This was our first visit (consult visit with this office). It's a very clean office. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I tend to be long winded at times and I wasn't rushed or cutoff, they listened and heard me while I spoke, which I appreciated. This visit was for my seven year old, so they ensured that all they found, I could see for myself and understood what it all meant. Answered our questions on-site and then gave us time to process the information. . Is that not what we all want in a provider! Again, only our first visit but it was amazing. So now, we have a procedure coming and we'll see how that goes, however, I'm not concerned. Dr. Tahari and hos team seem to have it together. Of note, be prepared to pay for your portion of the visit BEFORE you leave the office. I'm not a huge fan of this practice. I'm of the belief, if you have insurance, the billing should first be sent through the insurance and then send a bill to me for my portion once the insurance advises what my portion is. I had an appointment with Dr. Kevin Taheri for my son, July 15 Monday. Since he has good reviews I did not mind driving 36 minutes from south austin to cedar park. I was very disappointed, the staff that guide and help me for all the paper work and to iPad filled up the information did not inform me that Dr. Kevin Taheri will not be able to see my son. I was expecting a doctor not PA, if they just informed me before hand then i was mentally ready to see the PA. I was wasting my time this day. read more

This is a practice where cutting edge technology meets precise execution. The office has it's own in-house diagnostic, imaging and and surgery capabilities including endoscope and sinus CT scanner. I had been living on nasal sprays due to breathing difficulties and elected to have in-office sinus surgery after being diagnosed with 3 sinus issues. The minor procedure was easy to tolerate and the results were spectacular. This is the most convenient, 1-stop shopping ENT office and I could not imagine a better experience. Dr. Tahari removed my tonsils as an adult after a lifetime of misery, strep throat and sinus infections. He was completely awesome when the scabs came off 5 days after surgery and I wanted to die from the pain and swelling. A shot of steroids and I was golden. Recently, however, I have been suffering from vertigo. There is a difference between vertigo and dizziness. I had the nystagmus (uncontrolled eye movement) vertigo with nausea. I'd had it once before with a flu but it resolved. He showed me exercises to do to '"reset fragmented crystals" in my ear & it worked for a while.... Over months it came and went until it was evident my vertigo wasn't going away and it became so severe I was becoming incapacitated! Lo and behold, a bladder infection & a round of antibiotics localized an inner ear infection and showed me I actually had a molar tooth gone bad. It had slowly infiltrated my sinuses and ears. I just want to WARN patients that VERTIGO should never be a diagnosis in itself.....it is a SYMPTOM of something else going on. Do not accept a diagnosis of vertigo! read more

No opinion about the doctor, but the office is terrible. Appointment for allergy test was scheduled at 10 AM. I get there at 10 AM and wait for an hour in the lobby until they actually do it. After the test I call them and order allergy drops. I tell them I'll be picking them up at Round Rock location. They call me 2 weeks later and say my allergy drops are ready to pick up "tomorrow after 2 PM". I come here the next day at 3:30 PM and it's closed and dark. I call back and this time they tell me the drops will be ready to pick up at Round Rock location on Wednesday. I call on Wednesday morning and ask if the drops are ready to be picked up at Round Rock location. They tell me they are. I immediately come here and it's closed and dark. I call back again and THIS TIME they tell the Round Rock office is only open on Mondays, and between 1 and 4:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Still don't have my allergy drops. read more

