I fully expected my condo would sell, and it did, but what I did not expect was to really like the Team personally -- a definite plus! I think it's helpful to have a semi-personal connection in what was for me at least, a stressful time. I found both James and Kin to be especially responsive, timely, knowledgeable, pleasant, good listeners, well-ordered, well regarded, and just plain nice -- a Class Act, if you will. Recently we sold our house that James Dye helped us to purchase as the buyer's agent 3 years prior. This was our third time working with James and every time we are more and more impressed. When we first found James, initially what we noticed about him compared to the other agents was his honesty. The best way I could describe it is, he didn't just tell us what we wanted to hear, rather he told us what we needed to hear. In late 2021, I decided I wanted to purchase property in Contra Costa County, particularly in Walnut Creek, where I would be conveniently located close to my work. I have several friends and relatives whom are realtors out of the area, but after reading through James' reviews, I decided he would be the ideal agent whom had exceptional knowledge of the area. Someone who is familiar with the desirable parts and sub communities within the area. I explained to him what I was looking for, what my budget was, and particular locations I was interested in. Kin was very prompt, punctual, and organized in scheduling and giving me tours throughout the county of prospective properties. Many times, I would have last minute suggestions and she would still take time out of her day to arrange a tour, do research, and give a tour of that particular property. I must have toured 12 properties before finding the right one. James was extremely responsive and thorough on keeping me updated throughout the entire purchase process-via email or text. Communication was effortless from the early morning until late in the evening, daily. James and I even had some discussions over the phone regarding concerns I had- on his birthday! As a Buyers Agent (2017): James was the our agent when we bought our first home (townhouse) in 2017 and he was extremely responsive and dedicated to getting the job done. Once you have fixed the items on the inspection, then the house will be cleaned, staged, and photographed. Now that our kids are going into middle school we needed to get a new house with an additional bedroom so they can have their own spaces. I'm super glad and grateful that I was able to connect with James and his team for the purchase of our new construction home, especially since they are familiar with homes in the Tri Valley. From the first call with Kin, she was able to articulate the value of having the team along our home purchase journey. Either James or Kin would be present when viewing homes prior to our final decision, assisted us at the design center, and accompanied us at multiple home site appts. If we were interested in a certain development, Kin would go check it out and take photos for us. Also, at the same time, even though she knew we wanted to buy new home development, she offered to keep an eye out for somewhat new homes on market to see if we would be interested. I loved how she was so proactive. Response time through email or txt was impeccable! Sometimes I'm not sure if James ever eats or sleeps. That shows some dedication to his clients.
