. I called, they actually answered the phone, came right out to help me, they had it diagnosed before they even opened the hood. Joe told me it was probably a loose battery terminal. That is exactly what it was...hallelujah! AND they did not even charge me. How's that for service!! If you are looking for a company that you can trust, are communicative, care and are reasonably priced - then you must give them call. They are wonderful people. :) Deb Raiter read more

We were camping in Crescent City, CA in August 2020 when the water heater on our Open Range 5th Wheel stopped heating. None of the local RV services would come out on the weekend so we expanded our search to Brookings, OR. We called RV Mobile Repair and Service. Jim Anderson, the owner, answered and said he would not only be happy to come out, but he would also be there in less than an hour! He was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly. While he had the heater access compartment open he discovered a small water leak and repaired it as well, thankfully. That could have led to major issues if the leak had persisted over time. We were impressed with Jim's professional, personable, and calm personality. He was absolutely great to work with and we would recommend him to anyone seeking fast and professional RV service. read more

Oh, the panic we felt as we pulled into our site at the At Rivers Edge RV Park and had no electricity to run our Mom's oxygen tank. Host, Mike, gave us a card for RV Mobile Repair and Service. It just so happened that Joe and Jodie lived in the park as hosts too. Within a half hour Joe and Jodie came to our rescue. It was an easy fix, but wasn't an easy search for the reason we were having trouble. Joe was super thorough and along the way made sure to talk us through everything he was doing. We learned a ton of information from him. We would totally recommend their service. They are extremely knowledgeable and super people too. It is a pleasure to give them a 5***** star rating. I am a new RVer and I could not figure out how the electric hot water heater was supposed to work. I called a tech at the dealership who walked me through the appropriate steps but it still didn't work. I called Jim at RVmobile repair and he was able to come out and fix the problem. Hd was very thorough and tested everything that could possibly be connected to the water heater. It turned out to be a tiny valve that somehow got turned so that no water could go into the water heater. After that I had hot water! Jim is nice and knows his business. He even came out in the middle of a rain storm! Definitely a five star kind of guy and a five star experience. read more

We purchased a Bighorn May of 24. It has been one huge headache after another with things going wrong with it. Just before leaving for the Oregon coast we discovered our furnace wasn't working properly. When we arrived, my husband called Jim and they worked out a day/time to come look at it. It was found the motherboard had quit and thermostat needed replacing. Jim took the furnace back to his shop and had it fixed within 24 hours. When he returned, he not only hooked the furnace up, but replaced the seal on the toilet and repaired the fan in the bathroom. Thanks so much for excellent service. It is so appreciated!!! read more

After driving 320 miles, we arrived at Harris Beach State Park only to find our LP quick connect for our outside barbeque had dropped from underneath our 4 month old fifth wheel and had been dragging on the road for who knows how many miles. Joe and Jodi came to us the next morning and performed a temporary fix. Their work was professional, they were very personable, and the price they charged was reasonable. Thanks to them, we were able to continue our 30-day trip. We would not hesitate to use their services again. read more

I turned to Yelp for recommendations regarding RV repair away from home. They answered promptly in spite of being beyond normal business hours. An appointment was set up when we met up face the face. My immediate impression was of competence and friendly, prompt service. I was not disappointed. Parts needed to be ordered and the work completed on a Saturday. No convenience delays with these people (Joe and Jody). If needed I will use them again without reservation and highly recommend them to anyone who might ask. read more

My heater quit working in my motorhome and Jim came out right away to take a look and was able to get the part in just a few days. He came right out to fix it and it is good as new. He got here when he said he would, was personable and professional and showed us exactly what had happened. His rates were very reasonable and he came to us instead of us having to take the motorhome to him. Grade A service. I highly recommend him!! read more

Thanks to Jim at RV Repair and Service in Brookings I am on the road again. The high winds damaged my awning over my slide out and when I brought in the slider it bound it all up so the slider would not open again. Jim met me at a time and place convenient for me. Retired it enough that it will now open and close. He was very reasonably priced and knowledgeable. I'm a happy camper again!! read more

Called Jim after a rain storm that got my AC to leak. Jim understood that water is a real enemy of RV's so he came out the next day. He brought everything needed for the repair And got right to work. Did an excellent job and the AC has not leaked since. If you are on the southern coast of Oregon, I would highly recommend using him. THANKS JIM! Ron J. read more

Jim's been installing on-demand hot water heaters in the neighborhood, and after hearing so many positive reports of the product, I did the same last weekend. All my interactions with Jim Anderson met high professional standards. He did what he said he would, when he saidwould, for the price he quoted. Highly recommended. read more