Austin allergies are killer and Dr. Taheri is the first doctor in a decade to be able to make them actually bearable. I am a unique reviewer compared to many of his patients. I actually used to work for Dr. Taheri and was a actual patient of his as well. I can honestly say that his bedside manner is very professional and nurturing. He will always tell the truth and does not sugar coat anything. During my medical complication, he did help me with my healing process. He will always seek the best treatment for his patients and will put them first. I have never been more comfortable with a doctor in a long time. Had some serious ear issues after flying back in July. Dr. "T" as I call him was so up front about everything! Asked alot of questions, history of past issues, what exactly was I experiencing, did I have alot of pain. I felt my time with the doctor was not rushed and my appts. which have been several now are always on time. This NEVER happens for me. They Rock!! I cannot have had a better outcome for my surgery. The Dr. is kind and knowledgeable and has a lovely bedside/chair-side manner. I have had a deviated septum since birth and recently I had limited airflow. My Dr. recommended him as she uses him as well. BEST CHOICE EVER.... after a quick 30 minute surgery I can sleep with out sounding like a freight train, I don't feel as tired as I am getting the correct air flow, and I think I look better as well. Dr Taheri is a no nonsense doctor who knows his business. I've trusted him with the most important person in my life - my son. He performed a balloon sinuplasty, tonsil and adenoid removal. I do not trust people easily. I trust Dr Taheri and have continued to refer people to his office. Fair warning - his office staff is not the best. Scheduling can be a nightmare and trying to pay a long game of phone tag (unless you can sit around your phone). We did schedule most of our appointments and follow ups using the ZOCDOC site and found that much easier. He not only cared about healing my son, but also about relieving his symptoms. Dr. Kevin Taheri is a Godsend! First, he and his staff were able to see me on the same day for an urgent problem. I had completely lost the hearing in both ears. They were able to lance and drain me on the same day, and when I thought I might benefit from tubes, he was able to see me again on short notice and perform the procedure right away. He ordered a CT scan of m sinuses and thank goodness he did because I need endoscopic sinus surgery, which he will be performing in the next couple of weeks on me. I would not want anyone else to perform the surgery. Dr. Taheri is the absolute best. He is a very kind, caring, empathetic doctor and a great listener. Dr. Taheri fixed my deviated septum on the right and reduced the size of my nasal gland on the left to reduce allergies. I also had a bump on my nose and he removed that as well. He was easy to talk to, made it easy for me to schedule the procedure, and best of all my nose looks amazing and I can fully breath through both nostrils. I started going to Dr. Taheri about two years ago for dripping nose after changing insurance company. I am retired and on medicare and have a limited income. I had already been treated for this by two other doctors and I was on two different medicines that were very expensive and still no better results. Dr. Taheri put me on a very cheap nasal spray and I am still using it and it works. Now for the good part of this review. In January, I went back to him for a regular exam and get my prescription renewed for the year for the nasal spray. I mentioned to him about having migraine headaches for the past six to seven years, but recently they had become worst and I was having them four to five times a day lasting for a longer periods of time. It got so bad I even stopped going out to eat with my wife because I would never know when the migrains would hit. I had previously been to three doctors about this, including a neurosurgeon. All they did was prescribe pain medicine that did absolutely nothing to stop the pain. So I had stopped taking the pain meds and was just using advil. But, I would take probably 16 to 18 a day. I know, Way too much, but better taking those than the pain medicine. Dr. Taheri immediately ordered 4 different types of MRI's on my head and face. Now this really wasn't part of his expertise, but he did it just to try and find the problem since no one else (supposingly specializing in this field of medicine) treating me were doing anything to diagnose the problem. The MRI's did find the problem. I had Trigeminal Neuralgia (offen referred to as the suicide disease) on both sides of my face. He then took the time to consult with another doctor specializing in this field and got the name of the medicine that can be used to treat this problem. It is not a pain medicine. It treated the cause which is a problem with a major nerve running along both sides of the face up to the brain. And its relatively cheap---under ten dollars for a 90 day supply. The medicine immediately worked and after nine months of taking it twice a day, I have only had three episodes and immediately took an extra dose and the migrains were gone in ten minutes. I can't praise Dr. Taheri enough for taking the time and effort to find this problem and essentially stop a life of constant pain after many many years of hell. He saved my life. And I am back to socializing again and living a normal life. Many, many thanks To Dr. Taheri. This doctor is a great person and will do what it takes to find a cure for your problems. And he will not reap you off. He will only do what is necessary to try to help people. Don't think twice, go to this doctor. read more

I was referred to Dr. Taheri by my primary care physician since I was looking to reduce snoring. I had been trying to decide between doing a sleep study or seeing an ENT first. I'm glad I went to see Dr. Taheri! He took a look and immediately saw that I had a deviated septum, and suspected more problems since he saw that things didn't look good in my sinuses with a scope, and couldn't even get the scope up on the right side :-/ . After ordering a CT scan to get a better idea of what was going on, it was clear that my sinuses were largely blocked and that I needed surgery to correct my septum and unblock all of my sinuses. The surgery went well (septoplasty, turbinate reduction, etc), and he was able to correct my septum and get rid of the excess tissue that was blocking everything. It's now been a month since surgery, and my nose and sinuses feel much much better! I can take very full and complete breaths now - and didn't realize what that felt like until now. I guess I had gotten used to things as they were (I had sinus infections 1-2 times a year as a child), and things must have gotten inflamed and blocked over the years... I'm just surprised that I hadn't been in pain every day for years! Anyway, Dr. Taheri was great before and after my surgery. I definitely would recommend him if you're looking for an ENT or suspect that you may have issues as I did. read more

I recently had a balloon sinuplasty with Dr. Kevin Taheri and my experience was incredible. I had difficulty breathing through my nose and was constantly experiencing sinus pressure/pain in my cheeks. I had tried several medications and nasal sprays with no improvement in my symptoms. I was experiencing fatigue almost every day and felt as though I was constantly fighting an infection. Once I got my CT Sinus I was given the options of surgery vs medical management, however I knew that no medications had worked in the past and decided to proceed with the maxillary balloon sinuplasty. Dr. Taheri explained everything in detail and what to expect from the surgery. I felt as though I was being listened to and that he was taking my symptoms seriously. My surgery was completed in the office, and was a great experience. Dr. Taheri made me feel very comfortable and explained exactly what he was doing before he did it. I did not experience any pain during my procedure, and he flushed my sinuses as well to get rid of the infection that was present. The next day after my surgery I felt extremely better. Now almost one month out I can finally breathe through my nose and do not have any pain/pressure in my sinuses. I also do not feel fatigued anymore. This has been one of the best choices I made and would recommend Dr. Taheri to everyone! read more
