So now, we have a procedure coming and we'll see how that goes, however, I'm not concerned. Dr. Tahari and hos team seem to have it together. Of note, be prepared to pay for your portion of the visit BEFORE you leave the office. I'm not a huge fan of this practice. I'm of the belief, if you have insurance, the billing should first be sent through the insurance and then send a bill to me for my portion once the insurance advises what my portion is. I was standing at the front desk and in a rude tone of voice, Danni said, "do you have an appointment here. Danni was verbally abusive and does not like people, she is not friendly. Danni said something extremely fast. I said I'm sorry, what did you say? She got up out of her chair and was talking very loudly and she said your ID and insurance. I said I can hear you, you do not have to speak to me that loud. Danni got even louder and nastier and said Id and Insurance. I said I just gave that to you. I said I can hear you, you do not have to speak to me like that, you are speaking very loudly. In a nasty aggressive tone she said, well you said you couldn't hear me. I said I did not understand what you said because you were speaking very fast. She got even louder. There was another customer standing at the desk watching all of this. I find it hard to believe that you let an employee mistreat customers like this. Danni needs to be fired and find a job where she is not required to provide excellent customer service. He informed me of what I was dealing with and what courses of action to take. He laid out detailed steps on what to do if the sinus issue did or did not improve. His diagnosis resonated with me as I had had similar problems ten years ago and this was following the same path. I highly recommend Dr. Dhruva. A year later, I get sent back to him because my lymph nodes are still swollen. He then does a biopsy and I have lymphoma. I asked him why we didn't catch this last year and he said if I didn't have confidence in him, there are plenty of other ENT's to go to. I said I needed a surgical biopsy ASAP. Now I can't feel my ear at all. I think a good ENT would have not severed the nerve to my ear. He gets two stars because he seems to be available on short notice. I do have a new ENT now.

It's truly unfortunate because my husband needs hearing testing, and we have a house of four that would be patients of Dr Tahari, as well as I will communicate this to my Family Doctor so she no longer refers to this office. That's a lot more than $350, but the office was not willing to make this right. I hate to leave negative reviews but there was a time in my life that that amount would have broken my family. I came to ENT Specialists of Austin for what should have been a standard clinical evaluation. During the exam, Dr. Youssef grabbed my tongue with gauze and yanked it so violently to the side that the tissue tore and started bleeding right there in the exam chair. The pain was immediate and excruciating. For several days afterward, my tongue and throat were swollen, and I couldn't swallow without sharp pain or eat solid food. What made the visit completely surreal was the lack of proper medical equipment. Instead of using a sterile ENT scope or a dedicated clinical camera, Dr. Youssef literally grabbed my personal cell phone, turned on the flashlight, and held my unsterilized phone right in front of my open, bleeding mouth to take pictures. Aggressive physical handling, painful recovery, and zero regard for sterile technique. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for ENT care and avoiding Dr. Youssef.

They just made up a date and lied, saying it was reprocessed and denied on that date. Not how it works! BCBS would know if they reprocessed a claim, and I would see it on my portal. I'm not sure why ARC is doing this. It would have been much easier for all of us if they just did their jobs instead of committing fraud.

Dr. Tamez including the different areas of in office testing and staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional, respectful, helpful and if your OCD like me the office is very clean. I have had several procedures over a course of eight years with no success or long term positive results. Trust me! I have had it all done except my deviated septum which will be addressed as well. I appreciate his candor, detailed explanations of what is needed, my pre and postreatment plan and knowing they are all genuinely compassionate to any concerns or how bad you're feeling. My personal advice is please follow any given instructions or recommends for pre treatments and post treatments. You have to work as a team if you want a successful outcome. If you need to see any other specialist he is recommending do so, even if needed for TMJ and jaw realignment or other specialist. We know that TMJ is not pleasant and it all goes together like a puzzle piece. It will make sense once you understand your correct diagnosis or condition. I'm 3 weeks into my pre treatment which will take about 10 months versus 4 months for my TMJ and Jaw realignment. I only want to wear my temporary treatment TMJ and Jaw realignment guard at night. I also appreciate the fact that he dictates his notes while your in the room so you both know you're on the same page and can ask any final questions at the very end. He has a lot of information he has to note in your file so let him do his due diligence. It is beneficial, time saving and necessary. You will find that he will have answered 99% during your appointment. So, have your questions or concerns ready before your appointment as each patient's time is just as important as yours. Your appointment will be more productive and you'll actually have more time and not wasted time if needed. Being that I am a more complicated case this should put some of you who may have any concerns at ease. Dr. Tamez was extremely adamant to make sure that all my tests were up to date including an upcoming repeat sleep study for my specific condition. He also involved my Primary and Neurologist for a release of consent for treatment due to my health conditions. Which by the way all came back as approved for treatment- YAY! So my journey began with my treatment plan last month with my Jaw as you can see in the photo of my 3-D imaging , exercising my bi- lateral gestation tubes with a pretty neat battery operated Eustachi machine. I'm doing the prep work and it's working! Dr.Tamez is not arrogant by any means, he is confident and extremely knowledgeable - there is a difference. In fact his whole staff falls in the same level of professionalism in my book. They have always returned my calls regarding any further questions that have arise and yes, that includes Dr. Tamez. So do your part and understand your full treatment plan, recovery plan and what you have to look forward too. It will make it easier in your healing process mentally and physically. My issue turned out to be outside of their scope but they squared me away with their notes, the X-ray imagery and put in some prescriptions for me. All in all, I was in and out in about 2 hours.
