When I asked why she was prescribing certain medication and not another she actually said "I'm the doctor here." That is never an acceptable rational for prescribing a medication. It's the patient's right to understand treatment, and it's the doctor's duty to explain. She was dismissive of the severity my symptoms and my concerns. Even worse than her attitude was the fact that I was misdiagnosed. She diagnosed an upper respiratory issue when it was actually a dermatologic issue. I later went to a doctor in person and my issue absolutely required an anti-biotic that she refused to prescribe and didn't provide any sort of rational beyond "I'm the doctor here" and "you don't need it."

Mrs. Chang is in charge of billing and will sometimes personally accompany you back to the examining room. She has in the past administered the EKG, blood pressure check, and weigh in :). Dr. Chang will start my annual physical right after the initial checks are complete. I have never experienced any delays to my appointments over the years. What a great family business. Everything goes through the Memorial Care "My Chart" app or "patient navigators" over the phone. The app is good for nothing but making appointments and looking at test results, the navigators (when you can get one on the phone) are even more useless. You cannot contact anyone in the office, not a receptionist and certainly not a doctor. There is no number you can call other than the navigators, it makes communication next to impossible. If you are looking for a doctor I would suggest a private practice, not this group conglomerate model.
