Unfortunately, because the growth protruded out, I would occasionally bite it while eating, which caused it to get larger. My dentist recommended having it removed before it became worse, and I'm so glad I was referred to Huntington Oral Surgery & Implant Center. Dr. Neimann was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and informative. He took the time to clearly explain the removal procedure, what to expect, and the healing process, while being completely transparent throughout. The entire staff was professional, understanding, and knowledgeable. The removal itself was quick and painless since they properly numbed the area, and my recovery was surprisingly fast. Aftercare was also very thoughtful--they sent me home with a bag of gauze (which I didn't end up needing), an ice pack (a fantastic idea since I didn't have to go get one), and chapstick. They also provided Dr. Niemann's personal mobile number in case any issues or questions arose after hours, which gave me a lot of peace of mind during recovery. I had all four impacted wisdom teeth removed, and the entire experience was far better than I expected. What impressed me most was that Dr. Niemann personally called me the evening after my procedure to check on my recovery and made himself available if I needed anything. That level of care is rare.
