I'm left crying over and over and this last time I couldn't even speak I felt so bad about myself from how horrible he was treating me. He had never cared about me and my health. Dr Rumery was the kindest doctor and truly cares and listened and wanted to help and always supported and wanted and found ways to help. From the first visit I was mistreated and I have anxiety days before each visit eith Dr Khan I have never been so mistreated. He is cold, doesn't listen forgets what he says he's going to do then lies. Years have gone by and my health has worsened because he brushed off my care. Dr Rumery warned me about him the surgery center did the ultrasound techs and I still was pressured. No one shoudk be mistreated, the way he treats patients. I have heard okther patients leave crying and yelling. Even a northbay patient. Northbay used to stand for compassionate care.. Dr Khan is not compassionate nor good care.. he is cruel, doesn't listen and truly affends people. Esp the truly disabled chronically ill. I've never been treated so badly. I've complained before nothing changed. He does it to me cause he can. I have nightmares. I can't see him again after what he just did to me recently I can't. He hung up on me after how bad he t treated me. Then he just hung up on me after belittling me. I feel less of a human and I feel uncomfortable and not safe with him with my care.. Northbay should care about their patients their have been so many complaints:( zero starts

Today on the day of my first appointment she took my ID and insurance card and copied it, then she asked if she can take my picture, I told her you have my ID my Insurance information, my DOB, my address and my phone number, Why do you need my picture, I think she said it's required, then I was directed to the exam room, it was hot and stuffy, with no ventilation, then the woman with the tattoos came in and started questioning me, she if I have high BP and I said not that I know off, she said you are taking high BP medications, then she asked if I had a heart attack, to which I replied yes, and she said why did you have a heart attack? I told her that was 25 years ago and I don't know why I had a heart attack, I told her that I have already filled out a 13 page questionnaire and most of the questions are not relevant and very intrusive, like your race and sexual activities, and drug and alcohol use, at this point she got up and left the room. About 10 minutes later the Doctor came and asked me why I was there today, I told him I was there because of my chronic hip pain and lower back pain and he said he can help me with my back pain but he is not going to, because I wasn't nice to the woman.

I should have known to walk away after the first visit. Dr. Tarasenko is avoidant and appears uncomfortable with a transparent conversation about the procedures he will perform on patients. He is very vague when answering questions, and during my visit, he actually rolled his eyes when I informed him of the side effects I experienced from the injections during my first visit--side effects he would have known about if his office had followed protocol and had me wait 30 minutes before allowing me to leave and drive--I am traumatized. The girls at the front desk are highly unprofessional. There is still holiday (Christmas) decor in the office (it is April), and the office has an overall uncomfortable feeling. I asked my primary care physician to please refer me to a different doctor because anytime a doctor appears uncomfortable and avoidant with answering basic questions about a medical procedure that will affect your body, that is a serious red flag. This establishment should be examined.

