Kari was everything and more. We found a house from one of her listings that was sent to my email. I promptly call her and set up an appointment. She called me with in an hour. We saw the house and fell in love. Informed her that my house was not for sale yet. She had the contractors available to paint, stage, take pictures and the best house video I have every scene. You'd think there would be backup if you're part of a team, and, nobody stepped up when Kari was too busy with her personal life to communicate efficiently or appropriately. My husband and I were looking for homes quite sometimes. After speaking to saveral different agents we decided on Kari. She had a great knowledge of real estate in Pleasanton and Dublin area, and we really liked her professionalism and strategy buying/selling homes. She was great throughout the entire home buying experience but three memorable instances come to mind. First, after putting in a bid on a home we really liked, we received a counter offer. I had given Kari the maximum value we were willing to pay. I think there would have been many other agents who would have been content placing counter offer that meets the client's request. But Kari on her own, figured out a way to save us money and placed a smart offer that was below the maximum amount we were willing to counter. Second, she has a great network of resources. I'm sure there are other agents with plenty of resources but the quality of resources Kari suggested was really high. Whether they were inspectors or contractors, I could tell they were very professional and punctual. I felt really comfortable using the resources Kari suggested. Thirdly, I really liked how detailed she was. She made sure nothing was missed and thought out. Any small detail I knew I wanted but didn't think of at the time, she made sure they were taken care of. Lastly, she works with a really good group of people. Kari's team she was working with, you can tell they work well together by how quickly and smoothly they worked. I loved their efficient execution and creativity to make sure I got the result I wanted. Buying home is often long and stressful process. My wife and I moved to Bay area from Philadelphia 2 years ago and my company had paid for 1 week for us to come out and find a place to live. Being that we were from Philly, we were used to living in a home didn't want to downgrade to apartment, but the rental market is extremely competitive. This review is long over due. We bought our house with Kari's assistance in May of 2012. Kari showed us 15+ homes over the course of two weeks. We finally decided on a very rough foreclosure. When it came time to secure financing our credit union, Western Federal, dropped the ball. Literally...Western called Kari the day prior to funding to inform her that the deal was doomed. Kari was there to help with that too. She contacted a friend and mortgage broker; we spoke; and the deal was resurrected. Without Kari's help, we would be homeless (not an exaggeration but a whole other story). in addition, Kari helped us organize the inspections, was there at the property when PG&E and Livermore Zone 7 required someone to be there before they could turn on the gas, electricity and water.
