This is regarding to my mom's "suppose to be" appt. I messaged last week to tell them my mom…read morecouldn't make it for Tuesday. So they messaged me saying there's available time today 3/12 at 12noon. And they even messaged me to confirm it. I even said we have to be seen right away cause I have another appt. Then went to the office which is by the way 30mins away from our house just to find out WE DO NOT HAVE APPT!!! Technically this is only a follow up where Karimabadi just needs to read her labs. She couldn't even squeeze her in thinking this is their fault. DEFINITELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! They put us on video call for the next day. We wasted our time, our effort driving to this place. Horrible experience!!!!

I have no problem with the doctor or the office, but the model is horrible if you are someone who…read morewants to communicate with your doctor directly. Everything goes through the Memorial Care "My Chart" app or "patient navigators" over the phone. The app is good for nothing but making appointments and looking at test results, the navigators (when you can get one on the phone) are even more useless. You cannot contact anyone in the office, not a receptionist and certainly not a doctor. There is no number you can call other than the navigators, it makes communication next to impossible. If you are looking for a doctor I would suggest a private practice, not this group conglomerate model.

Dr. O'connor is great. Her staff was able to squeeze me in when I found a lump in my neck…read morepostpartum. Her staff is kind, responsive, and made me truly feel like they cared. They were able to electronically send over prescriptions and called me back right away with any questions or appointment adjustments. Dr. O'Connor is a very educated doctor. She knows endocrinology well and was able to answer every single question I had. (I had a lot as my thyroid dysfunction was something new to me.) She took her time during my examinations and explained everything going on step by step during the ultrasounds. I have seen her multiple times over the past year and couldn't be more happy with any other doctor and their staff.

I had an appointment set for 1:30. I arrived a little early and filled out the typical sheets of…read morepaper, most of which are superfluous. As I arrived, a gentleman stepped out of the back of the office claiming he'd been there over an hour and hadn't been seen. I didn't pay much attention until I'd sat in the waiting room over 45 minutes, finally asking status and saying they're 45 minutes past my appointment time. The desk lady (think Monique?) was extremely curt and said she had no clue. I pressed asking her to check with a nurse in the back to give me some idea, but was told she wouldn't do that and it could be a while still. After pressing a few more times she finally admitted the doctor was in with a patient and still had another new patient to see before me...so it could still be an hour. An hour...after being already 45 minutes late? I asked if she had my phone number, she said yes, so I said I'd go run an errand or two and text me when they're getting close. She claimed she could not text, to which I replied you're welcome to call me or send an email. Desk lady was having none of it and told me she's "not going to do that". I tried reasoning with her saying it's extremely unprofessional to be that far behind and to not give other appointment patients a heads up, using analogies of dinner and flight reservations. She couldn't be bothered. I told her to refund my money and I'd go elsewhere. I'm sorry...but as a retiree who built a professional career on setting proper expectations, communicating effectively, negotiating efficiently, etc, this was unacceptable! As that was the "level of service" they were willing to offer, I highly recommend people take their medical business to an office that does care about the client experience.