I have debilitating chronic pain from fibromyalgia, and need a pain management doctor to help me…read moreget through life. My first appointment with Dr. Sikka was great. Not only did she spend a lot of time with me, she seemed attentive. I appreciated that she gave me some acupuncture and eastern medicine insights as well, which I wasn't expecting. Sure, the office was incredibly crowded and dirty, but I was hopeful that she would help me get the care I need. After that first visit, everything went downhill. She always seemed rushed and preoccupied, like she was thinking about other things, and even left the door of the exam room open on multiple appointments, so that everyone in the waiting room could hear what we were talking about. She asked me several rude and inappropriate questions. She asked me in a very accusatory manner if I lived with children, insinuating that I was irresponsible enough to leave my medication out for children to take and die. When I tried to explain things to her, she would give a response that indicated she totally disregarded what I had said. She often snapped at me. Dr. Sikka wanted me to get an EMG. So I tried calling her office over the course of a month and no one would call me back to schedule the EMG. Multiple phone operators told me that their office was not the one to schedule the EMG, even though Dr. Sikka told me they do it. Dr. Sikka's assistant, Jasmine, told me to call her to schedule the EMG. So I left three messages, and still heard nothing. Luckily I had booked an EMG appointment at UCSF, a month and a half later from when I started seeing Dr. Sikka. That means that her office refused to return my calls for one and a half months. In an appointment, I asked Jasmine why she hadn't returned my calls. She said that her answering machine was broken. So even though she knew she had to schedule my EMG, and that her answering machine was broken, she still did not help me. Everyone in this office gives different (incorrect) information and instructions, so it takes an absurdly long time to get any procedures done. Eventually, Dr. Sikka wanted to increase my dosage of nerve pain medication. She told me to take my current prescription three times a day instead of twice, and she would write me a new prescription when I was close to running out. So the day comes when I am running out, she writes a new prescription, and my insurance company denies it (because, duh, that's what insurance companies do). I called Dr. Sikka's office to tell someone to follow up with the insurance company, and to let me know what happens. I then called the following day because I didn't hear back from anyone. The phone operator at the office informs me that there was no record of my call the previous day, and so no one had worked on it. So I emailed Jasmine, to try to get her to start working on it. I get snappy responses back from her, as well. At the end of that day, I get a call from a very angry Dr. Sikka, who proceeds to yell at me. "I have just spent two hours on hold with your pharmacy, and I WILL NOT DO IT ANYMORE. It's not my problem." I tried not to lose it. I asked her why she hadn't called my insurance company, who is the one not approving the new prescription. The pharmacy had nothing to do with it, they were just following the instructions of the insurance company. Again, she yelled at me and said she would not spend any more time on it. Let me repeat that. She said she would not work on getting me a prescription that she said she would give me. All in all, I told the phone operator, Jasmine, and Dr. Sikka herself to call my insurance company and NOT the pharmacy, and no one listened. It's like this office has no idea how insurance companies or medical bureaucracy work. Now, I am totally out of a medication, that if stopped suddenly, can cause seizures. And the reason I am out of it is because Dr. Sikka told me to blow through my other prescription and she assured me that she would get me more. Just one of the many responsibilities of a doctor is to ADVOCATE on the behalf of patients to their insurances companies to ensure they get the care they need. Has Dr. Sikka never called an insurance company on behalf of a patient? I am totally baffled. To add insult to injury, she screamed at me over the phone for something that was totally not my fault. IN WHAT UNIVERSE IS IT OKAY TO YELL AT A PATIENT??? TL;DR I under no circumstances would recommend anyone to see her. She is totally unprofessional, disrespectful, and will not advocate for you to get the care you need. If you want compassionate, respectful, and affirming care, DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. ***Update: in a final effort, I sent a heartfelt and pleading email to Dr. Sikka and still have not heard back. She is effectively ignoring me and not attempting to help me get my medication. The only thing that makes sense to me is that there is something seriously wrong with this office and doctor.

I just had major surgery to have stage 4 endometriosis removed from multiple organs. I even had my appendix removed during the extensive abdominal surgery. She seemed uninterested in my post-operative report. My insurance company dropped me two days before the surgery and she yelled at me to stop crying and told me to get insurance. I did, & then her office was very rude to me over the phone & they didn't even call to confirm my appointment beforehand. I have over 20 years of medical trauma from being misdiagnosed with depression and anxiety when in reality I have had one of the most painful conditions. Dr. Weisbein's demeanor completely changed when her next patient (an older male) walked in and she quickly changed her tone and said, "hello my love!" to him. Bottom line- ladies!!! Don't go to this woman. She's mean. *I almost forgot to mention, when I told her I was in a car accident, she said it was against her policy to talk about more than one injury at a time. *Go to Dr. Eric Grigsby or Dr Melanie Johansson if you need real help and you are a woman. They are experienced and non-biased unlike Jaqueline. *Thank you for your apology for your aggression & I hope you do better for future patients. I am finding better/more experienced/better equipped doctors for my needs.
