If anyone would like to join in a malpractice suit, please contact me. Circumstantial evidence has been found, but we need more proof.

After, I remember waking up in recovery and thinking "wow, I can breath again." The first time I met Dr Nolen, he came into the room and told me" I was reviewing your case last night and this what I think we need to do". At this point I had seen a lot of people, no one had offered a plan and few had reviewed my case prior to seeing me. I knew when he told me that, I had found someone who can help me get the care I needed. I cannot write enough good things about him and his staff or thank him enough.

He doesn't rush you, he always have time for you and your concerns. During your appointment he focuses on you. Dr. Nolen told me upfront of the risks of my much needed surgery. My age was a factor (68). I could end up with partial facial paralysis. The surgery involved working around a major nerve that controlled the movement of the right side of my face. That nerve might need removal and then replacement. I might not be able to close my right eye or close my lips together on the right side of my face after the surgery. I could end up drooling. He has years of experience in any event. On my first visit I felt very confident he could do the job. He told me everything I needed to hear. I had a tumor in my right parotid gland. I also had a second tumor in my right ear canal. That second tumor had pretty much ended my hearing in that ear. One looked to overlap the other. From the CT scan the one was deep and could near a jugular vein. They had both been there since 2019. Four years of knowing weighs on one's mind. A biopsy was done prior to my meeting Dr. Nolen by Dr. Whited also of Austin ENT. He referred me to Dr. Nolan after realizing the magnitude of the necessary surgery. His specialty is throats not so much ear related issues. But he too could have performed the surgery. That referral also speaks volumes to the abilities of Dr. Nolen. Another thing I needed to hear was that it could take 6-7 hours of surgery. That concerned me greatly. He assured me with confidence he had preformed much longer surgeries. After the surgery he told me the way it was. The surgery ended up being much easier than originally assessed. Luck was on my side he had seen and operated on much worse. In the end I had very little facial paralysis, which was mostly being able to firmly close my lips together. The exciting news, I feel I got back more hearing in that ear than I thought possible. Thank You Dr. Nolen!

While I was planning on selecting a surgeon here in Austin, I did not limit my search to just this city. I looked in all areas of Texas and even beyond. However, once I identified Dr Kemper, I was confident that I had found the best surgeon for my needs regardless of location. To be brief, Dr. Kemper is a fantastic surgeon. He listens well, explains himself and addresses any concerns with honesty and professionalism. Plus, he's done this procedure many, many times and knows exactly what needs to be done. To say "I trust him" is an understatement. I knew that my condition would be taken care of withit Dr Kemper. My surgery was 6 months ago. Not only did Dr Kemper live up to my expectations but I am happy to say that I am better today that I have been in many, many years. My condition is 100% corrected and there are no residual effects from the procedure; even my 8" scar is invisible and no nerve issues with my skin. I cannot thank him enough or recommend him any higher - he's the best. I would also like to thank his staff for their excellent care. Ironically, my condition required the partnership with an Austin Brain Surgeon who is also "Dr. Kemper". While they are not related, they both worked flawlessly as a team, and I am forever grateful. Cheers!

The entire office communication was extremely difficult, I would leave multiple voicemails and not hear back for days and weeks. I was going to have a tonsillectomy as well as sinus and septum surgery all at once to his recommendation, it took almost 2 weeks for them to inform my insurance and when I called to finally schedule he surgery it was more days of waiting for a call back. I had time to seek another opinion, discuss and schedule surgery with another doctor, they called me back the day before my tonsillectomy with my more responsible doctor, who split up the procedures, if not I don?t know how I would recover since the tonsillectomy has put me through the ringer. Nason is money hungry and arrogant. Their office is unhelpful. Do NOT go to this office.

Dr. Young was very understanding of my issue and explained the different options I have for addressing it. This resulted in an in-person visit. I was greeted quickly and very friendly.  The waiting room is very calming; you only hear the light music from the front desk and the hum of the air purifier. The nurse who took me back to the room and took my vitals was very friendly and made me feel welcome. My visit with Dr. Young was awesome.  She explained everything she did, step by step, and was patient with all of my questions. Building is in a quiet area and has ample parking.
