While we were there, Heather (plus another staff member who I cannot remember the name of!) worked with us to help me find my perfect wedding band that complemented my engagement ring. They were patient and helpful throughout the process. Upon making the purchase, we were informed that the ring would be ready a week before our wedding so that we would have time to pick it up and make sure everything looked good. When we got to the week before mark, we hadn't received any updates so I gave them a call, and they informed us that there had been some delays and they would have the ring ready 2 days before the wedding. This caused us unnecessary stress in the days before our wedding, but thankfully Heather called to let us know that the ring was ready 4 days before the wedding! As I was looking around, I found something for myself, a ring. When I asked Cameron about a ring size, she mentioned that we could customize the stone. I was sold. Also, Erica checked me out at the register she was so pleasant and kind. She made sure to give every customer her undivided attention as they were being checked out. I've worked in retail for many years and the customer service that I received at this location, far exceeds any of my retail shopping experiences. I genuinely felt like everybody working there was happy to be there. They had so many cute things in various price points. I had no idea that they also make custom rings and necklaces. You can choose your own color stone. The parking can be a little tough, but if you park in the parking garage, you should be fine.

This stone went from being slightly green clear when I bought it just a few years ago to bright yellow. The number of items we have bought from DY is insane. I have dozens of pieces. It's always crazy when a store is resistant to help you when their own product fails, but the act of making you feel crazy about the truth ruins the shopping experience. Though the location was busy and there were a number people waiting, he never made us feel rushed and took his time with us, but also genuinely greeted the others around us, making sure they knew he was aware of them and was ready to take care of them after us. He helped us understand our plethora of options and made sure we got what we wanted. He also helped us with some savings, helping us save some money to go towards our future framing projects. I have always loved big gold hoop earrings of all types. I was in search of 60mm that didn't break…read morethe bank. I had searched online and stopped in at Macy's and Kay in the Stonebriar mall. Macy's, even on sale were ridiculously pricey. Kay didn't have any that large. I was unfamiliar with Benchmark Jewelers and almost didn't stop in but I figured, what the heck. Although none were on display, the gentleman, Mak said he had a catalog where they could special order. The initially quoted price for 60mm endless hoops was a bit more than I was allowing myself to spend and I was about to say thanks but no thanks. Mak then sweetened the deal. I went for it and crossed my fingers since I was buying sight unseen. The earrings came in on day three. They look great but are extremely thin...probably the thinest hoops I have ever owned. They are beautiful but I'm hoping they are more durable than they look because I want to be comfortable wearing them freely without worry. Fingers crossed and just to be on the safe side I decided to go for the third party insurance to protect my investment. Based on this experience I would recommend Benchmark Jeweler's and plan to go back for a nice gold bangle bracelet.
