We had just arrived in Brookings & started setting up the trailer when I found out our gray & black water pipes had broken & we would not be able to connect to the campground's sewage line. What perplexed us even more was the fact that we would not be able to use our trailer's bathroom, as the black water pipe had broken BEFORE the valve & any use/flushing would lead to raw sewage on the ground. In a panic, we consulted Google & found RV Mobile Repair & Service. Jim Anderson arrived shortly & took a look at the problem. A quick trip to the store & he returned with the part we needed, then set to work. Within a couple hours, our sewage lament was solved & our weekend away was saved! Jim was pleasant, knowledgeable, quick working, & extremely professional. He explained the repair, how he was going to take care of the problem, & then dove in! Well equipped to handle virtually any emergency, I'll bet he gives his brother a hard time for letting his glue dry out! LOL! We have other friends, our next door neighbors, who also enjoy taking their trailer on adventures up the Oregon Coast. I had a few problems with my travel trailer. I called up Brookings RV Repair and talked to Jim Anderson, he came out the next day. He did a bit of trouble shooting and was able to fix my heater problem, he had the parts on hand which was really nice. The other problem I had was that my pilot light would not stay lite for my hot water heater plus it was leaking. Jim was able to determine that my water heater was needing to be completely replaced. He showed me what the problem was and explained everything along with answering all my questions. I ordered a new hot water tank kit and as soon as it was delivered Jim came out the very next day and installed it. He was on time both days and was proficient at his job. He had a great attitude and was friendly, I would recommend his services to anyone needing this type work done. The day they had repaired my rig, later that evening I was in Brookings, OR (approx 20 minutes from my home), pulled into Fred Meyers only to find out that I could not restart my rig. This was an issue completely separate of what they had worked on. This was later in the evening, after business hours when I called to see if by chance, they could help me. I called, they actually answered the phone, came right out to help me, they had it diagnosed before they even opened the hood. Joe told me it was probably a loose battery terminal. That is exactly what it was...hallelujah! AND they did not even charge me. How's that for service!! We were camping in Crescent City, CA in August 2020 when the water heater on our Open Range 5th Wheel stopped heating. None of the local RV services would come out on the weekend so we expanded our search to Brookings, OR. We called RV Mobile Repair and Service. Jim Anderson, the owner, answered and said he would not only be happy to come out, but he would also be there in less than an hour! He was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly. While he had the heater access compartment open he discovered a small water leak and repaired it as well, thankfully. That could have led to major issues if the leak had persisted over time. I am a new RVer and I could not figure out how the electric hot water heater was supposed to work. I called a tech at the dealership who walked me through the appropriate steps but it still didn't work. I called Jim at RVmobile repair and he was able to come out and fix the problem. Hd was very thorough and tested everything that could possibly be connected to the water heater. It turned out to be a tiny valve that somehow got turned so that no water could go into the water heater. After that I had hot water! Jim is nice and knows his business. We purchased a Bighorn May of 24. It has been one huge headache after another with things going wrong with it. Just before leaving for the Oregon coast we discovered our furnace wasn't working properly. When we arrived, my husband called Jim and they worked out a day/time to come look at it. It was found the motherboard had quit and thermostat needed replacing. Jim took the furnace back to his shop and had it fixed within 24 hours.
