He is very easy to communicate with and has outstanding bedside manners. The office staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful. Mrs. Chang is in charge of billing and will sometimes personally accompany you back to the examining room. She has in the past administered the EKG, blood pressure check, and weigh in :). Dr. Chang will start my annual physical right after the initial checks are complete. I have never experienced any delays to my appointments over the years. What a great family business. Yes, it was difficult to get my first appointment- felt like a lot of jumping through hoops with verifying insurance coverage and getting set up in their system. Yes, the front desk can sometimes come across as curt. And yes, everyone has their bad days dealing with others. Yes, it can be hard to make appointments if the office is closed or they are out to lunch (12:30-1:30). However, I have found that the other front office people are very kind and compassionate. The office is very pretty and clean. Everything is run very efficiently and I never wait more than 5 minutes for my appointments. Now, for the real reason you go to the doctor anyway- the back office staff and physicians! They are WONDERFUL! Very prompt. Very professional. Very compassionate and friendly. Very knowledgable. I have seen Dr E. Rexinger and Kelly Fee the PA. LOVE Kelly!! Dr E Rexinger is a very fine physician and I love his assistant, I just connect better with Kelly. The worst urgent care system! I stepped on something and hurt my foot. First I went to…read moreprovidence urgent care in Rancho mission viejo. I was told it doesn't look like there is anything in your foot and the x ray machine was not working. If I wanted X-ray I would have to go somewhere else The next day I was in pain and I wnet back to Rancho. No X-ray machine. I then went to the San clemente providence urgent care. The NP removed two things from my foot and said she thought she got it all but I can get an X-ray if I want. Thank goodness i got the x ray. There was an object in my foot. I made an appointment for a procedure with a pediatric group. I called San Clemente and asked for my X-ray. i was told I could pick it up anytime before 7;30. I got there at 4:00 and was told the X-ray technician was not there and togo TO RMV to get the x ray which made no sense. I went to RMV urgent care and was told i could only get it from the San Clemente urgent care.i called l in the morning and ask them to email. I called at 8:00 and was told they don't email. I had to pick it up. I had a 9:00 procedure so That was not going to work. I asked to speak to manager or x ray tech and was told no they will tell you the same. I said I still wanted to speak to a manager or X-ray tech and was told he didn't like my tone of voice and that I could not talk to anyone because no one was available. To add insult to injury when I read my after care instructions, I was told not to walk on my broken toe . I DONT HAVE A BROKEN TOE!

My primary care doctor, Dr. Serna, is amazing and always takes great care of me. I had an appointment with her today, but the office called to let me know she wasn't in and asked if I wanted to reschedule or see another doctor. Since I've been in significant ear pain, I chose to see Dr. Ashizawa just to get a referral to an ENT. My appointment was at 3:00, but he didn't come in until 3:50. After briefly looking in my ear and doing a quick ear drum test, he said nothing was wrong and that there was nothing more he could do. I asked if he could please send a referral to an ENT since I'm in a lot of pain and pressure, but he shrugged and said there was no point because they wouldn't do anything different. That's simply not true, he barely investigated the issue. I left after two hours with no diagnosis or help and am now debating whether to go to the ER or pay out of pocket to see a specialist. I'd highly recommend avoiding Dr. Ashizawa, he seemed completely dismissive and uninterested in helping his patients.

Just moved here a year ago and it's been hard finding a good doctor…read more Had my appointment today and very impressed how much she listens and takes her time with you. They just moved into the offices from another office, so the only downside is it was inviting at first how bare it was with no decorations and boxes everywhere. She took her time with me. My veins had collapsed years ago for another medical condition so I was worried they were gonna poke and prod my arm. She gently took her time finding my small vein and got it the first time without picking my arm out like other doctors in the past. On top of that she did it herself, not a nurse. Glad I found a good doctor in SOC to get my physicals done!
